Unremarkable and therefore a bit over priced. Food was fine. Waitress was fine. We were in a very small dining room, which was fine. The $14, 6oz Brussel sprout appetizer was good.

Has potential. Atmosphere is fine except with the front tables looking at the gas station pumps literally right outside. Pasta was good, salmon was over-cooked. To nice a place to use glassware and wine stemware that you buy at Job Lots; Thick cheap wine glasses detracts from a good wine flavor. Service was fine.

Our dishes were nothing memorable; we had the Shepherds Pie and Rigatoni with Meatballs; the winter salad was good. An annoying paper tablecloth draped in diamond form caused annoying crumpling every time we shifted in our chairs until we finally folded the corners underneath. Worst of all was annoying, completely inappropriate rock/pop music blaring from the bar/bakery section.

The people who wait tables at trails end are wonderful. But they always have too few waiters or perhaps too small a kitchen. It usually takes more than an hour to get ones food. The food is good, but the wait is really unusually long.

Trails End Cafe is a wonderful place: really good, affordable food in a convenient location, and with a relaxed atmosphere. Our server was great, the beer list is fantastic, and the experience was terrific all around.

I would recommend breakfast or lunch at Trails End, but I didn’t have a good experience with dinner there, unfortunately neither the food or the service was great.

I have been to Trail’s End many times for lunch and dinner, and have loved it. The food and service have always been great and the bartender on Thursday night is fabulous, but I was a bit disappointed in the brunch. My apple cinnamon French toast was quite mushy as if the inside hadn’t quite quite cooked enough. The menu said it came with bacon, but mine didn’t. When the waitress asked what I wanted for a side, I said fruit, thinking that was in addition, not instead. I shared my friend’s bacon since she got two sides. Our waitress was quite lovely and did a good job of serving.
