Either the reservations were mismanaged or they were incredibly understaffed... which is unfathomable being that it was Valentine's Day. The table next to us arrived after we ordered, and yet the ordered, received their food and left before we even saw our food. I would have ordered more drinks, but no one ever came to take the order. Our drinks were empty for over an hour. Even though we had a reservation for 2 hours before our show across the street, we missed dessert as well since our food finally arrived not long before we had to leave. I had to BEG for a bill just to pay. Avoid this place and head to Da Marino instead. Better food and incredible service.

It’s ok. Went for Valentine’s Day... it was packed. Food arrived fast, their 101 layer lasagna was good, my fiancé had fish ( wasn’t that great) food was average .. nothing fancy.. just a regular restaurant food. It’s pricy, I would say In General it’s an average restaurant

Excellent Valentine's day meal. A busy night. My wife had lamb chops and I had scallops. Food was excellent service fast. The Lemon custard pie was to die for. We sat near Stephen Colbert and everyone just let him eat his dinner with his wife.

We were visiting New York City for a concert at Carnegie Hall and on Valentine's day no less. Trattoria Dell'Arte clicked all the boxes for dinner; romantic setting, food and location. we were early for our reservations which presented no problems for the restaurant; we were warmly greeted and seated immediately. things only improved from there. our server Sage was a delight and we can't say enough good about him. we ordered from the wonderful antipasti bar and split the lasagna. food was great and we paired that with a bottle of wine. the wine list is extensive and we didn't find it terribly expensive for New York City either. wonderful experience!

It was Valentines Day. It was loud and busy but fun and festive. The staff was wonderful and made, what could have been an unpleasant experience, into a night full of fun and great food. Thank you!

Our experience at your restaurant could not have been better. We were celebrating my daughter's debut performance at Carnegie Hall. The wait staff made our unforgettable night even more spectacular. The food was amazing as well. Bravo!

The Restaurant was just OK. I used to be much better. While the wait staff were attentive enough, the food arrived over cooked and cold. I asked for salmon medium and it was cooked well done. Only go there because it is convenient to Carnegie and they have an interesting bar.

We went here on our last night, as it was close to the Park Hyatt. It’s a really cute space, although the tables are a bit crammed. The food was pretty good, although my husbands $50 Veal Chop was extremely dried out. The 101 layer lasagna was amazing, as was the lemon cream pie. Wine was not served at the right temperature and was pricy! I would come back for carry out for the lasagna alone. Service was good, but the prices are exorbitant.

I have been coming to this resto for years afer Carnegie Hall. The food was horrible! over cooked, reheated and we could not eat it. Too many people I guess before we got there after the show.

We tried this place on the recommendation of a business associate. I’m going to hate having to tell him the place was a bust. Never going to go back. The food was good but not spectacular. The rest of place needs an operational and attitude reset except for our server(Sage) and the woman checking the coats. We arrived 10 minutes early for a 7PM reservation. The Host was clearly annoyed we were there and told us in quite a rude way to check our coats and come back (even though many other diners had kept their coats with them which I prefer to do). We go back and I inform him of my reservation which I see listed on a piece of paper in front of him (I had to point it out to him). What I figured out was that he was trying to pack the place with people who had no reservations and had run out of tables when we arrived. We finally got seated and Sage came over and introduced himself. I shortly realized that we did not have a wine list which Sage was shocked about when I asked him for one. We ordered an appetizer we were going to share and 2 entrées. Not 10 minutes later, a different server arrives with our appetizer and entrees all at once. We were dumbfounded. Not a minute later Sage arrives with our appetizer and when he saw another one already on the table he was speechless. Right away he tried to go into damage control mode because he could see he had a disaster on his hands. He gave me an extra glass of wine and ended up not charging us for any of the wine we drank. He also gave us some very nice chocolate as a desert because we were not going to order one (coffee was unavailable because the restaurant had run out of cups to serve coffee and had to wait for some to be washed.) If this is how this restaurant treats all its patrons and yet people rave about it, they must enjoy being abused. What a waste of money!

The food is OK. Some very good, some only OK. The facility need some serious maintenance. The vents are covered with shipping tape and the chairs are covered with threadbare vinyl. Service is OK.
