   We flew in to Phoenix specifically to go to this restaurant. It did not dissappoint! We are big fans of Chris Bianco also

   This was our second visit to Tratto in two weeks. Consistency at restaurants is a challenge, but the food was delicious both times. The focaccia with whipped ricotta starter as well as the daikon radish with onion dip were both quite good. Although the focaccia was a standout. Our whole family enjoyed the bucatini all’ amatriciana . It was flavorful with just the right amount of kick. I was under the impression that bucatini was a hollow centered spaghetti type of pasta. I didn’t find this to be the case, but it was perfectly al dente. My son said the chicken was the best he’s ever had and the thin cut pork chops were sweet and savory and cooked perfectly. The cacio e pepe was also quite good. The food is lovely and the ambience is relaxed yet would be perfect to celebrate something special. We were disappointed with the service on this visit. Half of the entrees came out at different times. My husband’s entree and one of the sides came out a good ten minutes after my kids’s and mine came out in between. We were informed it was coming , but there were no expressions of regret or a visit from management which I thought was standard at better dining establishments. The poorly timed delivery meant either some of our food would cool while waiting for the rest or we would have to eat without the rest of our party. My husband had also ordered a second cocktail which never arrived at the table. His meal experience was less than delightful. The wait staff seemed to work somewhat as a team and most of our needs were met by someone other than the young man who took our order, but the service was still less than ideal. On the whole it’s a great space, the food is very good, and the service was polite if less than ideal.

   This was our 3rd visit to Tratto… From the valet through to the dinner staff, the service remains impeccable! Of course, the food was delicious. Tratto has become one of our favorites! Thank you!

   Loved it and will be back. ***** We booked a late table but we called and they said they had walk in tables available and were able to accommodate us when we arrived early.

   Attractive interior amid what looked like a sketchy area with inventive food choices. The two pasta dishes were the stars of the show along with a salmon dish, which was the special of the day. The pork chops were a disappointment-too thin to have much taste and sauce that was too salty. Dessert was a hit with excellent Tiramisu and Americano espresso. Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back.

   Service at Tratto is excellent. Staff was aware of where we were during our dining, bringing out courses and beverages at just the right time- never rushed. The food remains outstanding, simple delicious! The cacio e pepe is the best in the valley!!

    The food is always exquisitely prepared! This restaurant is a hidden gem. I have referred family and friends and will continue to do so.because it’s that good!
