Town Hall - Florence
Our rooftop bar, The Dispensary, is now open. Join us on the 3,500 sq. ft. rooftop to enjoy artisan cocktails, wine and local beer while overlooking downtown Florence.
Great food. A little slow on coming out. Great place for special occasion.
My Pork Chop was a bit too salty and the Augratin potatoes were not very exciting, otherwise everything was good.
The deviled egg oyster appetizer was wonderful, the pork chop was tasty, but very fatty, the boulabaise was good but not great, the service was very good and the key lime dessert was very tasty.
Our server, Ian, was as attentive and professional as any Michelin level restaurant that I have ever dined. The food was excellent - probably the best Southern cuisine that I have ever had.
This is a fabulous restaurant- quiet
Good service and the BEST food!
Another 1st class experience at Town Hall. Love the staff and the level of service we always receive.
Fabulous Food, outstanding service. Love the atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening!
Celebrating friends 30th wedding anniversary. Food was excellent. Service great and recognized
their anniversary from my reservation. Very very pleased.
This was my Wife’s Birthday Dinner and our date was Amazing
This was the third time we have a visited while in town. We like the ambience and the food is so nicely prepared. It is located in an old historic building and the owners have done a great job preserving the atmosphere. Good value
Waited on drinks all night. Waiter was no very attentive.
We stop in Florence to and from Florida several times a year. On each visit, we treat ourselves to the Town Hall. This restaurant is upscale dining in a relaxed atmosphere. All of the staff are competent and friendly. The food is excellent and The grill master Thomas hits a perfect medium-rare on my steak every time. Town Hall is a local treasure that is a must visit!!!
In town for State tennis tournament
Reserved through Open Table. Everything as requested.
Excellent meal and service.
Great service, steak cooked PERFECTLY, felt at home.
My friend and I were both working in Florence and heard about the farm to table restaurant called Town Hall and the Dispensary. We got together, meeting there at 6PM. The weather was beautiful so we started up on the rooftop Dispensary, looking out over the downtown Florence area, then finding comfy patio chairs in the shade and we each had a drink that Whitney, behind the bar, concocted for us. Very good. We then went back downstairs to find the place packed, but they were able to seat us. Ian took care of us and was a terrific server. We tried the deviled eggs topped with a crispy friend oyster. Who'd have thought of that! But it was delicious. Monte had the Oso Bucco and I had a perfectly grilled bone in pork chop with super yummy garlic mashed potatoes. I could have made a meal of the mashed potatoes. We finished up by each having peach hand pies topped with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. This place is clean and open with simple modernization and an energic vibe to it. It is clearly the place where the movers and shakers go but the place also draws couples and ladies wanting to share a lovely evening. I highly recommend this place. Monte and I have already made reservations for next week.
Lovely restaurant in charming downtown Florence. Food was excellent and unique. Melanie was a great and attentive waitress. Enjoyed our dinner very much!
It was a perfect dinner for our anniversary. Service was great, food was great.
Our server was great... I wish I could remember his name. I want to say it was grant or gram.. mid 20s with a beard and wearing a denim apron.
He was really attentive and explained all the plates that me and my lady asked about.
We’ll be back!
My husband had a delicious pork chop and I had a tasteless piece of grouper. I don’t like to complain, so I didn’t send it back. I left it uneaten on my plate, so no meal for me on date night. Next time I’ll say something.
It was excellent food and service.
Having eaten here multiple times I can say that the restaurant’s strong points are consistency, staff professionalism and excellent service. Last night they were out of a number of main stream items, clearly noted at the outset by our server, but since it was midweek and early in the evening, that is the only thing keeping me from given my experience that 5th star.
I was very disappointed in our trip to Town Hall. Being an upscale restaurant, we were excited for a quiet and romantic dinner date for our anniversary. We got the exact opposite. It was louder than most bars. We couldnt even hold a conversation without yelling at each other across the table. It is also very overpriced for what you get. We both had an entree and my husband had one drink. Total was $73. The service was also very slow. Our reservation was at 730 and we weren't able to leave before 9:15. I wouldnt recommend Town Hall.
It was an excellent time service was very good and food was excellent. Bar well run and Jamie makes your experience friendly and informative about menu etc.
We love Town Hall! It’s our go-to spot for date night, celebrations, or just an impromptu dinner. Thank you for catering to our party!
Typically this is all around 5 star but... steak tasted like it was marinated in a bowl of country crock butter and was slightly over cooked. It also lacked the nice char grilled flavor they typically have. Definitely not a steak worth $45. We were however offered a complimentary dessert after I made the waiter aware I wasn’t quite as impressed with the food as I normally was. The team at Townhall seems to be committed to customer service and our service was on point as always. The food is usually as outstanding as the service and knowing everyone has an off day from time to time we will definitely be back.
Have only been to Town Hall twice, both times the food, service and atmosphere have been great. Our server was Daniel, great guy who did a great job explaining and selling the fabulous menu selections. Thanks for a great evening!
Our waiter, Marquis, was very kind and attentive. The food was quite good.
Was able to a Tomahawk Pork Chop cooked to perfection. Salads were great. Rusty Nail cocktail was outstanding. All staff was very attentive. Will revisit. Excellent menu.
You will not regret giving the Town Hall a try!! Food was delicious and the service was great!! Definitely will be going back...new favorite!
Great for date nights.
Normally I would have given 5 stars. Unfortunately, this was our 20th wedding anniversary and I was really looking forward to ordering the octopus appetizer (which my husband ordered a couple weeks before) but they were out. I did order the duck confit but it was a little on the dry side. However, I will definitely be back!
A truly excellent restaurant. Every aspect of the experience was great. I highly recommend.
Very nice place to dine. The devil eggs with oysters were delicious!!! I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The window view awesome. The service is very pleasant and inviting. The waiter was great with helping me decide on a dish. The Roasted chicken and grits very good
We eat here a lot. I always enjoy the seafood specials as the fish is always fresh
We visited on Saturday night and were seated immediately on arrival. The bar, open kitchen and larege dining area make for a very good experience. The roof top multi level bar is also a draw and is an active place including live music.
Menu is interesting mix of seafood, streak and local sourced produce.
20 oz bone in tomahawk Ribeye steak is a bit pricey with bone and fat but is tasty. Medium rare is a little more medium so order accordingly.
Appetizer oyster and egg is outstanding and mashed potato side is excellent.
Service good and is definitely a place to return.
Executive Chef Kelly Vogelheim and her kitchen staff use locally sourced products daily to prepare this exceptional restaurant's menu items. General Manager Terrell Ham's professionalism and warm and sincere hospitality is exhibited throughout all members of his team. We always look forward to our next visit as they are always "welcome us home".
