Very busy night because of holiday celebrations- however our service and attendance from our waiter, Anthony was very good & enjoyable.

It took forever for a beverage to be delivered. Food took longer. We missed our train as a result

I've been to this restaurant a few times, and the current menu is leaning more toward bar food than loop restaurant. Really really loud around dinner time. Probably good for lunch or partying 20-somethings, but not for a nice dinner before opera!

While the food was excellent, the restaurant was so cold, again, that it totally distracts from everything else. My friend and I both wore our winter coats throughout the meal. This is the third time I've been there during the winter months and I won't be back until it's warmer. It's just too uncomfortable.

I booked this restaurant on a holiday trip to Chicago. We enjoyed delicious and stacked burgers and a few drinks as well. It is well located just a short distance from Willis Tower and the atmosphere was reasonably quiet being a Monday evening. I would definitely recommend especially for the burgers.

The food on the online menu looked AWESOME!!! ...which, unfortunately, just means that they have a great photographer.

In reality, the place was too noisy to have a meaningful business conversation, the food was mediocre at best, and the server - although working her tail off - was covering far too many tables to be prompt and attentive.

As to the food... the Jambalaya was watery and insubstantial with very little flavor and seriously over-cooked shrimp. The crab cake sandwich was dry and also lacking in flavor.

Lunch for two certainly did not FEEL like $70 for two... but, with tip (I said she was working hard), it sure was.

Sadly, I would not come back or recommend others to this place. Which is a bummer since I work a block away in the Willis tower and often entertain staff and clients.

The service and food were both generally good. I was impressed the the brisket flatbread we ordered was fairly delicious. It seems like every restaurant offers a "flatbread" nowadays, and most of them aren't any good at all. Both my date and I had salads. The steak on hers was rarer than she ordered, and the chicken on mine was a little dry and not too flavorful. The Swiss chocolate chalet cake for dessert was easily some of the best cake I've ever had (even though our waitress pronounced it "Swiss chocolate shallot").

Great little find in the near west loop area. Had their daily special, which was a mediterranean quinoa and was fabulous! Healthy, fresh and good. Attentive service, and a welcome addition to the mix of usual suspect luncheon spots in the loop. Was very suitable for my business luncheon. Also, nice energy without it being too loud.

Super duper COLD. Most people were wearing their coats. Food was lukewarm not hot. Drinks were good. Service good except hard to hear. It made for a bad combination.

Our sandwiches were pricey because we ordered green beans with our meal rather than french fries and $7 extra per sandwich was added onto the price of the sandwich when we substituted!
My crab cake sandwich was more expensive than every "large plate" main dish on the menu except one!

The food is always very fresh and tasteful! The server was very friendly when he did appear. Had to wait a bit to put in my order. Not the place to go for quiet conversation but definitely the place for a lively crowd!

The place closes down way too early. It was barely 1:30pm, when the wait staff and management began stacking tables, and closing up for the day. It didn't really help the vibe, as we felt a bit chased out (and were the last table to leave - and it was only 2pm by then).

Not going to lie, food was better than I thought it was going to be. Sometimes restaurants downtown get away with so-so food/service just because they can with constant foot traffic. Chicken wings, dope. Service, friendly. Good lunch spot.

A little noisier that we had expected. If rain weren't in the forecast we would have sat outside, which may have helped. The spot is convenient for a business lunch. Looks like a good place to grab a drink after work.

It was a nice day so we sat outside. Service was prompt and neither of us was ever short of Lake Michigan's finest H2O. We both had salads which were good but both were overdressed. We agreed that we'd probably ask for the dressing on the side next time. It was a little pricey ($35 for the 2 salads) but we'll be back.

Overall, I thought TownHouse was pretty good. The food was really tasty and our server was really friendly. The downfall was the fact that they told me they tried calling to let me know there was a private event later that evening (we came for a late lunch -- 1:30 pm) when in fact, they did not call because I did not have a missed call or a voicemail from the restaurant. The other downfall was that they marked me as a no-show through Open Table even though I did show up with my full party.

The restaurant is very loud. We had a difficult time hearing each other. The tacos were delicious. The Caesar salad was bitter - the lettuce was from the bottom of the head. The dressing lacked flavor. I had grilled salmon on the salad, it was was fantastic. The cheese curds and chocolate cake were very good. I won't go back because I like to speak to the people I am having lunch with.
