This is a gem in New Rochelle. We've dined here a few times for special occasions and have always been impressed with the menu and the service. The dishes are incredibly unique. The ingredients are local. The vibe is very much Manhattan-like. Highly recommended!

Food was good. Although there’s not a lot on the menu. Ambience is great. Service was poor the first time we went & it continues to be disappointing. Took a long time for drinks (& the beer came last) , 3 of our 4 meals came out. We didn’t have cutlery. Waitress was distracted & clueless.

The food choices were very limited and expensive. There was no coffee available at all. The service is mediocre at best. The bus boy was down right rude. The noise level was high and it was hard to have a conversation at our table without having to shout.

Horrible service. After 1 hour of waiting we politely asked where our main dishes were. The waitress never placed the order (and never checked in on us during the one hour time either to see if we needed anything). I asked for the check so we could leave and pay for the apps we had. Common courtesy of a manager would have been to comp the 2 appetizers or offer a discount but no - nothing. We paid the bill and left. Not planning on going back.

Ordered french toast that tasted great upon my first bite but soon discovered was raw inside. Because of this, I could only eat around the edges which means I did not get a full meal. I showed my plate to my waiter and he said he would mention to the chef but did not make any effort to satisfy me as a customer by even offering me a complimentary cup of coffee. I also ordered a side scramble egg and when I got my order it was a very soft sunny side up egg. When I mentioned it to the server, she said she would talk to the chef. I was told they do not make scrambled eggs so I was stuck with a barely cooked egg. Ambiance and service was average but food was below average and not what I expected from this place. Michelin recognized...yeah right. Will not return or recommend to anyone!!

Was very excited to try this restaurant but unfortunately was disappointed. The food was good and so were the drinks but the service was seriously lacking. The drinks were small for the prices. We placed all our drinks and food order that the same time and one entree came out and we had to ask twice for the second entree. Over all not a great dining experience.

The cocktail was delicious and the food was well prepared. Just wish on a summer day, they had more of a seasonal menu. We order oysters, a little heavy on the ginger, took away from the oyster taste so I picked it off. The tempura beans were very good, but a little salty from the pickling. We had the chicken and steak. The chicken was served with chorizo and charred shishito peppers. The chicken was super moist but the plate could have used some freshness and the chorizo made it a heavier dish. The steak was perfectly prepared and the sauces were delicious but did not come with any sort of side and again, lacked any seasonal freshness or lightness. We had a pleasant experience but if the menu remains the same, there is not enough reason for us to go back soon.

I had been wanting to try Town House because they have generated a buzz. The service was very good & friendly. The vegetable-based appetizers were very good (carrots, salad). Entrees need work (as an example, steak was undercooked, even after sending it back). Drinks were okay.

The food was uneven. The duck was amazing - best we’ve ever had in NY. The cocktails were great, too. But some of the cavatelli pasta was chalky. The pan con tamate was essentially a fried zeppoli. Flan was not really a flan. And the salad was served after the duck. And they had no coffee. We’ll be back for market vegetables and duck.

Great food and a great ambiance. The price reflects the quality of the items served. We loved the specialty cocktails as well. We were a party of 7 and our server got everything right, was very friendly with us, and the food came out promptly. My only gripe was that the drinks took a while which was not the fault of the bartender but of management, as there was only 1 mixologist./bartender for the entire restaurant. Perhaps this is not their norm and we caught them on an off night. Overall we will definitely be returning. Favorites were the pig ears, scallop crudo, and the burger
