Excellent food. We were celebrating a birthday as noted in the reservation, unfortunately the staff did not acknowledge the birthday at all. ☹️
We ate outside and it was so nice! Food was great.
The staff were very attentive and prompt, but in no way made you feel rushed. This restaurant was very quick and efficient. The food was great too. All members of our party were very satisfied with our food and service! I would definitely go back to this restaurant again.
Excellent Italian restaurant
We had a great time celebrating Mother’s Day! The food was amazing, fried calamari and the grilled seafood were fresh and tasty. The service was top notch - friendly and attentive.
Good was delicious! Love this place.
Loved loved the food! I had the Chilean sea bass special - absolutely delicious.
We had our daughters Graduation dinner from Northeastern University on Saturday.
The service was very fast, the food was absolutely delicious and the Espresso Martini was awesome. We actually ordered another the mushroom ravioli & Gnocci to go it was so good. The only disappointment was no dessert.... you have to go somewhere else for that and the lines in the North End are very long
We made reservations at Trattoria II Panino to celebrate my daughter's USJ PA Whitecoat Ceremony. Although we had a small delay parking, the staff was pleasant and accommodating. We were seated and had the most amazing dinner. Everyone loved their entree and we also enjoyed the appetizers and bottle of wine. Our server, Angelica, was wonderfully cheerful, helpful and attentive though not overpowering. She was perfect. I would recommend this establishment to all!
This is my favorite restaurant in the North End and probably Boston. The lobster ravioli is absolutely amazing.
Pretty noisy and they they basically kicked us out of the place when it was not even 11pm
Best place on earth. Service. Food. Amazing
Food is great, but staff need to pay more attention to customers.
Fantastic food. We were here early (6:15 p.m. on a Tuesday) so not crowded. Fast service, extensive menu and wine list.
Food outstanding tonight- Friends went for traditional Chicken Parmesan perfectly fine, excellent sauce and portion big enough for 2 meals. Two of us went for special- lobster and scallops fra diavolo with homemade tubetti pasta- outstanding. They made special for me shrimp fra diavolo- sauce perfect, pasta fresh and home made. Fried calamari for appetizers, we couldn’t eat dessert. Highly recommend!
This is out favorite North End restaurant
We felt very safe dining there
Stellar Italian dishes. Great service. The cocktails are delicious too! Great place just a hop over from the main hustle & bustle of Hanover Street
Made a reservation but didn’t actually sit at the table till an hour after
We were rushed terribly
meals came while we were still having appetizers.
Made reservations but still got a seat in the street.
it was cold.
bc of the timing my meal was cold before i was able to start it
the waiter was quite nice but the rate of service was poor as was the accommodation esp disappointed bc we had reserved
there were available seats inside the whole time we were there too
Food was incredible but staff rushed us out the moment the check was signed. We arrived early, were patient and pleasant and didn’t deserve the rude attitudes. I’ve never had a waiter pick up the final bill before the dishes.
Fantastic food and service! Can’t wait to return :)
I love this place, they never disappoint! Great service, great FRESH food. Definitely good for special occasions as it is a little more costly than your average Italian restaurant, but with good reason, it’s far from average!!! I will go back here again and again. Already been twice this year.
Food was amazing, ambiance was great, server could’ve done a little more. Didn’t really check up on us or ask if we needed anything.
We had been looking forward to trying Il Panino for a while. We scheduled a special date night last night and let’s just say we’re completely let down. First, after making reservations weeks in advance we were put at a table downstairs in the back of the restaurant against a door that the staff were constantly coming in and out of slamming the door behind them each and every time. If the “eating in a warehouse” vibe is what you’re looking for, look no further. These tables are crammed together and it looks like a makeshift situation... unfortunate really. The food was ok, lacking flavor but we were able to get some salt and pepper packets... kind of trashy at an upscale restaurant. The waitress was like a wet blanket... 0 personality... looked as though she wanted to leave the whole time.
Overall I give this place a 2 out of 10... mainly because the seating situation was basically unacceptable.
Very bland food for the north end. Had to keep calling servers to get service
I was somewhat happy with the chocie. I would have liked there to be glass cups and maybe a table cloth but all details aside the food was good.
The mussels were delicious - best I ever had. Lasagna was great - large portion - so go there when you are really hungry
We went there for a date and the place was really dark, really loud, the waiter took his time to help us. My food was good, I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and it was really good, but my boyfriend got a alfredo pasta and it was nothing special. Overall I wouldn’t go there again.
il panino never disappointed
The food was some of the best I have had in the North End.
Upon arrival told we only had an hour to complete dinner. Created a rushed atmosphere.
I’ve heard of the 1.5 hour state restriction.
Would have liked to have been told earlier. Planned that dinner weeks ahead. We would have gone somewhere else.
Birthday. Food was good and a fun location
Food was excellent and waiter was extremely friendly!
Great service great food even better drinks
Best restaurant in the north end. The service, food and atmosphere is perfection. We had such a good meal we went back for dinner two days later. Angelica and Paolo were incredible and made our nights even better. We got the calamari, zucchini flowers, lobster raviolis, mushroom truffle raviolis, and seafood pasta. A true must go to.
Food was great. A little disappointed that when we moved our table that it limited our menu selection without us knowing.
Trattoria is always a go to, never fails me. Outstanding experience every time
We were running about ~30 minutes late and they still held our reservation. Food was delicious, drinks were refreshing, ambiance was relaxing. The service is also outstanding. We will return!
Everything was fantastic. We went for my daughter's birthday, the staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We will definitely go back again.
