Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge
Our expansive menus offer culinary diversity and range from traditional Creole and French Quarter menu choices to traditional Parisian and French countryside preparations to more innovative dishes that are entirely unique to Toulouse.
A lovely time was had by all.
Outstanding dining experience, love the food here and the menu has a ton of options these days. One of our favorite places in Seattle for a date night
Our food was delicious. I'm glad we finally got a chance to visit this wonderful restaurant.
All four of us truly enjoyed our meals. It was our first time there. We will come back soon.
If you have lived in Seattle for more than a few years, coming back to Toulouse Petit every now and then is like visiting a dependable, good friend. The food is well-prepared, the menu should fit just about every taste and budget, and the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. It's almost better than it was, when it was a little more frenetic than it seems now, and thus a little noisier and hectic. Now it just has a comfortable, easy-to-be in charm. Really makes me want to come back more often than the once every so often schedule we have been on for the last few years.
One of the best dining experience I’ve had. From the sumptuous visuals, friendly and enjoyable staff to the amazing food all enjoyed in a 3 hour no rushed meal.
Great restaurant. Food was delicious! Pricing was good.
First time at this establishment, made reservations a week prior for a group of six. Excellent service. Ambiance is cozy/elegant. Servers entree suggestions were spot on, drinks were tasty. Definitly recommend to friends and plan to come again.
I am a frequent patron but this time the service left a lot to be desired. Also they did not shut the side entrance so people kept trying to enter and opening and shutting the door right right. Y our table.
I brought my Sis and Friend here for lunch on Friday. I have been before, a few times, and the food is always so good. They had the cauliflower soup with creme frieche, and sides, to die for! I had the crab and Peruvian prawn salad which is excellent. Love the ambiance.
One thing we noticed is the heavy dust on the blown glass lights and on top of the ventilation system in the ceiling. But the bathrooms are nice!f
The food was amazing. The servers were absolutely awesome. If they didn’t have something available they made a similar substitution free of charge. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who what’s to have a nice dinner with family and friends
I've been here more than my fair share. Its a popular place for brunch. My husband loves this place, but for me, it seems that the quality of food and drinks are just getting worse little by little. We went here for dinner during Seattle Restaurant week, and everything was under a lot of parsley, really oily or both. The drinks were not well made, even their staple menu item beignets aren't what I remember. Disappointing.
Noisy, salty, rude
Had so much fun and the perfect meal. The atmosphere was just right.
Extremely accommodating, very busy place. Restaurant week yielded open reservations only at 5:45 and 9:15. We nabbed the 9:15 but they seated us early. I mentioned we were rushed and with a packed house they delivered fabulous food right away. Great vibe. Terrific servers. Toulouse knocks it out of the park!
We tried this restaurant for the first time during restaurant week. My first course was the beet salad, followed by the shrimp and grits, with the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, and all were amazing. The restaurant is beautiful, service was great, we will be back!
Great food and great service ! I would go again and try other dishes .
This is definitely a must when in Seattle. We stopped at a few different recommended places (all different types of food) and even did a food tour but holy cow this place took the cake. Friendly staff and knowledgeable servers. We told her what we like and she recommended a slue of options from the menu and we loved every single one. Amazing food and great drinks. Only recommendation I’d have is to improve the kids menu as the burger sliders is probably the only option a younger child might like. Otherwise an amazing place to eat and worth every penny.
Toulouse Petite was fabulous! I would never ever come to Seattle without dining here!
Great staff who seem to have eyes everywhere - not just their own stations - to make sure the customer is happy in all aspects. As an example, the friendly bartender brought my wife's cocktail AROUND the bar in person to where we were standing some way away waiting for our table.
This is one of our favorite places for informal relaxation and ambience, let alone the great food and wine selection.
Great experience. I took my mother there for her birthday and we loved the food. I ordered the duck confit and she ordered the cajun shrimp and sausage pasta. Both were very delicious. The place was packed! I think that might have resulted in a slightly more rushed service, as the server did not stay long to hear our orders. Furthermore, the place was a bit louder than we would have liked, but that was mostly due to the number of people inside. All in all I will definitely be back as the food was amazing and it was a very beautiful restaurant.
This place never fails for any occasion! Great wine list and the rich flavors found in the dishes don’t disappoint the taste buds.
We had dinner reservations during the Happy Hour period. The kitchen was very slow in getting our order out and the wait staff less than attentive. If we were more alert we would have sat in the Happy Hour section and ordered off its menu. We have eaten at Toulouse Petit several times and find things inconsistent. Our evaluation is based on this experience and we have rated it higher on other occasions.
The server only came by to take our order, the food was delivered by the kitchen staff. To get our bill I had to flag her down. The prices (of the food) would have been reasonable had the food risen above mediocrity. I order the Toulouse Seafood Gumbo and pecan pie. All of the seafood was overcooked, the rice undercooked, and the consistency of the gumbo was too thin. The pecan pie was absolutely dreadful. Too much molasses. It looked like the filling was pitch. All of the drinks were inappropriately priced. It was around 5 and the volume was unbearable from a nearby table that appeared to have been over served. The only thing nice I have to say is that the ambiance was appealing.
Wonderful ambiance and exceptional food. Highly recommend.
Great menus. But food was over flavored. Not very French-like
The portion sizes were small and extremely expensive. I finished my meal in less than 5 minutes.
Great meal. Haven't been in a few years. Will go bad again. Great place to go pre-theater at McCaw Hall.
The shrimp and andoullie was great, portions we're very small for the price. Drinks were good tho. But don't go during happy hour on a Saturday cause apparently it's only on weekdays.
Everything was fantastic. The food was exceptional, thought we were in the French quarter again
We came early in the morning and didn’t have to wait long. The service was good and the food was delicious. Prices were reasonable considering quality. Very happy with our experience. Definitely recommend it to try.
My girlfriend and I had a great time celebrating her birthday
Be aware that the happy hour prices are just for the bar area. The food was absolutely delicious!
Food was ok serving size horrible for the price. Ordered the shrimp with grits and andouille sausage, literally five shrimp the grits where runny more like soup consistency and the andouille was pretty much non existent. Don’t mind paying for a meal but this was horrible plus to top it off a restaurant like this this w these prices serving an old fashioned w cubed ice instead of the traditional bigger chunk ice cube. Definitely will not go back or recommend this place
Excellent food from local farms at a surprisingly reasonable price. My market salad had lots of fresh herbs, perfectly cooked asparagus and green beans, and a delicious dressing. Everyone in my group raved about their meal. Dinner portions were perfect but the desserts were too large for one person. The attention to detail in the decor creates a beautiful environment to celebrate a special occasion.
The food was delicious, a bit expensive for a couple of the dishes, but delightful company so who cares! It is a loud, rambunctious atmosphere, so be prepared for a lot of chatter! But energetic and fun. Service was spot on - fast, friendly and professional. Fun times!
Authentic delicious food and great drinks.
Toulouse's Petit Kitchen & Lounge was absolutely amazing. The food was to die for, the ambience was an absolute vibe. The timing of when the plates came perfect and not to mention the TASTE? OMG . Absolutely Astounding. My Friends and I came for my Birthday and made it a mission to come back for happy hour because the hurricanes were just that GOOD. My friends have been bugging me about coming there again ever since the 21st of March. It hasn't even been that long lol . The hospitality here was beyond a other experiences I've had in the Area. It's Def a recommend. Everyone has to experience it .
I really enjoyed our experience at Toulouse. The ambience was spectacular, the staff was attentive, and best of all, the food was spectacular. We ordered the fried chicken, jambalaya, and the fried green tomatoes. I think the fried green tomatoes stole the show! The cocktails were super delicious as well. I had the honey badger and my brother had the winter moon mule. Great time!
The flavors are GREAT! The service team is very sweet but it can get loud and they dont hear everything you say. So make sure you have them repeat what you said back to you to ensure your order is right. With that being said, we got some nice surprises that were delish.
