Enjoy European-style cuisine in the Main Dining Room of the Trapp Family Lodge. Open for breakfast and dinner, this expansive, wood-paneled room offers a relaxed, gourmet dining experience complemented with attentive service and beautiful mountain views. Enjoy farm to table ingredients, some of which are raised and harvested right here on our property. Dinner is served in the main dining room and the lounge from 5-9pm nightly. Outdoor patio seating is available seasonally and is weather dependent. On Friday and Saturday nights, the Lounge which offers a relaxed bar setting and an upscale tap room menu is open until 10pm.

Join us for a candlelit dinner in the Main Dining Room or a more casual affair in the Lounge both situated high up on Trapp Hill allowing the perfect view to see the sun set below the mountains. Reservations are required.

Very special night - Brian, our waiter did a great job and made the night perfect. Strongly recommend this experience.

Enjoyed the food. We did the ceaser salad, burgers and fries for dinner and the breakfast buffet the next morning. Service was somewhat slow as it appears they are understaffed but we were overall pleased and would recommend eating in their lodge if you are staying on property.

Wherever you are in Vermont, it’s worth the drive up to the Von Trapp Lodge. This restaurant serves the finest in German and Bavarian cuisine. Excellent views of the Green Mountains and wonderful historical exhibits belonging to the Von Trapp family. Service is stiff but efficient. Highly recommended!

Located in the main lodge, easy to get to from lodge rooms. Ambiance superlative; Austrian design, great views through big picture windows, service attendants dressed in Austrian style. Live piano music, servcie and food excellent.
