Everything was great. The food was amazing and the location is beautiful.
We had dinner at Town Meeting for a nice date. Food and drinks were wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for a chilly fall night.
It was very warm in the dining room and the kitchen was a bit behind despite there not being many guests in the dining room.
We enjoyed the weekend champagne brunch. From start to finish, this was a stellar experience. The menu was diverse and the food delicious. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. I applaud the team at Town Meeting - if you want a beautiful, special dining experience - go!
Fue un día muy bonito. Celebramos un Friendsgiving con las amigas. Precioso. Estela nos cuidó con cada detalle. Gracias
Everything about the experience was lovely, a perfect fall evening.
A wonderful time. Our weightier was phenomenal!
Another excellent outing . . .the staff has developed a good style . .and the food continues to be better each time.
Special date night with my son and it was so lovely. Staff was wonderful and food delicious as always
The menu here is simple, but the food is done well. The decor and ambience are tasteful and understated. We enjoyed our lunch.
The menu was very limited and too expensive for what was offered.
Lovely evening sat at the bar for dinner eve though we had a table reservation. We liked the ambiance of the bar better than the dining hall. Food was very nice though I would have liked a little more creativity with the dishes.
This was our second time enjoying this wonderful restaurant right outside Lexington center. Great hidden gem with a small but delicious menu. Continental breakfast also offered.
Always wonderful! Great food, setting, service. A delight
Everytibg was perfect! The food was delicious, the ambiance and service were flawless!
Amazing place for brunch. Very intimate and the food was delish and great service!
They have a new menu...great selection and top quality food and service... Ps fairly priced too!! 🎊
I love Town Meeting. The food is delicious and the staff is wonderful. We sat on the porch on a beautiful fall day. It was perfect!
We had a delightful brunch there in late May (at the 10.00 seating). Impressed as we were by that experience, we took friends there for brunch yesterday (perhaps importantly, for the 2.00 seating). It was awful, simply dreadful! The staff seemed untrained, uncaring, and very much challenged by their duties. At times, we had the strong sense of being served what had been deemed unfit for serving earlier in the day, and, unfortunately, the menu itself had changed markedly and instead of the gorgeous and appealing items we had been served in May, the name of one of the new dishes described the entire, very expensive meal all too aptly--namely, 'hot mess'. Never again, unless we hear that things have changed, and changed dramatically.
An anniversary special occasion dinner that did not disappoint. Soothing spare ambiance, interesting menu, everything delicious and perfectly cooked. Some in our party had dietary requests that were graciously accommodated. Service attentive not hovering.
Had lobster rolls and dessert. Food was excellent. Greeter at front door was rude and wait person disappeared after serving our main course. Had to go looking for someone to order dessert and pay. To be fair we were eating around 1pm and ended up being the only party there after a while. So maybe they were not really open for lunch. But if that’s the case why did they take our reservation and seat us?
Simply outstanding food; preparation, seasoning, and presentation. Wine list is reasonable. Service excellent; engaging, timely, and professional. Little noisy as we sat on the porch, but subsided. Strongly recommended.
A delight from start to finish. We had the champagne brunch, which began with mimosas, coffee, and a tower of fruit, charcuterie, and seafood on ice. The first courses and main courses were delicious and the perfect amount of food, and the desserts were exquisite (and fortunately they allowed us to take some home). Great for vegetarians. Wonderful, thoughtful service in the lovely main room. Will be returning for a date or to show visitors to the city a high-quality brunch.
Delightful service! Super food!
What a wonderful dining experience my husband and I had. We stop in Lexington every year on our way to Maine from Ohio. The ambiance is so nice, it felt intimate and the food was wonderful. It was just what we needed after a long day of travel.
Wonderful for special occasions without a drive❣️☺️
Lunch was delicious. We both had the salmon. Beautiful presentation. Salmon was medium well instead of medium, but still amazing. Maine Lunch beer on tap in lovely glass kicked off a great meal. Coffee after our meal was sublime Md memorable. Looking forward to my next meal here!
our dinner was a delicious delight The attention to every detail was extraordinary!
the food to the service and everything in between exceeded any expectation
Service was poor. Forgot spoon for soup and by the time it was received, soup was cold. Forgot knife for steak - same thing. Didn’t refill water, forgot drinks ordered. Credit card machine went down and waited 20min for the restaurant to understand it was their card reader, not my card. Then they came back with all my CC information written down on a piece of paper to submit for payment later. This is not PCI complaint and puts my credit security at risk.
Food itself was decent. Salad was overdressed, sides with chicken were odd tasting. Soup cold by the time we ate and steak serving was terribly small. Only real positive was the fries were delicious.
Loved this neighborhood historic location! Simple charming and beautiful decor. Food and service was amazing!!
Great dinner at Town Meeting; food was excellent, a seasonal corn soup, fattoush salad, salmon with beets. Dessert was an amazing chocolate cremeaux. Service was as always impeccable: friendly & polished. We ate on the porch which was a whole summertime vibe, just loved it!
Everything was just superb. Exceeded our expectations. We were outside in porch on a beautiful night.
Service A+, food excellent. Will be back before it gets too cold to sit outside.
It was lovely brunch with more than enough food. One little glitch - a young server brought our first course before we finished the starters - no room on the table for all of it.
Otherwise the rest of the meal proceeded at a leisurely pace.
Was looking forward to dining at Town Meeting but could not locate the restaurant. There is an inn at the location provided with private parking for guests of the Inn only. We tried calling but was unable to make contact. Displeased that we couldn't find them or contact them we went elsewhere to dine.
Perfect in every way. Thank you to the entire staff.
Great serving staff. The menu had good variety and nice balance for anyone. The food came out at a nice pace. Excellent presentation and equally very good taste. Might have been a little hotter but was warm when brought to table. Dessert did come out a little later than expected but restaurant compt it which we did not ask for. It was delicious.
Town Meeting is always wonderful. The food is locally sourced and delicious, and the service is consistently impeccable.
Food was exceptional!
Service a bit slow.
Well, this was a major disappointment to be sure. Staying at the Inn is great, but the brunch was absolutely poor. Where to begin. First, and foremost, poor service here. I blame management for lack of training.
Only one pot of coffee served. French press good, but needed to do it myself. No further coffee served. All food was auctioned off at the table ( really it was just two people)!
The tower of appetizers was nice, along with breakfast pastries. A special Scallop dish ( an additional charge showed signs of talent in the kitchen. Watermelon salad was chopped up and not a great presentation.
Over easy eggs were cold, along with burnt cold potatoes. The Pork Sausage with Fennel was more of a Kielbasa. Toast cold also. Pancakes arrived two minutes after I had been served by another server. Very little Maple syrup. No excuse when only about 10 people in the dining room and a few on the patio.
Dessert selection was just okay.
Although the Inn is a great place to stay, we would y not recommend the brunch. A $150.00 ( without champagne) merits dining somewhere else. How sad for such a nice place.
The tower of appetizers were varied and tasty. The first course selections a contrast in colors, textures and flavors with a high recommendation for the watermelon salad. Main entrees provided a mix of breakfast and lunch choices. A more genteel opportunity to enjoy brunch!
