When we arrived to an empty dining room, we were told that we’d be dining in their outdoor dining area. Struck me as odd and frustrating, given the empty dining area, but it turned out to be ok. It was a warmer day, and although pouring rain, we were dry. The food was good but not exceptional, arriving to the table hot. My son had pasta and meatballs, and I a special of orachetti with crumbled sausage and broccoli rabe. Portions were moderately sized. The wait staff was haphazard. During our time there we saw four different servers, waiters and waitresses, none of which were terrible attentive. There were a few large groups in our area, which may explain the attentiveness of the wait staff. Overall it was a good experience but I would not be in a great hurry to go back. It seemed expensive for the experience with the staff and the quality of the food.

On a busy graduation day AND Mother’s Day they were an excellent place to start our afternoon. Even with changing our reservation twice! They were very kind and accommodating. Highly recommended. Though I may be sorry if I can’t get in next time

Really wanted to like this place. It was busy and they seemed short staffed. We waited 10 mins after walking in before we were approached and then seated (we had reservations). We waited another 10 minutes before anyone came to our table and took a drink order (we ordered our meal at the same time as we were going to a show nearby). Another 15 mins pass and still no drinks. I had to go to the bar and ask for our drinks, that finally arrived 5 mins later - almost 30 mins to get a drink since arriving. I had to return to the bar for another round of drinks as our server had not returned to our table. Food arrived and it was good. Everyone was nice, but the frustrating start was hard to overcome. I thought the comping of maybe one round of drinks would be offered (I mentioned we had waiting 25mins for our first drinks), but did not happen. Very loud inside during our visit (it was busy). Not sure I would return.

The food was amazing, service impeccable, the menu has authentic Italian dishes, went with a party of seven. Everyone loved their entrees we had pizza as an appetizer which was great a great choice for a bigger party

Honestly, I wanted to love it. Restaurant was busy on a Saturday night but there were still many empty tables. Took 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us at the door. After we were seated, it took almost 10 minutes for anyone to approach us. When the waitress finally came over she said “someone is taking care of you, right?” Wrong. Sitting with our menus closed on the table and no drinks should have been a sign. Entrees were good but portions were small and no one came over to check on us during our meal. Lastly, it took forever to get our check even after I mentioned that we were going to a show and needed to leave. Waitress was very apologetic but we left not feeling great about our experience.

Outstanding food and service. Tried this place for the first time on Valentine’s Day. Their gnocchis are served up in a creamy sauce, and their salad came out topped in a sweet vinagrete dressing. Their braised pork chop was so tender the meat practically fell off the bone! Their chocolate mousse dessert comes in a shareable portion size, and it’s topped with a confection of whipped cream and brown sugar. All in all, excellent service all the way around. After 5 PM there is ample street parking available. I will return.

My husband loved his pork meal. The lasagna sounded great based on the menu, but it came out gluey and lacking sauce. I had to ask for more sauce but they brought marinara, not bolognese. Additionally, there was not much meat in the bolognese sauce on the lasagna. I was very disappointed. Also, the menu online lists the lasagna as $14, while it’s actually $25. Feels like false advertising online…

The owner must be on holiday. The pizza was the only good thing we ordered. The vegetables were complete mush and there is no way the owner/head chef would have served such garbage. Very disappointing. Waiter was a sweetheart and did his best. Kitchen staff left much to be desired. We probably won't be back.

Early dinner on a Saturday night before the Nutcracker production for 8 of us. Service was fabulous and the noise level was perfect so we could all hear each other. We don't live in the Bridgeport area, but if we did we would definitely dine here more often!

Restaurant was very crowded on a Sat night. Service was outstanding. I had lentil soup with guanchiale, then pappardelle with sausage. Another person had pappardelle with mushrooms. Both main courses were delicious as were apps. However two others got Cacio Pepe pasta- they were very dry and had little flavor and returned to kitchen-second effort was better but still not good. Maybe kitchen was overwhelmed by crowd. Still one of our favorites but might not go on weekend nite.

Too loud! Could not hear my companion across from me! Too busy. Service was sporadic. Pasta came out cold! Not much attention from servers. I have had a good experience here before but last night was subpar. Not sure I will come back any time soon.
