   Noisy. Loud jazz. Service was okay. French onion soup not special. Will try once more and try something else on the menu.

   Visited Touché French Creole tonight & you’d never know they just opened earlier this month! The decor felt swanky & cool. My cosmo, French onion soup & beef bourguignon were delicious. Service was great. Well done, Touché Team… I will be back for sure!

   I came to this place 2 days in a row….yes the food was just that good. Kisses to the chef! Every dish I tried my plate was clean. First day was brunch, I started with an espresso martini and I’m not a cognac Girl (my fault because I didn’t look at the menu before ordering it) so I didn’t really drink it cause it was a little too strong for me. I had the gumbo, very flavorful and just enough spice. The banana fosters French toast, 10/10 the shrimp and grits, perfect… the second day I came for dinner and had the fried green tomatoes, love the twist with the peppers and corn.. great compliment to the sauce. And lastly the amazing fried catfish with collards and jambalaya. Crispy fish and savory sauce drizzled over the fish from the jambalaya that was nestled under the collards and the fish. OMG! Amazing! You all did not disappoint from the food, to the great service, from everyone ( I love how everyone is on one accord) and the ambiance, my new favorite restaurant and I’ll definitely be back soon.

   Friendly staff and owner; great ambience. Very tasty food considering they have just opened - Creole/South Louisiana cuisine is difficult and they want to do it right. Looking forward to going back soon.

   We enjoyed our first experience at Touché French Creole very much. We loved the food and the drinks, despite the fact that I ordered a Cosmo and received a Lemon Drop! But I love both of them, so all was well! Our waiter, Marco, was efficient and timely. Our meals of the Maple Glazed salmon and Beef Bourgeon was superb and we devoured every bite. The prices are reasonable and the decor was beautiful. We will return !

   I really wanted to love this place. I went there for brunch on a Sunday with some friends. We were seated right away. The waitress was sweet and took our drinks order about 10 minutes after being seated. We then placed our food order. The restaurant was about half full when we were there. After about 45 minutes we flagged down our server and she apologized for the wait. She said the kitchen was behind on orders. After an hour half of our food came out. There was 4 of us in our party. 15 minutes later the rest of our food arrived. The food was not hot. The steaks very tender but lacked seasoning. Overall the food was a 6.5 out of 10. Maybe they need some time to get the kinks out since they're new.

   The ambiance was beautiful. Our server,I believe her name was Danae. She was very nice. Today was the first day they served brunch.( Hope they’ll add Fried Green Tomatoes) I had Shrimp and Grits. They were good but felt like it was missing something that would make it stand out more as far as flavor in the grits. I would get it again though. Berry Crepes was so refreshing. My husband had the gumbo. It had chicken and sausage (andouille). That was good,had lots of flavor, and a slight kick.(Nothing overwhelming). Now the least favorite we tried was the shrimp etouffee crepes. The etouffee was a little on the bland side. It wasn’t flavorful like the other dishes. Overall, it was a very nice dining experience for Aurora. Will be back again.

    So excited about Aurora IL offering this cuisine. Great Food. Slight recommendation; please allow a little more time between appetizers and dinner.
