You need reservation! and enjoy the greatest smoky grilled beef!
Service was terrible and argumentative. Ordered a steak and it had to be re-made 3 times before we finally asked to cancel the order so we could leave. Server was not apologetic and manager blamed the overcooked food on bad lighting in the kitchen. Worst dining experience in a long time, all the food is underwhelming at best, with no commitment to a good service.
I could tell that the mashed potatoes and polenta had been reheated, and were definitely canned. My boyfriends steak was literally raw in the middle. (Advice, do not request medium rare). Service was good.
First off I love this place! The bar prices are great and the items on the happy hour menu are excellent!
Ate in the kitchen. Took too long for food and drinks.
Service is so slow and only 2 people working, which includes bartenders..... we are waiting
Food was below average, cold chips. Generally not worth the money. Service was slow. Didn’t have the dessert because “they hadn’t perfected it yet” - why have it on the menu?
Brunch is not offered as advertised online
Good food and generally good service. However kitchen brought out our mains when we were still eating our starters. Waiter apologised and made it up to us.
In Waikiki for work. Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn which is the connected to the restaurant. Table for 1.
Read a lot of mixed reviews. Was very pleasantly surprised by the food. I had the Cedar Plank Opah. Perfectly cooked, well flavoured and moist.
The vegetables were also great.
Not the cheapest but comparable to most in the area.
I’d recommend giving it a try
We had a group of 12 people on a Monday night, so they weren't crowded. It was great that we could make a reservation through Open Table. They did separate checks for each family, which was sincerely appreciated. They didn't rush us and we had lots of time to visit. The food was fine and the price was pretty typical for Waikiki. I had a Harvest Salad that had teeny tiny pieces of asparagus in it.
We decided on this restaurant because of the menu but found out their brunch menu was no longer offered and the lunch menu was scaled down to a third of what we expected. The dinner menu was not available except for a couple of items. What saved the meal was the happy hour drink and happy hour menu that was available from 11:00am. On the other hand, everything we ordered was delicious and good quantities. I told the server that they should update their Open Table menu and she appeared offended. Though the food was delicious our choices were limited and we would not have chosen the restaurant based on their actual menu
Was a little nervous since we read mixed reviews but we thought it was pretty good :)
Toughest ribeye ever. Expected this place to be expert on grilling, we ordered medium well and came out very rare and meat very tough and chewy.
We got seated quickly, our server was nice, my friends appetizer was delicious, but my entree of the flank steak wasn’t great and the price was too much for what it was.
Ate at bar and she was great
We originally saw the restaurant when we were walking down the street. It looked lively and fun from the outside. We stopped and checked out the menu and thought, "kinda pricey for the neighborhood". We then saw it on open tabIle and since it was raining out and it was close to our hotel we decided to check it out. Our server was super friendly. The restaurant was actually part of a hotel, which you can't tell from the front. I asked the hostess where the restrooms were and she said she had to take me and unlock the door because the hotel only gives them two keys!!!!! Never mind, I didn't want to drag her away from her "job" to go to the bathroom with me. They don't have any vegan choices on their menu. I tried to make something work and ended up with a boring salad. The menu on open table was NOT the menu at the restaurant. My husband had a burger and it was fine. Not special. We won't go back. Too many other choices. Top it off they didn't acknowledge our reservation on open table so I had to go thru the hassle of proving my reservation myself. Frustrating!
Good price for tasty foods!
Good place for resonable dinner.
Very good food at the restaurant connected to a the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki. Had an entree-size salad and opah, a very tender fish. Engaging service by all staff.
Had a nice time, food was really good and we liked the place very much. Nathalia, our server, is a very good employee and was very mindful of us and providing for all our needs. Only had one issue where the site says they have a brunch menu for Saturday and Sunday and we were told only a fixed menu was available...otherwise everything was just fine.
Booked for NYE - found out that they had another NYE function organised which was at additional cost to our booking. Very rushed meal as they tried to move out all the diners and replace with finger food function customers - quite disappointing really. The food itself was quite tasty but the service and lack of ambience destroyed the memory.
They were out of salad and out of fish.
In all fairness the manager did come over to our table and apologize and also offered a free meal.
li was good
Busy Xmas eve crowded place. Service ok...understaffed. Water glasses soapy so water tasted bad. Meal not prepared as ordered. Some (8 of us) had ok dinners, some not happy at all. Hotel restaurant, so expectations were not too high...it was an ok experience overall considering the circumstances.
Food was Great!
If I️ could give this restaurant 0 stars... I️ would. We arrived at 645 and happy hour ran until 7. When we ordered beer from the happy hour menu, the waiter left and came back a half hour later and told us they were out of the beer we ordered and happy hour was over. He proceeded to not acknowledge us or let us order for another 15-20 minutes. Right as we were about to get up and leave he finally took our order. The service was horrendous at best. If you want to have a horrible and expensive experience this place is for you. I️ will never go back.
We had a nice dinner here. I had the Pris fixe menu with a wonderful beef filet with Bordelaise sauce. The wine selection was good and the bartender decanted a nice Tempranillo. Service was good and attentive.
We booked this restaurant and the food was AMAZING!!! The Mac & Cheese is a must, absolutely the nicest I’ve ever had dining out! Flat breads were delicious also. Service was a little slow. When we arrived with our party of 8 we were seated next to the kitchen which was too hot, we asked to move as it was cooler throughout the rest of the restaurant and we were moved on high top bench seats near the front of the restaurant. Not a great seating area for children as my 7 year old Niece fell off her seat and landed on the ground. Our initial server gave us to another server and we waited sometime to order until our new server was deligated to us.
Its our honeymoon night data. i think we get the great time in this restrant. thx for open table make us be happy^^
