Town Hall is a farm-driven, Southern-inspired restaurant located in Florence, S.C. The menu changes with the seasons, and features a selection of starters and entrees with both familiar and unexpected ingredients, some of which are from our nearby family farm.     We were lured to come by the restaurant week specials. They were excellent! They should add the crab bisque to the menu permanently. And our server Lane was very nice and very attentive.

    Wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, our server knew everything about every dish and was quick with refills and suggestions to make our dining experience the best. The cocktails were fabulous and tasty. Our starter order got accidentally overlooked and they brought us complimentary wings until it was ready. You can’t ask for more than that. My steak was cooked perfectly and the desserts we had were delicious. There was a little conversational noise but not enough to distract from the ambiance. The most pleasant dining experience I’ve had in a long time.

    Service was excellent but main course was just okay. For $46 for a filet mignon I expect to cut it with a fork and not a knife. I would say that the monk fish was very good.

    We had a wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary at Town Hall. When we arrived, there was an anniversary card on the table that was signed by the staff. We were also provided a glass of complimentary champagne. Our waiter went above and beyond with these special touches. The meal was delicious!

    We had a wonderful time here while visiting from out of town! We appreciated the zeal our server had when serving us on our first night at Town Hall. He had fantastic suggestions and the food and drinks did not disappoint. The grill master knows what he is doing! The hangar steak and pork chop were absolutely delicious ❤️ We came back the next night and had the same service from a different server, a true indication that the level of service is consistent. If you are visiting the downtown area of Florence, then check out Town Hall! Their combinations of unique cocktails and mouth-watering food will have you leaving delighted and satisfied. 😁

    I have been all over the south from Nashville to Charleston to Savannah and I have eaten at many “farm to table” places. This was my first visit to Florence and the Town Hall. This place is #1 to me. It hit on every measure. From the bar staff, cocktails (Gamblin Man!), menu selections, service (ask for Lane!) and the food itself. The sausage appetizer was the best ever. Ever. And fresh! The bone marrow was delish beyond compare. And the quail was far and away the most perfectly roasted and seasoned bird I have ever eaten. Planning to return most assuredly.

    The Yellowfin tuna was the most tasteless fish I’ve had in some time ( definitely not fresh) and the rice that was supposed to come with it looked like it was drowned in broth to the point it looked like soup. I will not be a return customer, it was that bad. Service was nonexistent after the meal was served. We had to ask the hostess and another person to clear our plates and bring more water and drinks. The noise level was uncomfortable. I understand that it is an open concept and individuals will talk but with your added music turned up to a level that people have to converse over both is unacceptable for table talk.

    We found Town Hall about 6 years ago when we stopped in Florence for an overnight. We enjoyed it so much we returned last night. The food was very good , as we remembered. Our server, although very friendly, was unable to answer questions we had regarding food items or their bourbon selections. To her credit, she asked the appropriate people to get answers to our questions. We both ordered the 8 oz filets and both ordered medium rare. She did not suggest that we cut into them to make sure they were as we ordered. Mine was closer to rare than medium rare. I tasted it and the center was, surprisingly warm , therefore I ate the steak without comment and found it very tender and flavorful. Next time our travels take us to Florence, we will definitely return.
