Great service and food
The food was delicious. Our server was great, but we were there for a long time. Will still definitely go back!
I ordered the shrimp and scallops with alfredo sauce. This was so hot I burnt my tongue. I showed the waitress after 10 minutes it was still steaming. Everyone else had completed their meal and it was still steaming. I showed the waitress again and she removed from check.
Marinara sauce was very good and service was excellent.
Recommend for a good Italian meal with pleasant staff
First time trying this place and we will definitely go back. Everything was amazing!
The food was delicious plus large portions. The server was great. I loved this place.
My veal was tough and inedible. My family members had Alfredo sauce and both were ill afterwards. Service was slow and it was not busy.
Other than the parking lot being tight, the restaurant was good. The waitresses were on top of everything and very sociable. The food was good and gave large portions, were able to bring left overs home for lunch the next day. It was a little loud, but once a table left we were able to hear each other much better.
Menu is deceiving- for example, there’s only one menu but lunch/ dinner prices are not listed separately. Also menu clearly states salad is served with entree and bread. This is not the case if you order the lunch portion. They need to have different menus or break down two different prices for lunch and dinner. Sauce seems to have changed too, not much flavor. This was our first visit since new owners; unfortunately we won’t be hurrying to go back
Wonderful, friendly staff and delicious, fresh authentic Italian food. A real gem of a place.
I wouldn’t judge my experience on it being Valentine’s Day. The food is good usually and the service as well.
Great food and great value.
Service was excellent
The food was very good but it took quite a while to get our food and there were not many other customers in the restaurant. There were only two other tables with a total of five other customers when we got there. Also we had a rewards card from Newark Toyota that listed this restaurant as being one of the places that gives a 10% discount when the rewards card is presented but they seemed to have no knowledge about it so we did not get the discount.
Amazing! We had a wonderful dinner and brought home lunch for the next day.
The food was very good. All 3 of us enjoyed our meal. The service was slow, but it was more crowded than usual. Would definitely go back again.
Had to ask for everything. Are you waiting on me or am I waiting on myself. Veal parmesan was good. Chicken marsala was good. Flounder Florentine was over salted. Cannoli was delicious. Had to ask for a repeat of espresso cause first round was cold..,not convinced I would come back. Shocker cause 2 yrs ago this palace was great. Maybe an off night
With a few changes, this could be a really good Italian dining spot. The pasta was al dente, the marinara sauce was really good. However, the addition of RAW, minced garlic in EVERYTHING (except salad) was most unwelcome. Raw garlic is nasty. It should be well roasted before being added to anything else that has been cooked. Either that or serve it on the side. The gnocci my husband ordered was gummy. The pesto sauce tasted like it contained mint. Weird. The "fresh made bread" was typical sliced Italian bread, not so fresh. Infused olive oil on the table was nice. On the up side, the restaurant was clean, the service was attentive and efficient. Wine and beer choices are very limited.
This restaurant is fairly new, so some slack must be given, however, significant changes should be made.
I came for dinner, and I had the ravioli with meat sauce. The ravioli was really good, stuffed with good riccotta. The meat sauce had just very fine specks of meat in it, but it was quite tasty none the less, especially when I sprinkled some parmisan cheese on it. It came with a small side salad, which was freshly made, and had a good dressing. The Italian bread was fresh and good, too. I ordered a glass of chianti, which was quite good as well. All was reasonably priced, and the service was good. I will be going back, as I consider it a good, local find.
