We were very displeased with the service. Our first and second course was served way too soon. I hate feeling rushed at a restaurant, it's my biggest pet peeve, so therefore I cannot recommend. The food was pretty good, but service is everything to me and that was sub par.

It was my first time going there for brunch. We had the special madI gras menu. The huevos rancheros were delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was cozy and serene. I will definitely return.

Usually the food at Towne is great. This time it was very good, but not up to its usual level. Admittedly, the bar is high for Towne, so it's still a place I'd recommend.

Overall dining at Towne Stove and Spirits was an average experience. Things were OK but very little was great. I had the sirloin steak and it was overcooked and not the quality of cut I expected for the price. My date had the lamb and that was prepared very well.

While there, my sister asked me if the restaurant had just opened because it had that feeling to it--like it was just figuring things out. However, it's been open for years. We had to ask for everything--spoons for tea we all got, salt and pepper, maple syrup for french toast. They never brought the mimosa that was ordered, so we ended up cancelling it. Everything was just difficult and not the relaxing brunch we'd hoped for. The food was pretty good, but for the price, I'd expect better.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time, but was unfortunately really disappointed. We walked in and waited at the host station for a solid 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. When the host came up he said “hey can I help you with something?” Um yes, we’d like a table? This is a restaurant?! Bizarro.

Food was super expensive and really sub par. Caesar salad had little dressing and was extremely dry. Shrimp cocktail was good. Pizza was a sham. I got the “homemade sausage” one and the vegetables were hard and it had little toppings.

I was shocked because i had initially heard really good things when this place first opened. Maybe it’s gone downhill?

I probably wouldn’t go back. The food was mediocre. I had oysters and they were fresh and delicious, the calamari was ok but the meals were a disappointment. I got the duck and it was tough, and over cooked. My friend got the salmon and it was ok not much added flavor. Dishes not worth the price.

Went for brunch. It was an absolutely delicious meal! The staff were attentive and courteous! My group of 4 was extremely impressed! Can't wait to go back!

We went for Sunday brunch at noon. It was not busy about 1/3 full in the dining room. The service was lacking in, well, service. The coffee took a long time to come and subsequently refilled. Hailed the person who had served us the coffee to ask to place a drink order and she said 'i'm not your waiter' and did not bother to get waiter. I did not order the drink. The food arrived with no jam for the english muffin. Had to ask for it, whereas usually these things are brought out along with the food. I thought it was a bit declasse for this type of restaurant for the raspberry jam to be brought out in a little plastic condiment cup, clearly it had been scooped out of a larger jar. They should have the individual little jars or a better presentation if they are scooping out of a larger jar. The best part of brunch were the breakfast potatoes, crispy, creamy, simply outstanding and plenty of them. Need to polish up the service.
