Terra restaurant is located at Tottington Manor which is beautifully situated in the South Downs National Park with hillside and farmland views, yet it is just 10 minutes from the A23 at Pyecombe and the A27 at Shoreham.

With a menu showcasing the best of local ingredients cooked fresh each day by our team of chefs, you can enjoy dinner in the restaurant, or outside on our decking, or in winter time, choose our more relaxed fire side Olive Restaurant.

In addition we have a number of private dining options available from 6 to 95.

Our South Downs Suite is completely separate with its own private garden, stretch tent and bar and is ideal for family celebrations, parties and of course Weddings. Come and be part of the VE Day 80th Anniversary Celebrations where our Chefs have prepared a very special Afternoon Tea Menu and an English Garden Spritz on arrival. Come and listen to Sussex Historian Stewart Angell who will present a video tour of the underground tunnels here at The Manor and will talk about the vital role Sussex and our Sussex people played in the war effort. Nice venue and good service but food very average, 30 pounds fish platter with 3 prawns, two tiny fishcakes and a small amount of crab meat. Pie also small and chips cooked in old oil. A shame was much better last time we came.

Hi Christopher, I am sorry you didn't enjoy your food as much this time you visited. There's a lot that goes into making the fish board and because we choose really high quality ingredients the cost has to reflect that. The pie is made with sirloin beef and Hawkstone ale and handmade on site each day. I have looked into the oil and it wasn't that it was old, our supplier had changed the oil, but we have got it changed back to our usual oil now, did you speak to the team when you were in the restaurant who would've helped.

We really enjoyed our lunch and felt the food was all first class. The only slight negative was that we didn't really have much of a 'view of the South Downs' and from what we could see none of the tables did. We specifically appreciated the special attention to the birthday - a glass of prosecco, a slice of cheesecake and being sung to, all on the house!

Hi Jon, glad you had a great visit and enjoyed the food, we are in the South Downs National Park, so the views out of the windows of the restaurant, the decking and the downs suite all look over the hills and fields. With summer now almost on us, the best spot is outside on our decking where you can really enjoy the countryside views.

Service was very very slow working long waits for food.especially dessert -45 minutes Dining room was noisy with young children Had tri of desserts and was told one of the desserts had been substituted with mini apple crumble. When it arrived the substitution was something else entirely and had I have known would not have chosen this dessert. Would have sent it back but waited so long for it I had lost interest. We also ordered coffee with the dessert which arrived immediately but was cold and long gone by the time dessert arrived. Very disappointed

Another fantastic meal at TM. The team are all so lovely and welcoming, the food is an absolute treat. Local ingredients beautiful new menu.. The location is exceptional, one of the most beautiful places you could hope to be.
