Even though I made a reservation for 3 at 11:00 we still had to wait almost an hour to be seated. They were clearly not prepared for Mother’s Day.

For starters, they never brought us any appetizers. All the tables around us had chips and salsa dip, except us. We had to ask to be able to get some for our table. Then we waited almost 30 plus minutes to be able to get 2 of our plates served. We were a party of 6 and we practically all ate at different times, because to get 2 more plates served, took almost another 15 minutes. Then another 5 more to receive 1 more plate. After 50 mins, the waiter finally comes back to us to ask “is everything ok” then I said, “well, I will let you know how once I get my plate.” Everyone at my table was eating already, expect me. Its ridiculous!! It was not even at max capacity, and the waiter just asked “what was your order again?” Really?? Come on.

We arrived a bit early to our reservation, understanding it’s Valentine’s Day, it was busy as assumed. However, there was no host present to “check us in”. As we waited more people arrived to also dine and celebrate. No one acknowledged any one of us crowing the front door. Finally it was our reservation time and the “host” proceeded to seat another party that had arrived after most of us. I asked when we were going to be seated and instead of explaining that it’s busy or apologizing for the delay I was asked if I had a reservation.. I said yes and gave the time which was right on the dot. He looked at his watch and walked away. Now about 10 minutes past my reservation time, we finally get seated. Another 20-25 minutes go by and no one came to take our drink order. We ended up leaving due to the awful service. There was a live band that was awesome and the look and drinks looked amazing. As someone who works and manages a 4 star resort with 3 dining outlets, this service was unacceptable. Highly recommend to always have staff at the entrance to welcome, greet and assist. This small position goes a long way!

It was a great first time experience loved it. Food bomb asf and the drinks were delicious. Pricing for everything was good as well.

Ambience, amazing welcoming service, good quality fresh and delicious, not to mention beautiful presentation. Drinks superb! And I love the music playing. It’s just such a welcoming happy environment. It’s just what I needed. Thank you. It was an awesome date with my husband.

First time customer after seeing Tostadas wonderful coverage on Bay Area Check Please. Drinks were amazing, service was prompt and checked in often. Super tasty food-- my wife loved her chilaquiles, the Guac was amazing (we got another order to go!) the Birra tacos were great. Cant wait to return and try more! Thanks Tostadas team.

I came here to celebrate a birthday and it was the worst experience ever. Food was forgotten and never brought out, drinks were missing, other food made incorrectly. We couldn’t even get water refills. It was awful. And they were so rude about everything.

Great find in midtown. The food was XCLNT! We tried their birria pizzaola, their take on pizza/quesadilla. It was loaded with savory beef birria and cheese. One is enough to share. The other dish was their carne de jugo which is stew with pinto beans, beef, green onions , and jalapeño. This dish was so tasty. Again enough to share. Their portions were substantial. They have an extensive cocktail selection. Tried their mangodanita, a mango margarita seasoned with tahini and choya. Fruit forward drink with tangy overnotes. Overall good value. Will return again.
