We were a party of 7, celebrating my birthday. The waitress was terrible, and made a blatant attempt to jack up the bill. The food was very good, but I was not a happy patron. Be warned, this restaurant automatically added 20% to the bill, so there was little we could do as a party to show our under appreciation

This was my second visit to Toscano. It was fantastic. The service, the atmosphere, the food. Everything was top-notch.

Overall good food, well presented. The staff was efficient. One disappointment stuck out. The tomatoes used in the salad were hard, anemic and flavorless. This at a time year when tomatoes are in season. Toscanos, do better.

We have eaten at Toscano’s many times and enjoyed our meals. However, on our recent visit we were all disappointed in our meals. Shrimp was over cooked and pasta was underdone. I hope it was an off night for the kitchen staff.

This is upscale Italian dining -- but not upscale pricing. In particular, excellent Italian wines are served in generous portions well below the cost in comparable Cambridge restaurants. I am a seafood fancier; my guest was into beef. We were both very satisfied with the range of dishes offered and the quality of what we selected.
