My friend and I celebrated our February birthdays since we couldn’t celebrate in February. We were seated outside where there were plenty of heaters, and tables were set far apart. The server was delightful, and the meals were delicious - we both ordered the steak. When I made the reservation I had indicated that we were celebrating our belated birthdays, so after we were done with dinner, the owner - Giuseppe brought out a beautifully decorated platter with 2 pieces of tiramisu - one on each end of the platter along with a candle fir each - and proceeded to sing happy birthday to us! Thank you Trabocco and Giuseppe for creating a special evening for me and my friend!!!

Trabocco is a known good! When service is available, we dine there almost every week, and have had everything on the menu. Can't make a bad choice here. Service, food, wine, cocktails, are dessert all excellent!! I always start off with their Basil Martini, just melts the stress away with every sip. And Chef stopping by to say hi is always a treat. We are customers for life!

Great as always

Both the food and the service were superb. The timing of the dishes was perfect. We each had a salad, a main course, and dessert. Food appeared when we wanted it without having to ask. It did not come before we wanted it nor did we have to wait. My companion wanted one of the appetizers served over pasta -- not a problem. The waiter only asked what kind of pasta she wanted.

Food order was delayed because the waiter forgot to get the order going. I’m sure this a one off because we have been here many times BC and had excellent service.

Food was excellent, service was slow and inattentive. Would still recommend, maybe waitstaff are getting their bearings as we emerge from Covid-19 lockdowns.

Waiter was extremely rude throughout dinner

Just tasted like a poor Italian chain. Ordered cocktails, pasta, and carpaccio and nothing was good. It was on the same level as Olive Garden.

Everyone who works there is lovely and the food is always consistently great.

The food and the service were superb, as always. However, we were cold and uncomfortable on the extended patio, unfortunately. The table was icy to the touch and too small, the folding chairs uncomfortable and awkward to move, the heaters too far from my chair to be felt. Food got cold quickly. Just so folks now who are planning something special. It was our wedding anniversary and we were expecting something a little more elegant, having eaten there many times, including on the inner patio with the bar, which is much nicer.

This is my favorite restaurant and continues to be my favorite! The food is delicious and quality is always consistent! We always order all of the desserts on the menu when we dine here!

How wonderful to be outside, warm and in Alameda’s finest dining venue! Surrounded by chatter in a safe environment with laughter and people talking accompanied by a great partner, great food, wine and at Giuseppe and Christine’s great restaurant. I wanted to stand up and toast them for the great dining experience they create on the Island.

Trabocco is our go to restaurant for fine Italian food in the San Francisco East Bay area. Their wood fired oven enhances their fish and meat dishes. Their pizzas are traditional Neapolitan style, thin crust, wood fired with an excellent selection of toppings. Their bolognese sauce is outstanding and my wife's favorite. They also have a nice wine selection featuring local wines by the glass and Italian by the bottle and glass. Also their specialty cocktails are creative and feature some of our fine Alameda distillery spirits. Their outdoor seating during Covid is comfortable, well spaced, and warm due to the use of lots of outdoor heaters. We've never been disappointed.

Food was on point! I ordered the Panino Salmon. Salmon. The salmon was grilled to perfection and the entree came with a nice salad and french fries. My guest ordered the salmon special which was a nice piece of salmon with a salad and polenta. The ambiance was great since it was a nice quiet Tuesday afternoon. Guiseppe's food is always fresh and the portion sizes are great. We ordered his fabulous tiramisu for dessert. The food and quality never disappoints.

The lamb was gamey and there was no rum in the tiramisu. The coffee was cold and mediocre-blend.

Have always had good meals here. Unfortunately, this last time my steak, although correctly cooked was very tough.

Great as always. They really thought about social distancing with how they arranged their tables outside. Hope to be able to come in a month when the restrictions are lifted.

Great experience durning these times. We are spaced out and kept warm by the heaters. They have have this down durning this time. Cannot wait to come back.
