    SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!! We ate at one of their sister restaurants, Bricco, a few nights before and had an amazing experience, but this restaurant is not even close to as good of food, ambience or service! Most seating is downstairs in their basement, very hot and crowded and the servers could not wait to be done with us! Very much gave us the impression we were not important and rushed us through our meal. Will not go back and do not recommend!!

    Had a lot of recommendations for this place. The food was good but didn't get a wow factor from it. Service was great and extremely fast. Would I go back? I probably wouldn't.

    The service was great and the staff is so friendly and nice. We did not like our dinners at all to be honest. Heavy and tasteless without much flavor. The meatballs were the only saving Grace. The beef cappaccio is too thick and hard to chew even. The regular raviolis were decent, the lobster raviolis weee blah. Much better choices in the area.

    We loved our dinner. Made a 630 reservation and they took us right on time. You need to know, that part of the character of this place is that it’s very busy, crowded, lots of activity, and noisy. The portions are large, and the food is fantastic. They were just two of us. We had a small table right next to the very bustling kitchen…perfect addition to the Trattoria atmosphere we love. Caesar salad, spaghetti carbonara, and Penne Amatrician, very very good.

    We checked in for our reservation on time and were asked to stand to the side. We were not seated for 45 minutes until after the time of our reservation.

    Way too noisy. Very limited menu. Food was good but not many choices. Stale bread. No soups. Had a charcuterie board. Prosciutto was too thick, especially for an Italian restaurant. Lots of penne pasta but few linguini choices. Overall, won’t be back.

    All 3 members of our party said the food was delicious. They even prepared a dish that was not on the menu ( veal parmesan) that was excellent.

    One of our favorite restaurants for date night. Our waiter was attentive. Food and drinks were impeccable and came out quick. I do have to mention that although the service was amazing and fast, it was almost too quick. We wanted to enjoy our experience out which doesn’t happen too often. We ordered an appetizer and drinks then put in for a caesar salad and our entrees. We got our salad after we had started eating our entrees. We thought that he might have even forgotten about it. We would have liked it to come before our main dish. All in all, would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful experience and delicious food. We will be back.

    Not worth the hype. Yes the pasta was authentic tasting but nothing worth bragging about or returning for. The service was good, but it was insanely overcrowded where you could barely move without touching the table next to you and it was insanely noisy. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy your meal, this is not it, at least not on a weekend. Most likely won’t be going out of my way to return here.

    Went for a friend’s birthday: our reservation for 7:45, checked in 15 minutes early and they gave our table away, didn’t sit until 8:30, didn’t eat until 9. Food was good but not mind-blowing for being on Hanover St among all the other good options. Pasta was good but the bread was cold and we had to ask for it, and the fried zucchini flowers were soggy. Our waitress was good but the hostesses were a bit rude, and it was so loud my friends and I practically had to shout to hear each other. I might try it again for lunch but wouldn’t go again on a weekend.

    We enjoyed classic Italian dishes such as mushroom risotto, puttanesca and lasagne, all well well cooked and seasoned. Special praise for the lasagna, beef that day. Only caveat:bread mediocre, odd considering that this is in the North End.

    This has become our "Go To" Restaurant in the North End. The finest tasting pasta of ALL the restaurants and we have tried most. Also the Lamb Chops are simply superb. Can't wait to go back! Everyone should try the Ravioli Pascheri-a "one of a kind dish.

    We had a great experience for my friends birthday! Our sever even brought us a tiramisu with a candle. Dinner was delicious, you can taste the freshness and it was served pretty quickly. Love it.

    We had not been to Trattoria for a while - the food was outstanding!! We ate everything - really great sauce - we had a variety of meals, meats and pastas - everything was amazing. Service was great - nicest wait staff in town. What a way to spend Thanksgiving - we are already planning to go back. Highly recommend!!!

    Great service. Meal appropriately paced. Went for Thanksgiving and wasn't rushed at all. Good for a small party 5 people or less. Has a full bar which is a plus. Food was excellent.

    I'm not sure if it was a training issue or not, but the service was horrible. The waitress started by bringing the wrong wine, then messed up our appetizer order (only got 1 out of our 3 ordered) and before we could flag her down to ask about the other apps, our main dish arrived. We asked for the correct wine - never received it and since they had different people bringing out the food, never had the opportunity to even order another round of drinks. This is not our first trip to the restaurant but for the money spent, we will try another one on our next trip to the North End

    My husband and I had the espresso martini to start while we waited and then once seated we had the chicken parm and lobster rav. All was great and service was great, very attentive. We’d definitely go back.

    Best food I’ve had in a while. Place was packed, but the service was fast and on point. Water constantly refilled which was amazing, the food came out quick and was just perfectly prepared. Top tier must visit in Boston.
