   This relatively small, neighborhood restaurant is a true gem. The food is excellent, the service efficient, yet friendly and warm, the ambiance is cozy... all in all just a great place to come for a great dinner with friends. Outdoor seating is fun, too, weather permitting.

   Nice ambience and great service. The food was uneven. The octopus was nicely seared and tender, but the capers dominated. The potato green bean side was mushy and had too much vinegar. Would go back, though.

   My husband and I went to eat on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was empty except one other group. They sat the one other family at the table directly next to us so they were practically in our conversation. My food was brought to me about 5 minutes after ordering, however, my husband didn't receive his food for another 10 minutes after that. I was practically done eating before he received his food. We were in the restaurant for a total of 37 minutes and didn't get the chance to enjoy our night. We felt very rushed.

    The seared scallops served in a bed of pureed celery hearts with green beans, topped with crispy leak threads - were truly amazing, as was the generous portion of seared salmon ordered by another family member. Our server, Keegan, was informative answering menu item questions and very attentive checking back frequently to see if we needed anything.

    Salmon and scallop entree was perfectly cooked and delicious. I requested the trout preparation with the delicious mashed potatoes and broccolini. Great wine and cocktails. Great and fast service. Highly recommended!

    Great food and service. Our server/bartender was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. We had a delicious Kale Salad with Manchego cheese. The fries and fried trout fish sandwich was delicious! I had it without the bread so it’s was like a fish and chips dish. The crab cakes Benedict was also delicious. The poached egg was cooked medium as requested. The house-made caramel gelato was so creamy and tasty. Perfect ending to the meal.

    Sat at a standard height table. Very lucky as first timers to have Alyssa as our server. Our appetizer cornbread special was wonderful and our entrees were also wonderful. Pasta dishes Sugo and Mafaldine. Yes of course we had desert. Wine was recommended by Alyssa. Noteworthy.

    Good food and drinks but the service was awful. From the moment we sat down our server made it clear that he wanted us to hurry through our meal and leave. He was abrupt, unfriendly, and repeatedly forgot things we asked for. I was pretty shocked. By the end of our meal he was hovering and clearing every single plate as someone finished it. And the restaurant was fairly full, so it’s not as if we were there late or keeping him there. He had other tables nearby where people were behind us in eating and where he did not do this. Moreover we were a party of seven so he had a big tip coming. So disappointing. I’m unlikely to ever go back or to recommend it.

    My friend and I had dinner before the opera downtown. We had super service. The meal was superb (filet and scallops). Great location for dinner before a play or concert downtown.

    We had not been in awhile and menu was spot on as usual. Steelhead trout and malfaldino dishes were excellent. The lemon (apologies to kitchen for forgetting official name) dessert was a perfect way to end meal - extremely refreshing and flavors extremely well balanced. Side note: whoever is doing the music these days is knocking it out of the park. I heard everything from Grateful Dead “Fire on the Mountain” to Lionel Ritchie “All Night Long”. It was fun to see what was next and added to our lovely evening. Thanks Town Hall staff for another great experience.

    When I first walked in I worried about where we would sit. (it seemed small and packed) However, we were led to another dining area way at the back of the restaurant close to the kitchen. Thank goodness for the skylights that made brunch cheery and joyful. The brunch cocktails were fruit-forward. We had the Bellini which I can attest used actual peach purée vs. schnapps or syrup. The smoked salmon egg salad toast delivered on their truffledness and the bread looked like you would require some considerable mastication but it was surprisingly crunchy AND light. The brussel sprouts were tasty but a little too rich /sweet in the last spooned servings. The crab cake Benedict was delicious. Service was a 5. Ambience a 5. Food a 4.5.

    Had dinner before Florida Theatre performance. Had duck fat cornbread, steelhead trout, salmon, chocolate cake, and lemon semifreedo. Everything tasted great. Our service was excellent. It was a little noisy but the place was packed so that is expected. A little pricey but overall it was worth it. We will come back.

    My mule was quite lime-y and needed a little more ginger, and the brussels sprouts were not as cooked as I would have liked (I couldn't even cut thru them with the knife provided), but those were the only weaknesses of the evening for a party of four! The other three had filets, all cooked as requested. My scallops were perhaps the best I've ever eaten, perfectly moist, tender, and translucent, and served in a light cream sauce with plenty of capers. Beautifully served with fresh green beans. Portion sizes are modest, but only by American standards -- that means we didn't leave with four doggy-bags, and the meal itself was quite satisfying. Especially when we added the dessert special for the restaurant's 6th anniversary (congratulations!). The restaurant is lovely; we sat in the back room with a booth/bench seat on the wall and two regular chairs on the outside. Hats off to our personable server (Liz??) who was super-efficient, friendly, and professional all at the same time. This was the second time we've brought out-of-town guests to Town Hall, and once again we absolutely made the right choice.
