Trattoria A Mano
The Bolognese and Apple cake we’re both amazing.
Upon arrival there was no wait. We were taken to our table. Service was excellent including meeting the chef. Food was fabulous. Even offers half servings of several pastas. Feels like you are in Italy.
This restaurant has become one of our favorites in Santa Fe. The food is outstanding and the servers are extremely knowledgeable about both the food and wine. Wonderful dining experience!
One of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. Food is always superb, and the service is excellent.
Truly great food and service. Would be a top restaurant in any city.
We were so happy with everything we ordered. No worries about going out on a limb trying to order the best of the menu... It’s ALL good! Lovely Valentines Evening dinner
This restraunt is hands down the BEST Italian in Northern NM. The Chef & his staff nail it every time. If you go, ask for Clayton, he'll take care of you exquisitely.
Very good food and they were able to accommodate my gluten free needs.
My wife and I enjoyed the food and service is great highly recommend will surely come back... Thank you!
Charming atmosphere with the dining area flanking an open galley kitchen. Service was excellent and we enjoyed every dish we shared - burrata, scampi, pasta and dessert.
Fantastic hostess and wait staff
I like this restaurant. No full bar here, keep that is mind. Great wine list. The food is delicious and the service was amazing. Not your traditional lasagnas, how ever....Love the ambiance too.
Outstanding food and service. Recommend making reservations as seating is limited. Allow a little extra time as there’s not a lot of parking close by. My only criticism would be their vent system. Could smell strong odors while we were there. Definitely recommend and plan to return!
Eggplant parmigiana was amazing wish we had room for desert
Not only the best Italian restaurant in Santa Fe, but one of our favorites anywhere. Restaurant design allows customers to observe the chefs/cooks working in their galley kitchen – including making their homemade pasta.
Their 13-hours osso buco is amazing and their eggplant parmigiana and Orecchiette Al Sugo are fabulous. While we're not typically dessert eaters (most are too sweet for us), their tiramisu and apple desserts were delightful surprises. Wonderfully balanced, not too sweet and a delicious way to finish the excellent meal. An expansive wine menu with a variety of prices makes for a perfect dining experience.
The wait staff is engaging and clearly enjoy working and supporting each other.
Can't recommend this gem enough!
I discussed gluten free choices with the waitress but when our meals were delivered I asked the server whether mine was gluten free. He checked and said it was not. My companions went ahead with their food. Mine was delivered some time later. The sauce was delicious but there was very little pasta--which is the whole point--handmade pasta. Comparing my plate with my companions, I had about 1/4, not even enough to twirl around just threads. I will not go back or recommend it. Too bad.
Need to get the parking valet back, at least on weekends
In a city full of great restaurants, A Mano is at the very top - clearly one of the best. The pastas are other worldly. It's on a par with the best Italian restaurants in Chicago and New York.
Very pleasant ambiance, attentive service, and delicious food. I would recommend this restaurant definitely. Only thing, all menu items sound so good that there's a danger of ordering too much food!
Appetizer and pasta were excellent, the entrée was extremely over-priced and not good at all. As an example my entrée came with Brussel Sprouts, they were mushy and blended in with the sauce the dish was served with. The wine was also over-priced. If we go back it will only be for the pasta or take out pasta. I would not recommend the restaurant, it is certainly not a good value for the quality of the food.
Quite simply a marvel! The food is impeccable. Amber's service is seamless and fun. As locals in Santa Fe, this has become our "go to" place.
Best homemade pasta outside of a Italian grammar as kitchen! The service was perfect. They didn't rush us and we took our time enjoying every course. They were attentive to every need. Amazing wine list. They even had Seghesio our neighboring winery back home in CA. our favorite.
Wonderful handmade pasta, fresh each afternoon. Quiet soft ambiance. Attentive waiter, friendly but not intrusive.
Amazing food and service! We will definitely eat here every time we are in Santa Fe!
The Chef Andrew was pretty amazing... he checked on our table several times... the attention was really nice, as was the meal.
Elise, Clayton, Ari were amazing. Food was superb. Had an absolutely wonderful dinner on Friday.
Friendly place with great service.
Over priced for the quality and small servings. Ordered arugula salad and rather than a salad, it was a couple pieces of arugula on a plate with a couple olives and whatever else. Very odd. Make sure you ask exactly what you're getting when you order.
Alwaays enjoy the food, the ambiance and watching the cooks behind a glass partician - very authentic Italian
One of the best dinners I have had in Santa Fe in a long time! Great service! Kudos to the whole evening!
Arie provided excellent service and had a great knowledge of the menu and wine list. Supper was fantastic and I’ll definitely be back.
Wonderful pastas and wine (large wine list)
The food is simply fabulous and the service staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. Wish the restaurant were a bit larger but it's cozy and wonderful to see the kitchen in the same room.
Best Italian food in Santa Fe and a VERY good value. Absolutely everything we had was excellent. Service was exceptional and entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Wine list is very good. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back again soon!
Food quality is exceptional. All of the pasta dishes ....wow. You will not be disappointed. The service is really good too. Comparing to Geronimo where the service is out of this world (hence 4 stars not 5). Great small restaurant atmosphere.
The meal at A Mano was one of the best meals I've ever eaten at a restaurant. The Osso Buco with polenta was a generous portion, perfectly cooked (13 hours must be the secret), and completely satisfying. The five orange salad was light, citrusy, and flavorful. We watched as the pastry chef made our zeppole fritti and filled each zeppole with a very high grade of dark chocolate and a gentle dusting of powdered sugar.
The maitre de was friendly, thorough and helpful with answering our questions. She also was quite aware of us throughout the meal and at our departure.
It was a wonderful dining experience. Thank you.
We have eaten several times before here but found this to be our most disappointing visit. The service was fine. The people very pleasant but the food was just so thoroughly "just OK." One constant plus is a very good wine list with a number of interesting wines at a reasonable price.
Becoming a consistent winner. Great staff. Innovative tweets on classic Italian cuisine.
Wonderful in every way! Food, service, ambience all excellent!
Good food, excellent service. Antipasti are the better choice!
