You are cordially invited to visit Transfer Pizzeria Café, located in the Harbor District on the corner of 1st and Mitchell Streets. Established in 2008, the namesake is Transfer Pharmacy, a classic cornerstone drugstore from a bygone era that for decades supplied a thriving community with goods and services as evidenced by the stained glass windows still in place. The pharmacy was appropriately named for the constant activity that took place just outside - the boarding, departures, and transfers of the countless daily commuters of the time. The tradition of a reliable cornerstone establishment continues today, as Transfer Pizzeria delivers a unique dose of delicious pizza, drink, atmosphere, and friendly service.

We keep an active wait-list and gladly accommodate walk-ins as part of both our lunch and dinner service.

We had a 530pm reservation and they had the table waiting for us. The service was outstanding as Mike provided answers on questions as well as thoughts on drinks & beers. Pizzas were amazing and they allow for substitutions on specialty pizzas which is awesome. Highly recommend~!

I have eaten at Transfer before and never a bad meal. But last night did so again with a dear friend for my 60th Bday. Our pizza's were fantastic, our waitress was attentive with out being intrusive and she knew our order correctly and checked in to see how the meal was going and refill our drinks. The garlic bread was awesome and the desert was sooooo good(lemon with mascarpone cake. Overall it was an excellent meal with great service. Transfer has been a favorite of mine for sometime and will continue to do so in the future! Thank you.

Our table was ready upon arrival. Our server, Danielle was great. She gave good recommendations and went out of her way to show portion sizes. The pizza was just fine, but not fantastic. The crust needs more flavor. Toppings were good and right amount. Garlic Bread was very garlicky, but cheese not really melted and bread was just sliced French bread, not even toasted. Place was clean and it was easy to talk, yet felt lively.

We loved the food. The service was fabulous, admittedly we went at a quieter time. There were many great options for Gluten Free. Everything was fantastic. We will be back and highly recommend!

The only criticism is have is their Italian sausage. Wish it had more flavor. There seems to have little to no fennel - the flavor that makes it Italian sausage. Salami bruschetta-the best

Our new favorite pizza in Milwaukee! Crust is thicker than we prefer, but we were told and will try to the gluten free option next time as it is reported to be thinner than the standard crust. Great build your own options for toppings.

Transfer Pizzeria Café is consistently excellent. The quality of ingredients, the dedication to detail, variety of pizzas, the service and support and attention from the staff is first rate. The restaurant has great music, local artists, and energetic. Our server, Dani, is very knowledgeable on the menu, friendly, helpful, very efficient. Dani is the best! We Will be back again and again.

GREAT pizza! The individual pizzas are a perfect size, and will satisfy any za craving. The Dill pizza was an amazing surprise- who knew how good dill pickles are on a pizza… The bruschetta salmone appetizer- also delicious.
