   The woman who waited on us was outstanding, I didn't get her name but she was very attentive, very accommodating and pleasant. Unfortunately, it was very cold (seated on the porch) wind really cutting and heaters didn't do much of a job but every attempt was made to make us comfortable (blankets, turned on extra heaters, etc.) overall a really nice place and a nice experience, will return when a bit warmer or book a 'bubble'!

   Very nice dining room and mostly good food. Was saddened that the bouillabaisse, which was advertised to have scallops and was the second most expensive entree on the menu, had no scallops and lots of dry potatoes. Really like this place the first time I went but the second time wasn’t as good, especially given the price.

   Best meal we’ve ever had there with the new (ish) chef. Roasted Zatar carrots and filet mignon were wonderful! Hadn’t been here for a few years but we will absolutely be back!

    This historic inn is beautifully renovated. The charming cozy bar is the perfect place to start. The authentic gorgeous dining room is dominated by a large working fireplace, which makes for a very nice ambiance. I cannot say enough about the super fresh, perfectly cooked, delicious food!     We planned a staycation due to COVID. This restaurant provides a beautiful setting for a nice farm to table meal. The menu is small but caters to every palate. Drinks from the bar were well done. I would rate it higher if the menu offered more food choices overall. Highly recommend.

    Perfection! A blanket and warming light kept us nice and cozy for our outdoor dinner on New Year’s Eve. Dinner on the porch, while tables are closer, somehow feels more private than in the dining room.

    The atmosphere and service was great. But, the food was amazing! Everything we tried was so good - even the lettuce in the salad was outstanding? Both of us have gluten restrictions and we not only had options, but the server was on point with information and options. I wish the portions were a little larger so we could eat more! This was so good I cannot wait to return!

    We enjoyed the weekend champagne brunch. From start to finish, this was a stellar experience. The menu was diverse and the food delicious. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. I applaud the team at Town Meeting - if you want a beautiful, special dining experience - go!

    Lovely evening sat at the bar for dinner eve though we had a table reservation. We liked the ambiance of the bar better than the dining hall. Food was very nice though I would have liked a little more creativity with the dishes.

    We had a delightful brunch there in late May (at the 10.00 seating). Impressed as we were by that experience, we took friends there for brunch yesterday (perhaps importantly, for the 2.00 seating). It was awful, simply dreadful! The staff seemed untrained, uncaring, and very much challenged by their duties. At times, we had the strong sense of being served what had been deemed unfit for serving earlier in the day, and, unfortunately, the menu itself had changed markedly and instead of the gorgeous and appealing items we had been served in May, the name of one of the new dishes described the entire, very expensive meal all too aptly--namely, 'hot mess'. Never again, unless we hear that things have changed, and changed dramatically.

    Had lobster rolls and dessert. Food was excellent. Greeter at front door was rude and wait person disappeared after serving our main course. Had to go looking for someone to order dessert and pay. To be fair we were eating around 1pm and ended up being the only party there after a while. So maybe they were not really open for lunch. But if that’s the case why did they take our reservation and seat us?

    A delight from start to finish. We had the champagne brunch, which began with mimosas, coffee, and a tower of fruit, charcuterie, and seafood on ice. The first courses and main courses were delicious and the perfect amount of food, and the desserts were exquisite (and fortunately they allowed us to take some home). Great for vegetarians. Wonderful, thoughtful service in the lovely main room. Will be returning for a date or to show visitors to the city a high-quality brunch.
