absolutely delicious! caesar salad was excellent, carbonara was some of the best i’ve ever had, and the tiramisu was to die for! service was great and so polite. we’ll be back!

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Toscana. I had the Chilean sea bass in a saffron sauce and my wife had the parpadelle with sirloin and both dishes were delicious. The wait staff was friendly and service was great. I would recommend this restaurant.

The food at Toscana is amazing. We ordered 2 of the seafood entrees which were excellently prepared. My absolute favorite was my appetizer of Burratta. It melted in my mouth. Our server Stephen was humorous, informative and definitely knows his Italian cooking!!!

Happy to recommend Toscana for special celebrations.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT EXCEPT THE WAIT TIME FOR FOOD.

We love the broad menu, ambiance, service and quality of food. The décor in the restaurant was elegant and reminds me of restaurants we ate at in Italy and other parts of Europe. We miss the Mediteranian Sea Bass you use to serve table side. My only complaint is I think cost of the entrees were on the expensive side.

We left the restaurant before we where served!!Our reservations was for 8:30. We walked in there where no hostesses or anyone telling us where to go . We decided to go to the bar and have a drink. We told bartender we had 8:30 reservations. She responded with we are very backed up tonight. 15 minutes later I asked bartender if she had put our names in the book this way manager would know we are here. We saw there where empty tables but it seemed that there was no one in charge of what was going on in the restaurant . Bartender said that manager knew we where here. 9:25 we finally got seated at a table with no settings. We waited another 15 minutes and still no waiter or waitress or anyone. So we left and had a wonderful meal across the street at outback. Would never go back Terrible terrible service
Also the bartender didn't know how to make drinks. Waiters where telling bartender how to make drinks. Not worth your time

Food was amazing as well as service but when the bill came out I noticed there was a 43 gratuity added?!

Food was very good but way too pricey. Ordered a glass of prosecco for 12.00 and they filled a champagne flute maybe 2/3 full. Not worth it.

Very nice place. Only had one other couple in there while we were there. Quiet and enjoyable. Will def come back.

To begin with, I am not one who is prone to leave a negative review. However, our recent experience at Toscana warrants such. We were seated and asked if we would like an antipasto which we saw was $14.00. It came to the table and was a modest serving consisting of a few olives, some eggplant, portobellos, capicola, salami , parmesan, another cheese as well as mixed greens. It was good but not mind blowing.
My wife ordered the filet, I had braised lamb shank, one of my sons had shrimp with pasta while my other had scallops with risotto. The filet was nice but was not cooked rare as ordered; it was medium but still was decent. My lamb was lukewarm but had good flavor. The scallop dish was a disappointment, only 2 scallops were offered and were rubbery. The shrimp dish also only came with two shrimp and was nothing special; certainly not worth the price. We had three deserts which were good but not memorable.
When the bill came we saw we were charged for 4 antipasto plates at $12.00 each or $48.00 which I questioned the server if that was correct. He took the bill to the manager and she returned saying that it was correct and they had discounted the cost. Albeit, she was condescending and I could over hear some unkind remarks she made before addressing our table. I expressed that the cost was disproportionate to what was served and I felt that was not clearly representative of the menu.
I must add that I have no problem paying a premium for good food; this instance is an exception. For nearly $50.00 there should have been much more on the plate than what was offered.
Needless to say without any wine or adult beverages the bill was nearly $250.00 and I have had far better meals at Olive Garden for much less. As a result I will not be returning to dine at Toscana.

The food was delicious. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is subdued and inviting. Classy, high end dining.

Really not expensive and the value to quality is outstanding. Probably best Italian in Volusia county along with the cellar.

Best veal dish ever!

Wonderful chef! Best lobster ravioli we have ever had— and we are Italian! The bolognese sauce is truly superb! Only down side is that wine is a little pricey and service is European . We will be back again and again!

Went for NYE dinner, no prices listed for Prix Fix dinner on OT or printed menu of the evening. Waited 1.5hrs to make it through the first
of our four course dinner. Notified owner who disagreed with my timepiece, then proceeded to rush the next 3 courses in 35 minutes. Food was lukewarm. Not worth 85/pp. Our server was very nice, but we felt a bit forgotten in the first 1.5hrs. Will not return.

Outstanding, freshly prepared Italian specialties with wonderful wine list to accompany the meal. Tony and Kathy know how to make you feel special. They will not disappoint.

LOVELY VENUE service was excellent. This is a special occasion restaurant for us but it does not make you feel as though you need to be dressed for a Saturday evening event. We enjoyed the food and the staff.

Our only complaint is that the online menu featured items that weren't available on the dinner menu and of course, those were the items we had planned to order.

Was pleasantly surprised to find Toscana on a recent visit to the Daytona area. Living in San Francisco, my expectations of restaurants are high. However, Chef Tony and his wife Kathy completely blew my mind with their impeccably created daily menu, amazing service and overall five star experience. The food and service was so good I brought the family back for a second visit the same week. The wine list is very well thought out and as with any great restaurant, I strongly suggest turning everything over (menu, wine) to the chef. His on the fly creations and wine pairings were superb. I can not recommend Toscana enough. I will happily return just to dine with them.

The food dining and atmosphere was impeccable at Toscana. Im sad that we only found it now. My husband and I went for our 11th anniversary and this was by far the best dinner we have ever had in this type of atmosphere/environment for the occasion . The Chef was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the evening delightful. I would highly recommend the rack of lamb and fettuccini bolagnase. Perfect for date night .

We had a very nice evening at Toscano. The restaurant staff were most attentive and we were able to enjoy the ambiance with quiet conversation. There were many choices for our vegetarian friends and the food was cooked to perfection.

Visting in town and made reservations for my husband's birthday because they advertised bananas foster for dessert!. Food was good and service was very attentive- considering we were the only table there! The dessert was made tableside and was very good, but surprised by the expense! (No prices were shown for dessert menu) I was also surprised there was not more of a crowd for dinner.

Average food , limited menu . Price was probably nearly double its value for this quality.Would not recommend .

This is one of, if not the best, restaurant in Ormond Beach. The food is handcrafted and it shows. Even the mozzarella is made in-house (burratina). The bread is fantastic. The service is impeccable. Always feel more family than customer there. Quiet, pleasant surroundings - never rushed. If they offer the Branzino fresh...get it. Always a great idea to order one of their pasta dishes and split it between two people...then move on to a meat or fish dish.

Service and atmosphere were wonderful however the menu was very disappointing...the menu that was available on our visit was not the menu posted on Open Table or the restaurant's website...the summer menu had a limited number of options...additionally we were informed by the chef that there were no shrimp or snapper dishes available that evening which limited our choices even more...although the food was fine, it was a disappointing visit

Amazing service and food! Steve did a wonderful job with recommending our menu the entire night. Deserves 6 stars on a scale of 1 to 5!!

This was our second time dining here. The food is excellent and the chef welcomes you as if you are a welcome guest in his home. The chef prepared caesar salad tableside, which was unlike any caesar salad I've ever had. The balance of flavors was perfect -- including hand chopped anchovies -- and it was not the least bit gloppy like so many caesar salads can be. The chef asked us if we had questions about the menu and was happy to make recommendations. Two of us had the veal entree, which was tender and perfectly seasoned and cooked. One of us had the filet which was also perfectly cooked and elevated by a very tasty barolo reduction. I also appreciate that small sides of whipped potatoes and vegetables were included with the entree, making a complete well-sized meal rather than a litany of oversized add on dishes to have something other than a protein. We ended the evening with tableside bananas foster -- so old school, but still so good. The atmosphere is a throwback in time to a traditional Italian restaurant. Of note is an elevator to the second floor for those who can't use the stairs. We called ahead to make sure it was working for my mother who uses a walker.

I'd definitely go back and recommend this restaurant. The chef was very interactive and friendly, the food was very good. A restaurant where you can hear your friends across the table (what a nice change!) They offered pasta with octopus (which I've never seen in Florida). I've only had this once when in Spain. No, it wasn't as wonderful as Spain, which I didn't expect. But it was a very good meal. I ate every bite. I loved that he offered different dishes than the norm. Our guest is still talking about the awesome lamb chops.

This was our second visit to Toscana and we had a wonderful evening with another couple, who were excited to try a new restaurant. The staff did not disappoint. It was a quiet night (Monday) and we had a wonderful spot for good food, good conversation and excellent service. A big treat was the table-side preparation of the fresh catch which had been specially treated with salt. The fish was delicious as were the other entrees, salads and desserts. The staff were fantastic and we enjoyed meeting the owners who oversaw the whole evening.

It is also nice to relax in a lovely restaurant and not feel rushed-very European. We highly recommend Toscana.

We received the best service we have ever had during our dinner at the Toscana! The owner himself attended our table by the terrace. The presentation was great and portions were perfect to satisfy our want. The menu has a variety of options to please anyone's palate. Great ambiance!

The food was awesome just like being in Italy. Great service, very friendly and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
