Always an amazing place both for food and drinks. It's a happening place. Our server, Mary Lou was excellent. (I am not sure that is correctly spelled but she has been there a long time.)
Town can always be counted on to be excellent.....

Food was disappointing as the portion was very small. I ordered a shaking beef lunch and there were only 5 small pieces of meat and a ton of rice on a large plate! Way too much carb!
Service was sadly very poor. It started with wrong Food brought to us. Then, Our waitress hardly came to refill water. Even when I ask her to refill our water, it took her a long time to come by. I did not expect this level of poor service at Town.

Our dinner at Town was amazing. Our server was kind, efficient and knowledgeable. The food - simply amazing. We drove down from the city (SF) to eat there and would take the time to do it again and again.

Cocktails were incredible (and we run our own club!)
Thank you for an incredible culinary event.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable time with good food and service. It was difficult to talk to each other. Maybe I have trouble hearing.

The six layer chocolate cake is the best. We also enjoyed our blue cheese crusted filet mignon. Cocktails are delicious and the service is awesome

Delicious! Great grill options and fun cocktails. It can be a splurge, but well worth it.

I have a group of friends that live from San Jose to San Francisco. This is a perfect spot to meet, in the middle, for lunches. We have had nice times on several occasions. We will meet and eat there again.

Check in process could have been smoother. Also the waitress was a little pushy and asked to box our food before we were finished.

It has been a while since going to Town and it proved to be even better than I recall. Fantastic Brussel Sprout salad, Miso Sea Bass and Mushroom Truffle Risotto. We like the booth seating and, our server, Dawn was excellent with terrific recommendations.

We went there for my birthday. The appetizers were very tasty and the warm salad was delicious. The steak was very sad. I ordered prime rib which was very fatty and basically had no flavor. He ordered the crab encrusted filet and he said it was the worst filet he had ever had. Again, basically no flavor. Our sides of creamed spinach & baked potato were very good. Fortunately my daughter and her boyfriend's meals were good according to them. We have eaten at Town before so we wouldn't let this one bad experience sour us but we definitely did not enjoy our meat which went home to the dog.

Town is the best restaurant in San Carlos and the Peninsula. Their food is consistently delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was amazing. My husband had the rib eye, which was tender and cooked medium rare as ordered. Of course, we had to have their famous warm bread pudding. It is so, so good, I don’t order it at any other restaurant. Town’s is the best!

Strangely the extensive brunch menu only offered one seafood option (crab sandwich), though when we inquired the server offered to have salmon added to a salad. Unfortunately the salmon was served in skinny, overcooked, quarter sized pieces. The server was excellent though (as were the fries).

Celebrating our birthdays late we tried Town on a recommendation. Amazed at the trouble they went to by giving each of us a menu with Happy Birthday at the top & our individual names on it...great souvenir. We tried the chicken & waffles which was ok at best. Unfortunately, the chicken was far too well done & the crust lacked flavor almost burnt. The mimosas were great and the special touch at the end was the surprise double deserts on the house. In spite of the overdone chicken, we will definitely be back. The attention to service & ambiance made up for it.

Town is our place to go for all of our special celebrations - we celebrated our son's 16th Birthday on February 8th and, once again, everything was impecable! Our waiter, JJ, is not only our waiter, he has become family to us. He knows what we like and want and everything is always just right!
