Trattoria Lisina Ratings and Reviews
A fish bone in my $38 evening chef special polenta ruined the meal. No manager apology or visit to table for this is not acceptable in a fine dining establishment. Server never filled water or tea. It was my birthday but no recognition since server was absent. Fellow diner very pleased with pork chop dinner. My grilled asparagus salad was wonderful. We will return, have been there before, but not on a busy, noisy time.
My family and I visit Trattoria Lisina at least once a month! Mario is our usual server and is always very accommodating. Cami at the front always puts up with my last minute guest additions!
Tim and Spencer at the bar are both knowledgeable and so kind to my family.
My friends and family have RAVED about the food.

We haven’t been here in years and were looking forward to going back. Kitchen seemed.... off. Not sure how to say it but the apps came out ten minutes apart and at dinner they served the entree without the sides. Again, almost ten minutes later once everyone finished the side showed up. The waiter handled it well but it was obvious they were out of sorts.
Food was still excellent but sold 4 stars overall.
My husband & I started out w/ Black Cherry Manhattan & Italian Margarita - both were excellent and the bartenders were a hoot. Our waiter was young and awkward but tried hard. The foccacia & dipping sauce were excellent! I had fettuccine con fungi (without prosciutto by request)was rich and delicious. My hubby raved about his duck. They've finally added a few Texas wines to their wine list, we tried 2 and liked both. We ended with tiramisu and coffee, which was also good. A very rich meal but nice for a special occasion.
We had a memorable time in our visit. Excellent ambiance; a little trip to Italy! Only complaint is that service was a bit slow at the beggining, but rapidly fixed when asked for help. A nice part of the visit was stopping at the Winery, next door, right before our reservation.
The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding overall, but there was a very long wait between when we finished our appitizer and when we got our meal. Nobody spoke to us for that time, which was about 20 minutes. Once our food arrived, at least 4 different people asked us if everything was good. It would have been nice if one of those people asked while we were waiting so long. Thankfully, the food was hot and fantastic, and we weren’t in a hurry at all.
Mandola and Trattoria Lisina never disappoint. Over the top satisfaction on food, wine, service - the works. The seafood dishes are always outstanding. Greatly enjoyed the calamari and the asparagus salad, both more than enough for our table of 5 to share. Pastas could not be more perfect. All the way to dessert when we shared the chocolate cake and the cheesecake. I certainly intend to visit more often.
Food was a great peak into a traditional Trattoria. Service was exceptional and all items seemed to be craftfully selected to create wonderful authentic dishes. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Italian restaurant on a picturesque piece of land.
We had the opportunity to eat here on Christmas Eve and it will be our tradition going forward. The food was delicious and our server was incredible. Calamari, Meatballs, Pizza and Carbonara with home made pasta were all wonderful. Hope you all get a chance to enjoy dinner here.
