They have horrible customer service which starts at the level of the greeters/hostesses. I’ve never encountered such rudeness and apathy for their guest. After that point it was hard for them to redeem themselves.
Service was really slow and haphazard. Took a long time for food to arrive. Waiter was frequently AWOL. Couldn’t get time drunk service. Ambience was nice. And the feel of the place is very French.
we love coming in and celebrating our special occasions ~ how about a DJ
Beautiful place & amazing food!!
The atmosphere was devine for my brunch date with a friend. They made the best lemon drop martini I’ve tasted in Houston! It was made with fresh squeezed lemons and was mixed perfectly. The brunch dishes were a perfect portion size and the sorbet with berries was a pleasant way to finish off our meal.
We booked here for our anniversary, as always we had a great time and the service was VIP. Thank you for the great time
Great food and amazing music. Love it
After announcing that on Tu evening, all French wines are 1/2 price, it is simply unacceptable then to sneak the full price on the bill to be splitted, perhaps expecting neither party to catch it.
After I suggested that perhaps as a way to apologize the wine could be complimentary, no worse a suggestion than what had happened, it was ignored with no apologies when leaving.
Love the place. Food and service always Excellent. Thank you Pedro for your warm Welcome.
We have dined here many times. Today the Charred octopus was rubbery. They immediately replaced it with another dining option and brought us a complimentary dessert. The staff is wonderful. This is a regular lunch spot for us.
Was a little disappointed when server brought us water and two of the glasses had lipstick stain on them. Wouldn’t expect this carelessness from a Resturant of this level. Other than that food and location is outstanding.
Excellent food and service!! Always a delightful restaurant experience!
Excellent food and Service. Thank you Pedro, as always you are such a good host. It is such a delight to see your warm welcoming smile.
THe food is good and the place is beautiful. The service was bad. The waiter had a bad attitude.
Last time we were there the service was bad too...
Our son 30 TH birthdays
Food was "blah" at best. If the intent of the restaurant is to be faux brasserie they may want to take a tip or two from Balthazar in NYC
A group of six ladies met for our regular restaurant Ladies Night Out. We have heard great things and want to try it out. The manager welcomed us warmly, waitstaff were very professional and delivered great service. We tried the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu, even the drink pairing was full-sized. Everything was delicious. The best of all, the Michelin Star Chef came out and met us personally and chatted with our table. We felt very special. Food, ambiance, service all a 5-star!!! Will definitely come again.
The location was actually very nice, in an upscale shopping district. Great hang out place. Very cute restaurant. Reminds me of a cute french cafe. The food was mediocre. Nothing that WOWed me, honestly. Service was great! It was a bit too loud for my liking though and the seating was a bit too cramped as well.
Great spot for business lunch, girls' lunch, day date, or group dining event. Service is excellent. Restaurant & bar pick up at night so it can be quit loud for a romantic date. Menu is diverse, notable items are the marnier mussels (entree version w/pomme frites), Toulouse and nicoise salad, escargot, and charcuterie. Excellent wine offerings and bar service.
We had a decent experience. Food seemed a bit too average for the price point. Spent about $150 for two. I am not sure it was a whole lot better then Chili’s. I absolutely recommend giving them a try at least once. Our order did not contain any of the less traditional foods from the French kitchen.
Excellent food and environment. The service was over the top.
While Toulouse was enjoyable and the food good, most menu items are grossly overpriced. Also, the noise level is very high.
steak was chewy as was beef bourgignon. . .. escargot and profiteroles were excellent.
Excelente todo , los escargot buenísimos
Went for HRW and the food was quite good. Only real complaint is the music. They were playing 80’s rock, sometimes heavy rock, so it was annoying since it doesn’t jive with the ambience and the French bistro feel.
Very disappointed in this restaurant. The food was kess than mediocre.
Good food and good service. Hard to find if you’ve never been and expensive valet. Use the parking garage.
Excellent as always! Lovely spot, wine, and Charcuterie. Service was gracious and attentive but not intrusive.
We were surprised at how really delicious the food was. We were there on Monday which is half price French wine night
I had the duck. Really wonderful
Overall a good experience. Prix fixe menue a good buy.
I wasn’t done eating a very good lobster bisque when they brought the duck confit. That shouldn’t happen in a high end place.
But I will visit again
Fabulous French bistro. Fashionable, great location, great food, great date spot and fun with friends. I’ve done girls lunch and date night! Love it!
I do love Toulouse, it is my "Go to" client/business lunch spot. We also take several friends and family members there. Love their burger and frites.
We celebrated my grandmother’s 98th birthday and they treated her like a queen. They brought her a dessert with a sparkler and a glass of bubbles. She was so surprised! I can’t thank them enough for making this a very memorable celebration for us.
2nd time we have been to Toulouse and we are still very impressed. Their selections are decent. But make sure before you finish your entrée to save room for dessert. By far the best soufflé in all of Houston. Match it up with a Cappuccino for even better results.
I have a reservation but was seated right next to the entrance, I don’t see the point of making reservation but got assigned to a seat that doesn’t need one.
The food was delicious and it was quite reminiscent of France. But it was so noisy that we could
barely hear each other across the table.
Excellent food and service. Restaurant needs to update its online menu to conform with in-house menu.
Came here for a bday dinner during Restaurant Week. Everyone’s food was very good , large portions and a diverse menu. Lively scene on a Thursday night. Excellent service, a bit loud.
This was our second time going there and it did not disappoint. Service is wonderful, a great cocktail and wine list and the food is delicious.
One of the managers made a point to come speak with us and sent over a free desert as well.
Looking forward to going back again.
