Did not like the flat bread, very dry. No flavor. Nice ambiance. Pricey.
It was great but felt a little awkward as we were literally the only 2 people in the entire restaurant over a weekend lunch hour. More marketing!
Went on Memorial Day. Extremely friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, hot, and plentiful. Recommend the sweet potatoes tots, The Traditions Burger, Chicken Cesar wrap, and salad bar was 5 star. Will be back often.
They we under staffed and over worked. One dish
was over cooked and one was under cooked and had to be sent back. The only positive feedback is the giant pretzel was great.
I am so sorry about your experience. It is our goal to ensure that our guests leave happy and excited to return. We know that at times of high volume, like Notre Dame Commencement, we may miss an opportunity to make it right for each guest. For that, we really appreciate your honest feedback. We would like to invite you to return, and enjoy an experience on us. Please reach out to Jessica Reno directly to make arrangements when you are ready, and we will be here to make it right! 574-220-1063
We had a party of 10 for my son's graduation. The restaurant has a nice vibe to it and we were pleased all the way around, except the service needed some work. I know they are relatively new, but I would think the kinks would have been worked out by now. I would definitely go there again, though, and would recommend it to others.
The food was delicious and the service was great! They accommodated are large party without any hesitation!
best Sunday buffet I've experienced in quite a while. Top Notch.
Mother's Day Brunch was not good. Food was OK, service was bad.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. For the price, the food is fairly decent. The only thing that detracts from the experience was the fact that it was close to impossible to reach the restaurant. The number listed on Opentable and on their own website goes straight to voicemail. I learnt, eventually, that you have to call embassy suite to get redirected, and that was quite frustrating.
Great service, accommodated 11 people for a last minute lunch! Will definitely be returning.
We went on a very busy night after the Blue-Gold game and before the Tim McGraw concert. It was very busy, and though the service was not fast, it was still quite good considering the crowd. More importantly, all the servers had a great attitude and displayed great teamwork.
Draft list is really good as is the bottled beer selection. The food exceeded my expectations, especially given the limited menu for that day. We had a big table so we tried almost everything. The street corn potatoes/nachos are a must as are the sweet potato tots and the cheesy fried pickles. The chili cheese fries weren't that great and the pretzel was a little dry.
Overall, I'd recommend this place as a great pre-Notre Dame event meal location, especially with a larger group.
Two friends and I like to try new restaurants, so we gave Traditions a shot. It was OK until some one cranked up the music. They we couldn't hear each other. It really spoiled the meal.
When I got there I told the manager that we were parked in the garage on Eddy St. and that we would staying more than two hours and could he assure us that we could get out if/when we stayed over two hours. The Manager gave us three plastic cards and said we would have no trouble getting out of the garage after two hours.
When two of us got back to the garage, the card didn't work and two of us had to pay $3 to get out. One of my friends parked on the street. It's not the money, it's the principle of the thing,
We loved it and the food was tasty. We enjoyed the fish tacos and sweet potatoes fries. They were amazing. The service was great and our server was very friendly. It was a nice atmosphere and will be even more fun in the summer when they open up the large windows to the outside.
We went with a large group of 13. We booked the table on OT about 10 minutes before we showed up and it was ready for us. Staff was pleasant, food was good, only encountered a couple issues. The fries were a little cold when they came out—somewhat understandable considering we were a group of 13 and they brought the food out all at the same time. Still, yummy fries but would have been better warm. They also forgot about one order of soup and so we were waiting on one person’s meal for an extra 5 minutes or so.
We were a group of 18 so we were the noise level! Traditions did an excellent job accomodating our growing group providing space for mixing and mingling for drinks before sitting down for dinner. Our server was outstanding (TJ) as were the rest of the staff. The menu provides a good range of options while not being an overwhelming number of choices. Once they dimmed the lights, the ambience was perfect.
Really good food. Nice atmosphere. Pork chop was awesome! Filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Cut it with my fork.
The service was exceptional. We had 3-4 people waiting and checking on us including the Food & Beverage manager. The food was good. We will go back to try other food items. The atmosphere is nice and open.
Chicken tenders were not cooked through. Grilled cheese was cold and one person at our table didn’t get her food until everyone was done eating.
