harrison our waiter, did a splendid job! :)
New Faculty appreciation lunch.
The food was excellent, the waitstaff friendly, and they’re giving a great dining experience with all the COVID craziness. 10/10 would recommend. Loved especially the jambalaya, fried chicken, and prime rib. And the bananas foster for dessert. All the food was amazing though, which is hard to do with a diverse menu but oh boy did they succeed brilliantly!! Will definitely be back :)
Extensive menu, beautiful decor, attentive and friendly staff, and wonderful food. Everybody loved their choice of entree. And the desserts - outstanding. Will definitely be back.
Huge menu, lots of good options. Fair portions
Love the food, drinks, service and ambiance at Toulouse Petite!
Everything was great, service and food!
Cute decor , the food was ok. Everyone was very pleasant.
Great experience. Good music and, most importantly, good food. I’m a southern boy with biases toward West coast versions of most southern dishes. This restaurant does it right. We asked for recommendations from the menu, and our server literally took the menu and highlighted all of his favorites ( my beautiful date really appreciated that sentiment). Good, strong drinks from one of the most talented bartenders/mixologists I’ve ever seen in action. The man was on it all night! My advice— be sure to mix your pasta up well, and don’t be afraid to ask for extra seasoning on anything. A bit more flavor would make this ten an eleven!
II met a client for lunch. We had the smoked trout salad with grilled French bread and the BLT with fries. It was so good. Love the big menu, so many innovative items to choose from. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the stand out items on the menu. When my dining partner asked to hold the avocado, the waiter asked if I'd like it for my salad. How could I turn that down? It was a lovely lunch. Would definitely come back.
Great as always
I ordered the a shrimp creole and this was one of worst dishes I’ve had in quite some time. On the up side, the prawns we’re good sized and it was quite spicy. On the down side it was watery with undercooked rice and had no depth or development of flavor. Heaped on top was a pile of cilantro, which wasn’t indicated in the dish description or I would have asked for it to be left off. Having to pay $4 for a “baguette” style bread (a few slices of brioche type bread) and the $4 wage surcharge I felt it was over the top.
The food here is impeccable and the service was even better. Our server Jordan was amazing and so helpful in choosing what we liked. I'd go back here in a heart beat.
We have eaten here many times and it is ALWAYS delicious. Drinks, apps, entrees, it's fantastic food. Just go already!
Love this place. Had a table right next to the windows perfect for Sunday Brunch!
Great restaurant with excellent, unique gourmet food choices in an awesome ambient location. Sat next to windows which was great for people watching. Service was attentive and excellent! Can't wait to go back again!
For the noise, rap and ambient techno blasted to the center from 5 speakers, I give 4 stars. We asked to move to the side and that cuts down about 25% of the noise after the server couldn't hear us, and we couldn't hear him or her. Moving made it possible to talk to us and our server.
Craft cocktails were also very good.
The food was excellent.. the jambalaya and gumbo are outstanding and the seafood very very fresh. The service (once at a better table) was very good. French onion soup was outstanding.. not too much cheese but all their broths have so much flavor. The lamb was also roasted beautifully.
Would definitely recommend but you unless you like a high level of noise, I would ask to be seated at the side without speakers (not anywhere close to the bar area).
Our party of 6 - 4 generations- had a great time. The mussels with the saffron source was super. Cocktails were good and the service was excellent.
Really enjoyed the location and the food. Restaurant week was great!
Very nice setting. Large menu and the drinks are on point. Food was delicious. Highly recommended for dinner date or happy hour.
I have always loved this restaurant but I felt the food was subpar this time around. Fatty steak, served over fries that were greasy and just not good. The fried green tomatoes were also just barely fried not well enough. I am so sad, this used to be one of my favourite spots.
Went for a girls brunch and was so impressed with the food/drinks we came back the next night for dinner!
One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Have been here for times and the food never disappoints. I've not had one dish that wasn't good.
Wonderful place and great food. You really cannot go wrong with this place. The menu is extensive, but every item feels like it could be a star on its own.
Another amazing evening at Toulouse! Toulouse has been one of my favorite Seattle restaurants for many years! Happy to see them thriving post covid closures. Tonight’s dinner was for my birthday and the staff took exceptional care of me and my friends and the food continues to be a trip to flavor town! Thanks so much Toulouse, can’t wait to come back!
In times of COVID we were faced with a dilemma. Our reservation was for 7:45pm. The foursome occupying our table were not following protocol and we ended up not being seated until 8:20. The issue was that Tharp is no space inside the restaurant to wait, so we had to wait outside in the drizzle. I understand that the restaurant was in a tough predicament - but they did buy us a round of drinks as a token of a peace offering.
What a treat for us after a year of staying at home. We were running late for our reserved time, and I called about 45 minutes ahead to let them know, they were able to accommodate the new arrival time. The food and the service was just excellent, we had a great date night there!
My husband said their fried oyster salad is one of the best salad he has tasted, we'll be coming back for more <3
Eli, our server was wonderful. His suggestions were spot on. Food was delicious. I had the Blackened St Helens Rib eye which was like butter. I asked Eli to choose the wine and he choose a Bordeaux that paired nicely. Delicious meal. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and the atmosphere. We enjoyed the creme brûlée trio and the Beignets with the bourbon ice cream. If we could have gotten away with licking the dishes, we would have!
There were four of us, and only one in our party had been their before. We will definitely be going back!!!
Service was disappointing both times while food was fine but not amazing. Brunch was better value-wise. I heard from a friend that he had a similar experience when he went there - they've been understaffed for a while and it shows. This won't be one of my regular places but it was a decent experience the two times I visited.
One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Everything we have tried here is fantastic. Beautiful ambiance, great for a special occasion or nice date.
So so good. Ordered the wagyu steak with crawfish, the steak required barely any chewing and the taste was velvety and buttery.
