Trabocco brings something new and exciting to Alameda. Chef-owner, Giuseppe Naccarelli presents a seasonally inspired menu of classic Italian dishes with a modern twist, influenced by the cuisine of his native region of Abruzzo.
A Trabocco is a unique fishing pier found along the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo. Architect and Designer Lev Weisbach of Weisbach Architecture|Design was inspired by the beautiful Trabocchi of Abruzzo when he created his spectacular design. With its reclaimed wood ceilings, dramatic copper encased fireplace, and modern bar Trabocco is warm and welcoming yet strikingly dramatic and modern.

Trabbocco continues to maintain high quality food and service in a charming ambiance. The Wood grilled chicken, seafood pasta and Messo e Messo were as good or even better than on previous occasions. Loved it!

Absolutely love the food, butternut ravioli’s are amazing as well as the fish and steak. The owner, Giuseppe is fabulous, makes you feel right at home.

Love this place but if I had one critique it would be their plating of the dishes. It's not very artistic or easy to consume. For example, I ordered the half of duck and it came in one piece vs. cutting it up in smaller pieces so it can be easier to eat. The polenta and spinach could have been plated nicer...the plate came in 3 sections - protein, starch and veggie. I could have done that at home.

You would never know there is a such a gem tucked away in a shopping center.
Once inside, the deco and ambience transforms the space into a special dining experience.
Food, service and attention to detail will make this a go to spot whenever I'm craving
some wood fired roasting. The chicken is delicious!

The food was nice, however our waitress seemed very annoyed and frustrated. My partner is somewhat picky with her food, but that doesn’t excuse the attitude she had. The restaurant was full, and that may have added to the stress. However, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, as well as the overall presentation of the establishment and plates were wonderful. If it were not for the experience with this one waitress, I would have given it a near perfect score. 8/10

This great local restaurant never fails! Food and service are always outstanding!! Location (at the So Shore Mall) makes for easy parking and access to the restaurant! Atmosphere and decor also add to a great experience!

The restaurant is lovely, the food and service are exceptional.. We have had dinner before but did not remember the space being SO loud. My friend and I had a difficult time having a real conversation.
I would hesitate going for dinner again except maybe earlier in the week. I would also try again for lunch.

Great stop for Italian in Alameda, varied selection of great Appetizers, Salads, Pizza and authentic pasta and seafood selections. Worth a visit, service was excellent and wine selection fun and interesting.

The service was excellent and our server brought out a tiramisu to celebrate both my friends’ birthdays with Happy Birthday written on the plate. We ordered a beet salad, oxtail ravioli and spicy sausage pizza to share among the three of us. They also serve you sparkling and non-sparkling water along with bread and a plate of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

The beet salad was tasty and refreshing, oxtail ravioli was A-ok but I could not taste the oxtail and pizza was on the spicy side. The best was the dessert the tiramisu was rich and creamy
