   While visiting from NYC, we were craving high quality sushi. We are so glad we found this restaurant. Amazing that they have such a huge selection of fresh Japanese fish in Puerto Rico. From the various fatty bluefin tuna options to the amazing Japanese sea urchin, it was all amazing! Quality on par with what you would eat at a high end sushi restaurants in Manhattan . We will surely dine here again the next time we visit Puerto Rico.

   Another great meal at toyosu. Best, sushi on the island hands down. Fish was incredibly fresh, perfect temperature. Superb from start to finish

   It’s such a treat to find high-quality sushi in Puerto Rico, and Toyosu delivers on every level. We thoroughly enjoyed the unique and creative offerings like Mikan Madai (orange-flavored sea bream) and Mikan Buri (orange-flavored yellowtail), each bite bursting with freshness and delicate flavor. The toro tasting was nothing short of exquisite—silky, rich, and unforgettable. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about the origin, flavor profile, and preparation of each Japanese fish—we learned something new with every course. All of it was perfectly complemented by a great selection of Japanese Daiginjo sake. I’ve explored sushi spots all across the island, and I can say with full confidence: nothing else comes close. Don’t waste your time anywhere else—Toyosu is the place!

    Absolutely perfect in every way. The sushi rolls were really well composed and great quality fish. Love the small dining room and intimate experience. Hard to believe we were in San Juan.

   Absolutely incredible! This restaurant serves the highest quality sushi in Puerto Rico—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The vibe is cozy and elegant with amazing background music enhancing the dining experience. The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. Everything was flawless. I highly recommend Toyosu!

   Very nice different experience in Puerto Rico with authentic sushi rolls . Try the sushi lovers sample and yellowtail sampler as well.

   Not to be missed! The fish was amazing, best sushi we have ever had. And the wagyu was perfect. The service was excellent, and we will definitely be back on our next trip to San Juan!
