This was such a great find! Visiting Charlotte for a business trip and staying nearby. The food was amazing! Definitely try the Buttera, it was a hit with our whole group! We loved that the food was very authentic, they had a great wine list, and the service was awesome! We will definitely be back.
Husband had filet and misto salad, I had Positano (rock shrimp and penne) and arugula/pear salad. Both were delicious.
The food was outstanding as usual. Was a bit disappointed in the service. The waiter seemed to be having a bad day and had somewhat of a bad attitude. Too good of a place to allow this to happen.
Very good experience
Always yummy! Had reservations for party of 6 and per our suggestion, we were seated outside. Lovely weather! Apps, drinks and food were excellent. Was a busy night but overall, service was pretty good. 3 of us at the table had the risotto special- and it never disappoints.
Fantastic food and service. Feels like you're in Italy!
We were greeted & seated immediately when we walked in. The food, wine, and service were top notch.
We brought some out-of-town guests to this restaurant for a fun night. Great atmosphere, great service, great pasta dishes. We will definitely return.
Great food. Service was a little too fast. Felt slightly rushed. Everything else was great. Great place for a date.
We have been going to Augusto’s restaurants since his first place on Selwyn, but never for a holiday. The Easter Brunch menu was very nice. Plenty of food; all delicious. The crab crusted branzino was outstanding.
The server was terrific and recommended an outstanding but reasonable Italian Chardonnay-the Antinori Bramito.
Chose Toscana for Easter Sunday brunch. Generally really enjoy Toscana but was disappointed. The menu showed three appetizer selections and three dessert selections in addition to the entrée choices. We weren't allowed to choose our appetizers or dessert. Instead we were brought one of each, so one appetizer and two desserts went to waste because no one would eat those particular selections. Our entrees, however, were very good.
We were surprised to be able to get a table on fairly short notice (thank you Open Table). I had the bone-in veal chop. A little different in that it was tenderized, breaded and fried and finished very creatively. My wife ordered the risotto (special that night) and we were both delighted. This is not a stuffy white glove kinda place. But its very tasteful, the staff was really on top of their game, and the wine list, while not too extensive, had numerous great offerings. Pleasant, relaxing environment. Glad to recommend it and we will go back .
Outstanding crab encrusted grouper, the best I have ever tasted. Superb dining experience as usual.
Great house-made pasta dishes. First class dining experience.
Each time we come to Charlotte it’s a must to dine at Toscana and the reason would be they do a great job with food and service. This time was no exception, thanks for another great meal.
Great fun evening - excellent food & service. This Restaurant always delivers a very good experience.
Any time I am in Charlotte I try to visit Toscana's. My favorite thing is the meringue dessert
We put a note that it was our anniversary & they had a special table set up with champagne upon our arrival, then surprised us with a delicious dessert after! The food was excellent and they went above and beyond to make our evening special! Thank you!
Had an excellent dinner and Sandi was a great server and really gave us a pleasant experience.
Great food, great service. The best Italian in Charlotte
Outstanding. Great ambiance, food and wine. Cozy and friendly.
Love this restaurant. Service is great - food is wonderful!
The best Italian restaurant in Charlotte, NC. Great service, authentic cuisine and perfect Italian ambience.
The food and service was outstanding.
Great Italian wines!
Toscana is one of our favorite restaurants in Charlotte.
It is totally dependable for food, service, cordiality and an overall good time.
The pasta is always expertly prepared, as are the other dishes.
My wife has a number of allergies...gluten, dairy (including butter), shellfish, strawberries and tomatoes. She never has a problem finding something outstanding to enjoy.
My business colleagues and I have been coming here for many, many years!!! Literally ever dining experience has been EXCELLENT!!!
V Day...... superb!
Truly refreshing to dine in a restaurant with excellent service and high quality food. While we have dined in their sister restaurant uptown, Luce, this was our first visit to Toscana.
Fresh, house made pasta. Amazing dinner specials, in addition to the regular menu. This is a gem of a restaurant in the South Park area. Although it was our first dinner at Toscana for a spontaneous date night, we will definitely become regulars.
Excellent ambiance. .service..and the food was delicioso!!!..
The food is always great. the halibut special and the branzino were excellent We enjoyed being in the back room as it is quieter and less crowded bring away from the bar.
My friend's veal francais was sooo tough, hard to eat. My meal of chicken (parmigiana ish) was loaded with oregano, way too much. Would not return.
Wife and I were with terrific company so all was well, but the maitre d made our arrival and seating very awkward. Can't compare it to any experience at any nice restaurant. Particularly Italian. Usually treated warmly. Very strange. Waitress was efficient but average, nothing great. Everybody liked food.
My first time to Toscana Ristorante Italiano. Was recommended by my client. We had a dinner meeting with five attendees. Service, food and ambiance were excellent.
Great time. We had a party of five for a birthday celebration. Our server was wonderful and provided excellent guidance for both food and wine options. Our first time there and all five voted to return.
Been comming to Toscana for many years and have never been disapointed.
It was restaurant week, so you never know what to expect! There was no wait and no rushing us to finish! All four of us cleaned our plates! I’m sure our server thought we had not eaten in a week! The asparagus appetizer was fantastic and the burrata salad was too! Eggplant ravioli was wonderful. If you love tiramisu, their’s is the best! Chocolate torte was delish too! Our server was delightful; she had tons of personality!
Service was great! They were a little over zealous for removing dishes before we were finished eating. Food was great!
Toscana is always a reliable place for dinner. Our Queens Feast experience was not what we have come to expect from what I think is the best restaurant in Charlotte.
