Tramonto Kitchen and Bar is a restaurant located on Badgers Brook Estate vineyard in the picturesque Yarra Valley in Victoria's wine region.
Our professional staff and dedicated chefs create mouth-watering seasonal menus using local produce. We understand the increasing need and demand for ethical and sustainable practices in the food and beverage industry. We believe in working with the land and local growers to produce our menus. We pride ourselves on our philosophies,
Ethical
Preference is given to locally sourced and seasonally available produce.
Provenance
We like to know where the food that we serve to you comes from. Working in the Yarra Valley, our chefs take an interest in knowing and meeting with the local farmers to gain an understanding of the production of our food and to ensure animal welfare.
Sustainable
The food that we serve needs to come from a healthy renewable supply and look to also include social, ecological and economic considerations.

The good: menu selection, food (paddle was outstanding), wine (but pricey for venue) and service. Very enjoyable. The bad: Playgound in the driveway is dangerous (and bizarre).

Great food and lunch although I’m sure the chef team are more than capable to offer a menu of more depth than just 3 entree/main. Drinks list was very mainstream but plenty of options. The $40 charge for children’s pasta and ice cream was laughable.

The main courses were excellent however, two of us had the tiramisu and were rather disappointed. The sticky date pudding, on the other hand was excellent. This is our second visit to Tramonto and, unfortunately, did not quite match up to our first visit.

I could easily spend an entire afternoon just dining and chatting while sampling more of the local product Food was amazing and beautifully prepared . A hidden gem

Our Fathers Day lunch was superb thanks to the lovely team at Tramonto! The floor staff were great, excellent care with only 2 of them looking after a busy lunch. The food was heavenly, beautiful fresh ingredients that were cooked to perfection. We had a birds eye view of the pass, and it was a pleasure to watch a small team do what they do best. Amazing timing, presentation and the food tasted delicious. The kids enjoyed it, and we left feeling very satisfied and happy. Thank you!

We had a very nice lunch, the food was great. Would definitely recommend the restaurant to our friends. Will go again.

We were at Tramonto last Friday for my daughters birthday, we ordered the Vegetable platter and the cheese platter to share. We love to eat platter food and i think we have tried most out in the Yarra Valley. Tramontos platters were outstanding and i think i have to say this would be the first time we have not been able to finish them, even with a bit of help from my husband. My husband ordered the chilli mussels and again he said they were the nicest he had ever had. So a big shout out to Tramonto, we will definately be back
