We went here for our anniversary and the entire experience was great. The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing.
We had a fabulous birthday lunch during the restaurant week offers. We have been before and they never fail to astound us! The frisse salad with lardons and poached egg (Salade Lyonnaise) was really marvelous, followed by tagliatelle with butternut squash and roasted oyster mushrooms and what must have been maitake mushrooms was equally amazing. My only complaint would be the price of add ons like drinks (peach lemonade, non alcoholic) and shared desserts with tax amounted to over $80 when you included well deserved tip, so it is not for the faint of heart!
Great experience. I came for breakfast with family visiting from out of town. The staff is always friendly and very helpful when asked questions about the menu. It helps when someone hasn’t had any creole food before. It’s a great breakfast spot when you want something more than eggs and hash browns. It’s also a good excuse to zip up the hill to Kerry park and take in the view after a satisfying meal. Thank you.
Horrible service. Server literally spoke maybe 5 words to us. Not sure how that is even possible as a waitress. She looked annoyed like she didn’t want to be there and didn’t check on us once. Literally. Not. Once.
Food: chicken fried chicken was dry, crab Benedict was phenomenal as were the beignets!
Excellent food and service!
You will not be disappointed!
Everything was perfect. The food was excellent and my friend and I felt very safe with the precautions that the restaurant has taken. Highly recommend going for brunch!
Always love the vibe, its happy and busy. Love the food, dishes have delicious flavoring.
Wow absolutely wonderful date night here! Great ambiance and service and the food was delicious. I was really impressed with every course for restaurant week. I highly recommend the smoked trout salad, creole shrimp and grits, and the ice cream and brownie sundae. Seriously WOW!!!
SO GOOD! If you’re looking for a massive menu, look no further. They have everything from raw oysters to fried chicken gumbo to bread pudding. We went for a birthday celebration and it did not disappoint! Their cocktails were delicious, highly recommend the Madame Toulouse.
This was a great find in Seattle. My wife has been craving jambalaya and man they didn't disappoint. I had the fried chicken gumbo it was very tasty but I miss the white rice. The Brussels sprout was outstanding and their chicken dishes were the business. Creme Brule trio was love in another form.
Our first dinner out in a year and we chose Toulouse Petit because we've had great meals there in the past. Our appetizers and desserts were great. But I ordered the lamb for my entree and it was so tough I had trouble cutting it much less chewing it. I brought the leftovers home and my spouse declared it inedible when he tried to have it for lunch the next day. Also, it didn't even remotely taste like lamb and didn't seem to have any sauce or seasonings. The lentils that came with it were great. Very disappointing evening.
We loved everything about this experience. We enjoyed the staff, the food, the drinks, the ambiance, the decor... it was all magical. Thank you!
Loved the ambiance and so did my kids. Service was phenomenal. Value... questionable. We enjoyed a ribeye, fried chicken bites, gumbo, shrimp, crawfish and grits.
My kids enjoyed the kids menu items. Daughter enjoyed butter pasta. Drinks were a heavy pour which is what we want. I would definitely recommend for friends and family. I do wish the food was a little warmer when served and that the portion size matched the price but that’s it.
We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had our kids there. And after waiting 15 min to be seated, we asked if some water and an order of bread could be brought out. After 15 min with our kids going crazy with no water, bread or waiter in site, we managed to order some food for them. Everything came at once and appetizers can well after mains. The kids could eat their food though as they had no cutlery. The burger was burnt and the fries were soggy. It took us 20min to flag a waiter. And then we were asked to explain why we didn’t like the food. They tried to make it right by remaking our dishes, but by then t was too late. Overall really disappointing service and food quality.
There are place you dine that are great and made excellent by the service and this is one of them. Our waitress was lovely. Engaging, responsive, kind. All four dinners we had were delicious - a close tie as to which was the best!
Great service. The food was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed it from the apps to the desserts.
Never got a refill on my water but food was amazing and very kind hostess.
Brunch was great. The staff was as usual wonderful.
First time in Seattle and based on various blogs, this restaurant was a must stop. It definitely didn't disappoint and waiter service was great! Would definitely recommend and come back.
This is one of our favorite places to go. The food is amazing and they make the best cocktails.
The service was exquisite. From the moment I walked in, the host and server both were so kind and checked on me often. I ordered a few things to try and each was delicious! The coffee was fresh, the mimosa had just the right proportion of OJ to champagne. The beignets went well with coffee and the sausage gravy had just enough kick to it. I highly recommend!
This was a 65th birthday celebration. The mixologist for my Walnut Old Fashioned had gotten a little carried away with the bitters; it was replaced, and while the second one was better, I wouldn’t do it again.
We did the Restaurant Week special menu, and were not disappointed. 1st course was the yellow beet, haricot vert & stilton salad for Madame, and the seafood gumbo for me. Both were delightfully flavorful and substantial: lots of textures blending the flavors. A+!
Main courses were barbecued shrimp & grits - excellent - and the shrimp/crawdad/andouille& grits. We each savored every mouthful to the point of swapping dishes halfway through. I’m sure the rest of the menu is fabulous, but this was SOOO GOOD!!!!
Dessert was beignets for madame and the pear/walnut bread pudding for me. I know the beignets were fabulous; the Mrs wouldn’t share any. My pear and walnut bread pudding was more like a slice of banana bread than the real bread pudding I’ve had in NOLA: it was only adequate.
Service was friendly and attentive. Still our favorite Queen Anne restaurant!
Food was fantastic
Excellent menu. The eclectic interior is entertaining and the bar is spectacular with a wonderful display of liquor. Our food was delicious and served promptly. Staff was pleasant and attentive.
Excellent food and extensive menu to choose from!!
Food good, table service outstanding. Check in was a little rough.
Good choices on the menu especially breakfast till 2pm. Great serve and delicious food. We did not order breakfast but will be back again to try the breakfast items. Walking distance from work.
I have always adored Toulouse Petit. Outstanding New Orleans flavors are nearly impossible to replicate outside of Louisiana, but Toulouse gets it right! I always tell guests that you could pin the menu on a dart board and and anything you hit is outstanding. My steak last night, the Filet Marchand du Vin, was cooked to perfection and the service was even better. Great wines at fair prices too!
This place is one of my favorite restaurants to eat. The food is so amazing! I love the menu. However, the service is horrible! I asked the host what he liked to eat, he said "everything." I asked, "Can you tell me your top five?", his reply was no! Then our waitress was did not have any input into the menu whatsoever when asked. She took our order and NEVER came back to our table. She did not check in to see how our food was, she never delivered our bill, we had to track her down to get our bill. We sat for 15 minutes for her to come grab our check, she did not come so we had to give her our payment! When we walked up to pay she gave us a look like we were irritating her. I hope management reads this and lets her go. She is a horrible employee!!! They would be better off with a robot.
We had a great dinner-all of the dishes were prepared well and the menu has so many choices on it it is crazy.
