Everyone is amazing ! The service can’t be beat ! You don’t experience service like that anymore !
The food was delicious. The service was great. Our waiter was excellent. He suggested the chicken parmigiana and it was amazing. I thought the price for a glass of wine at $18 was outrageous considering our glasses weren’t filled to a decent amount, almost less than half the glass. The waiter kept asking if we wanted another, but at that price and the amount I thought we’d have our next glass of wine at home.
Server was AMAZING!!
Excellent accommodating delicious
Great before Carnegie Hall or after shopping at new Nordstrom
A good place for dinner before a Carnegie Hall evening
However it can get a little hectic on performance evenings
Staff is accommodating
Food is reasonable
Excellent food very close seating. We had an amazing time and meal.
Trattoria Dell’Arte never disappoints. Great food and excellent service.
Cannot say enough good things about the waitstaff- went out of their way in every way. However, food was uneven.
Very, very crowded and noisy but we found a quiet spot and the food was very good, the wine quite nice at a reasonable price, and the overall experience worth it.
Pizza not as good as it used to be, sad to see , been eating there for 20 years
Great food, service and ambiance. Out of towners beware.... it ain't cheap
AND, the most charming and delightful coat check woman in NYC.
Great food! Great service!
Another excellent experience. Great spot, always a good experience. Great place to take customers!
Always a great time at Trattoria Dell'Arte!! Love the food and the excellent service!!
Loved the chicken parmigiana with pepperoni, veal picata, and fettucini alfredo!! Fried artichokes were so good!! Delicious deserts too!! Everything was outstanding- as always!
Great food, great service! Always a wonderful experience.
Avoid being seated next to a waiter station at the front.
The entree that I selected was terrific.
Food quality declined and they removed the best item on menu, balsamic glazed tuna. How can they remove a signature dish? Also Mushy pasta. Very disappointed from what used to be one of my favorites. Still not terrible but there are better choices.
It has been some time since I dined at Trattoria Dell'Arte and I am pleased to say it was better than
I remembered. Service from entry to exit was warm and helpful. The food was terrific and it remains
a very jolly place with all around. Like every restaurant in NYC now the prices have edged up
but unlike many of the others it was worth it. We will return soon again !
There was a huge wait on our food but they bought us a round of drinks and offered dessert. When we passed, the waiter gave us a card with his name offering a future dessert.Great place!
We were seated at 7:05 and not served until 8:05 with an 8:30 show at Carnegie Hall-The manager was most apologetic and took the drinks off the bill-Iy should have been more...Very disappointing-We will not go back
quite enjoyable meal and excellent service. many of my quests order Striped Sea Bass and were all delighted.
I am so disappointed in how the value of the tuna steak specialty declined. The price is the same or maybe a dollar or two more and it’s half the amount of tuna now. I would always come here for the tuna steak. I fear I may not be back here at all based on my experience with it
Food was good, but not memorable. Had chicken Milanese and ricotta bolognese dish. Three selection appetizer ordered as well, served warm, should have been hotter. Server was fabulous, very attentive and concerned to take care of us.
In NYC to see a play, and came here for brunch. The ambiance was wonderful, the waiter friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, and the food was wonderful.. My wife had the vege antipasto plate and *loved* it! The dinner menu looks great too.. we will come back for that.
This is my favorite after theater restaurant. Great food and service.
Everything was superb!
We found this restaurant on open table and were able to easily accommodate a large group (7). The food was well made and amazing
When we go to NYC this is our first stop! The food is amazing. We are never disappointed. When crowded it can be loud but we just sot back and enjoy great food! Start with an antipasto course from a selection of delicious concoctions. Pasta, Pizza, Osso Bucco, Chicken Parm are standouts.
Best Italian meals ever. Each time we visit NYC we always make a reservation to dine here.
We went with a large party of 7 women that they accommodated very nicely. We were having a pre wedding celebration and we were greeted with great enthusiasm AND we all got a free glass of prosecco. The host was very friendly and attentive despite the fact that the restaurant was packed. Very nice experience, would come again. Food was excellent. I had the salmon, done just right. Waitress was friendly, quick and efficient.
We did not have a great experience eating dinner at Trattoria Dell'Arte. The salads and pesto pasts dishes which we ordered to share as an appetizer were all fantastic - so we were off to a great start. Our entrees were another story. Besides being told that the Bronzino was the "Best in Town", it was low quality and smelled "fishy". One of our guests sent it back for another dish because it was inedible. My wife, who chose the same dish, opted to just pushed the fish around her plate - she lost interest in eating. The Grilled Veal Chop was small in size and very fatty, not much meat. The Veal Chop Milanese was excellent. We had a tough time getting service in-between courses, and it was a such an effort to have our water glasses refilled. The cocktails and wine were fine as were the desserts. We spent a lot and felt it was not a good value.
70th surprise birthday party. Excellent!!
We've been going to Trattoria Dell'Arte for many years and we are always very pleased with our experience. At our most recent visit, we notified our server, Sage, that we had a time constraint because we were heading to a show afterwards. He was a very friendly and competent server, suggested when to place our order to ensure we were out on time and then he notified us when we needed to get going! Thank you. The food, as always, was fantastic. We enjoy sitting at the bar when it's the two of us, and we enjoy sitting at a table in the bar area when we have family or friends with us.
Tonight was one of the best experiences I have had! The food was great.. the service even better!
Our waiter was very good. His recommendation of the the snapper livornese was done perfectly. The vegetable anti pasta bar was a nice touch.
I love this place. The food is excellent and the service is consistently friendly. Great for a meal before a concert at Carnegie Hall.
Always a must before the Theater!
The food was good, as always -- especially antipasto, fried artichokes and pasta. But it was noisy, expensive and we were rushed through the meal. So though I have fond memories of what it was, what it is now doesn't live up to the memories.
One of the best restaurant experiences that I ever had. A super welcome for my wife and I on arrival which was followed up all staff we came into contact with. Magnificent garlic bread and main course. Such a joy to have found this hideaway
Food was better than I expected. It was really good. The place is in a very busy midtown area and it was packed and noisy so that took away from the ambiance. The location is great if your going to Carnegie Hall. That’s when I’ll go back when I have tickets to something there.
