   I didn’t realize on Sunday they only have pizza. We made the best of it and had a great time and good pizza. We will be back for the weekly menu another day. Gotta see what that fried chicken is about :)

   The service was slow and they were not busy at all. The food was not like it use to be, was not good at all. Not worth what we paid! I don’t think we will go back. Which is sad because Paris doesn’t have many sit down restaurants that aren’t Mexican.

   This was our second time visiting Trackside. Because we we have been very intentional about where we eat and spend our date nights, I want to give an honest review. From the beginning, the hostess started by saying she would be right with us and disappearing. We waited for a couple minutes until she returned and said there was a 20 minute wait. She did not ask if we had a reservation which we did. Once at our table, we decided to order the country ham biscuit appetizer which we had remembered fondly from our first visit. It is $10 for one biscuit. I believe last time it was two, but we got it anyway & split it in half. Entrees: I ordered the fried chicken with two breasts (which is a menu option) so I could take one home. This is exactly what I did last time. However I was served one breast and two chicken tenders. I notified the server that I ordered the two breasts and she walked away with my plate without saying a word. She returned shortly with the same plate and said it would be 10 min to make another breast which I said was fine. It never came, she didn’t come back to check on us. Once she did, she realized I hadn’t gotten it so without a word she darted away to the kitchen. I saw her and someone in a chefs apron conversing at the door and ultimately I was told it wasn’t done and would be 10 more min. We did get it finally and I feel we were very patient. No manager came to speak with us to apologize, no discount was provided. We paid and left. It was not the best experience for us.

   Very good experience. Ambience is very nice. Fireplaces throughout. The owner of the restaurant even came out to check on the food and the experience.

   Trackside is quite a gem for Paris KY! A unique ambience and consistent, good food. Salmon (blackened) salad 🥗 is my #1 favorite!

   What an adorable and delicious dining experience. It was a holiday break treat for sure! The beignets are as good as you’ll find in Nola!
