Food and service excellent always
Excellent meal and service.
This was a really fantastic experience. Great food awesome service. Beet salad, fish, pork belly great stuff. Give the lamb appetizer a miss.
Awesome service by Pedro and our server. They knew we were in a hurry.
Enjoy going to Trabocco. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the wait staff is efficient and personable. The food is always tasty and comforting. I've brought several of my friends there and they all had a pleasant dining experience.
Wonderful restaurant! Food and service are outstanding. As an "older" person, I would appreciate a lower noise level; conversations can sometimes be hard to hear. However, that won't stop me from dining with you.
Always a wonderful meal, ambiance, service...a little pricey, but worth it!
Yum. Great meal, great staff and very charming chef/owner
Great experience, Trabocco is a must to go back to.
Love this restaurant! The chef and all the waitstaff are exceptional as is the food! Everything I want from a fine dining experience-fabulous food, selection and service!
The best restaurant in Alameda!
Trabocco is one of the best venues in Alameda for an up-scale night out. The food is incredible. Drink choices are satisfying. The owner will greet you personally, typically. This particular night we were seated by an exit door, which is probably the least appealing seat in the place, but still service excellent, food great, and they accommodate pretty much any request. Highly recommend.
Each visit is a great experience. Wonderful food, A+ service, reasonable prices, easy no cost parking. We always leave Trabocco happy!
This restaurant was good but not great. My fiancé and I had the steak and homemade pasta. It was decent all around. The service could have been better, we were not asked if we wanted more drinks. The server was a bit hard to hear and often mumbled little comments under his breath towards other patrons. This restaurant is akin to a non-chain cheesecake factory.
Fabulous local restaurant, in a shopping mall means easy parking! Birthday celebrations happening all over the restaurant is indicative of it's "specialness" however we go as a couple for a late night dinner anytime of the week and it's great. Delicious food and friendly staff, I always have an enjoyable meal at Trabocco.
This was a birthday gathering for a special friend. The food was great & the service very attentive. Giuseppe, the owner made a special visit to the table to wish our guest Happy birthday. Very nice!
Great dinner, excellent service!
Food was just ok. Portions about right but quality lacking for what is supposed to be a high end Italian dining experience. Server's accent was so strong it was virtually impossible to understand the several specials available that evening.
Good overall service and nice ambiance. Owner visiting tables is a nice touch.
Still a nice place but quality to price ratio is off. One expects more.
A+++ ...food was awesome. The Butternut Squash Pasta was awesome and the Oxtail Ravioli was just as good. Service was superior! Can't wait to go back!
We enjoyed an amazing lunch at Trabocco. Great ambiance, incredible service and the food was impeccable. We would return again without hesitation.
The food was great. The service was a bit slow this time. Usually that is not the case.
Overall great restaurant. Perfect for any date or night out with your friends!
Great food! Had the fettuccine (fresh pasta made in-house!) bolognese, burrata & beet salad. Everything was perfect & yummy! One of my friend's did have an issue with her food but they were quick to fix it without any argument.
The chef/owner is super nice & friendly! He pays special attention to all his customers and stops by each table at least once throughout your visit.
Other service was just okay this time. I've been here before & never had a problem though. We had reservations but had to still wait 20-30 mins. It wasn't their fault as the table before us paid but refused to leave in a timely manner. But it was still a little annoying to have my large party just stand there that long waiting. I didn't really care for our waitress. She could never hear anything we were saying & she was a little off. I'm not sure how to explain it but she I guess she had a little attitude. She wasn't rude but just kinda fake or not friendly. And she wasn't really around much to check up on us. Our busboy, on the other hand, was amazing! We joked about why we couldn't just have him instead of her, haha! We tried to utilize him whenever we could and he was awesome!
I would definitely go back though because the food is always good. And prior to this, service had never been a problem.
It was delicious. From the hand crafted cocktails to the hand crafted pizza's!!!
I’ve dined here many times with my family in the past. I’m disappointed to report that the restaurant isn’t how it used to be. I had a 9:15pm reservation, arrived on time and still had to wait 25 minutes even though there were two 4 top tables they could have pushed together for our party of 5. I mean, it was past 9:30pm, and there were plenty of other tables open. They shouldn’t have had their customers wait so long when tables were available.
The food was really really slow to come out, and when it did, it was luke warm. The flavor is still there, which is great, but I’d appreciate it if I was served hot food. Also, the kids chicken strip didn’t come out the same time as everyone else’s food. The kids were famished by the time the food arrived.
Edward made was amazing, thank you. Kudos to chef (crab cakes) out of bounds. Ambiance was mediocre, seating arrangements felt like a speed dating scenario. Hard not listen to these convos when they’re almost literally seating at your table. Let’s just hope humans don’t offend their neighbors with touchy conversation
We had a wonderful experience. Had two moms with walkers and hearing aids. Everyone was so accommodating. Food was wonderful as always. As was service.
The food was fantastic enjoyed the octopus caprese salad and a pork entrée
Asked for a table, no booth, and was placed in a booth. same waitress served everyone in the restaurant. Took us time to ask for something Waitress did not bring our meals, a kitchen aid did. not happy with the experience. Will not return
Delicious meal as usual...did prix fixed menu which was very good,,,.noise level higher than usual...
Very relaxed dining with attentive, non-intrusive pro staff.
Went for restaurant week. $40 4 course menu was an excellent deal. Service was good. Enjoyed everything we had.
Outstanding in every way!!! Enjoyed the four course special during Alameda Restaurant Week for only $40. A great deal for great food such as crab cakes, pork belly and professional service. Topped it off with a spicy pizza made by chef owner Giuseppe himself. The bar makes some pretty mean cocktails too.
I had ordered the vegi pizza it did not have much taste , I have eaten there other times and the food was great.
Great Food And Time
Great restaurant with nice ambiance and delicious food. Really appreciate that the portion sizes here are generous!
This gem of a restaurant was bustling when we arrived early for our reservation. We were immediately served a libation at the bar and the wonderful hostess came to seat us when our table was ready. Though the restaurant space is large, I was easily able to hear my dinner companion and not the other diners. Our server made wonderful suggestions for both wine and the meal. Everything was excellent! Both the owner, Giuseppe Naccarelli and his charming wife, Christine, personally came to our table to greet us and make certain we were happy with our experience. This place is top notch and well-worth the drive! (We came from Portola Valley) I highly recommend Trabocco!
This is our favorite place to bring friends. The food is always good, staff are friendly and the atmosphere very inviting. I would not hesitate to come back again and again. We're never disappointed and the restaurant is the best in the East Bay.
Always deliciousness at Trabocco. Enjoyed the prix fixe Restaurant week menu...
Really loud and dark.
Dodd was good and service very good but could talk to dinner companions
