Our server was nice, attentive (but not too attentive), and friendly. When we first arrived, the noise level wasn't too bad no one had to shout to be heard however as the restaurant filled up, we found ourselves having to shout to be heard. The food was really good and the drinks were tasty and creative.
Food quality overall seems to have gone downhill. The restaurant is busier now since Covid restrictions lifted - maybe that’s it?? Def not as good as it was - as an example, we ordered a side of bacon and we received a paper boat of overcooked/burnt pieces. Also - how do you run out of Diet Coke?
Brunch was great. Tator tots were so good as well. Rebecca was an awesome server. We had a great experience in a nice venue!
Good food service was good
The major issue was the quality of the food. All of the meats were overcooked and dry. We ordered the lamb belly, brisket and chicken. The brisket was so dry we could not easily cut into it.
Bad management. That’s the only excuse I can think of for why the service was so bad. The food was really pretty good. We arrived 10 min early but weren’t seating for over 30 min. Then sat forgotten for 10 when one of the two hostesses slung us water. The exasperated waitress finally arrived who I think was the only one for both inside and outside.
We sat for over 40 minutes before we even got a drink! Our server was not liking her job too much! Rolled her eyes when asked for another coke or extra butter! They all seamed out of touch with customers and seamed very overwhelmed! Music was too loud and we say outside! The hostess were the only bright spot as they seamed to care about their guest!
Loved our host! Great service!
It was during the sixers game 7 when we lost. 😩
This is a new place in Central City Philadelphia. The place is nice. The food is good. The only gripe I have is the ribs needs more seasoning otherwise everything is good.
Extremely poor service, the meat is good, but sauces are well below average. Plus they are too cheap to get occupied locks for the personal bathrooms which makes going to the bathroom unnecessarily difficult. And those bathrooms are desperately in need of cleaning. I do not recommend this place for a meal.
Now that I have been there, I know that I am not the targeted demographic for this restaurant. More pictures on the website might make it clearer, but not certain about that. Trademan's is actually more of a bar, even though the food was pretty good. My husband and I, 60-somethings, were the only people there over maybe 35-ish, most younger. The music was very loud, even at noon. The back was really cold, the front was all high-tops. I didn't feel overly clean, and someone was still cleaning bathrooms downstairs from what had obviously been a busy Friday night, again at noon on Saturday.
I personally would never go again, but honestly, I recommended it to my daughter.
The waitstaff was very friendly and effective.. wish I could remember our waitress name. She was fantastic
I love to support local restaurants, and rarely offer a bad review. Unfortunately, that is not the case for our experience at Tradesman's Philadelphia. We were celebrating two birthdays, and we were a party of five. When we were seated at the table the first thing we noticed was that the top was broken off the base and wobbled , so we needed to be re-seated. Unfortunately, the food we ordered was inedible for four out of five of us. The taste of the meat was rancid and freezer burned, and the chips we got with our dip were stale. The crisped onions on top of the caramelized Brussels sprouts were also stale. Four of us ate a single bite of our meal, and could not eat any more of what was presented to us. We literally made reservations at another restaurant for the evening while sitting at the table waiting for the manager to come over. Kudos to the manager for removing the food from the bill. We also had no complaints about our server, but I feel for both her and the manager given the poor quality of the food they have to provide to customers.
Our reservation was supposed to be ins
Great food with an excellent selection of drinks and beers.
Loved it here! Great food, great service!
Great gathering spot! Good BBQ! Music, sports and drinks a plus.
It was a freaking ice box in there
Our server was outstanding. They were definitely busy and food and drinks took a bit to get out, but tasted good.
Bottomless mimosas were great! But Brunch menu has little options in my opinion. But our server Peyton was great!
We did not have a great experience. Service left much to be desired. We had to ask for water multiple times and could not get more than 1-2 cups at a time for a party of 8. Any special requests were treated as strong inconveniences and no effort was made to make the party feel welcome.
Carly was our server, she was awesome. Our food was delicious and my Bloody Mary was excellent! Loved the chill atmosphere along with the choice of music. Brunch was perfect! Can’t wait to come back with my friends!
Amazing Happy Hour!!
Friendly but slow service. They were out of half of the menu on a Tuesday.
We were a bit disappointed. The food was just ok. Nothing really stood out. I think they were really short handed because the service was really slow. On the positive side, the outdoor dining set up is awesome.
Everything was awesome great service and my server she was very nice and polite
The three tables of young men who had ordered "bottomless mimosas" were very tough to sit next to. Very loud.
The food was okay. It was noisy. It is a bar with food.
Love it , the food was amazing. Drinks were good too.
Poor service and the food was very dry and bland.
Great food, great service, awesome vibe!
Incredibly slow service for mediocre food and experience. Will not be back and would not recommend.
be careful of bottomless mimosas...
Everything was great the staff was super nice me and my friend will be back soon
Had a great time at Tradesman's! The barbecue was delicious and the staff was very friendly!
Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating! Can’t recommend enough!
Brunch was amazing for started bottomless mimosas 🙌🏽 can't go wrong, we ate brisket eggs Benedict which was melt in your mouth good brisket was made perfectly and tender!!! After our second bottom of mimosa we tried the maple siracha wings and wasn't disappointed can't wait until next Sunday.
Casual and fun. Outside seating was fun atmosphere. Love the picnic tables with plastic between the tables and TV for each table
We had a great time, we were kicked out of restaurant right when our time was up. Our waitress kept asking for our table when we hadn’t finished our bottomless mimosas yet. The food was very good it was just our waitress
