We enjoyed Toscana so much! The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere is extremely nice and comfortable, too. We look forward to visiting Toscana again on our next trip to Amarillo.

We had a table of four. everybody’s plate came out and was delicious, well received and no complaints. However, the filet mignon was supposed to be medium, and for whatever reason the grill master could not get it correct. The first time it came out it was well done, the second time it came out it was blue raw and the third time it came out one side was burnt, and the other side was still blue raw. After three times of trying, I gave up and left the restaurant as hungry as I went in. Obviously, the meal was compensated, but no substitutions or can I get you something else? It was I’m just not gonna charge you for the plate. So I was very disappointed and hungry by the time we left the restaurant that night.

While I’m glad the rest of your table enjoyed their meals, it’s unacceptable that we failed to prepare your filet correctly after multiple attempts—and even more disappointing that no alternative was offered. Beautiful atmosphere, great food, and absolutely perfect service by Evelyn. Would recommend the filet mignon with steamed vegetables and turtle cheesecake to everyone.

The most overpriced buffet I have ever had. Poor selection of food. The breakfast part looked good, but I got the prime rib and there weren’t any vegetables. Only salads. Paid $65 for a slice of prime rib and some breakfast potatoes with a salad. Won’t be going back next year!!!

Food was great, but since there was not a dedicated room large enough to hold the brunch in, elements like the carving table and desserts were located across the lobby and we never knew they were there. Maybe next year, use some of the bar area for brunch stations instead. Service was a little spotty, though the dining area was never busy enough to say that heavy traffic was holding up waiters and waitresses. The food though was great, and everyone was friendly. Fresh shrimp and the omelette bar were a hit!

I’ve experienced several good dinners at Toscana in the past, but breakfast for Mother’s Day was completely disappointing. The Eggs Benedict (both the traditional and the caprese) was totally bland—complete lack of seasoning. The caprese was supposed to come with fresh basil, but only after being served and asking why it was missing were we informed that they didn’t have any fresh basil. Meanwhile, the staff was very slow and inattentive. They seemed to be distracted preparing a delicious-looking spread for a different event in the hotel lobby. For $100, I would expect a breakfast that didn’t seem like IHOP-level catering in a pretty setting. This was not the Toscana experience I’ve had in the past, and I’m not planning on being back any time soon.

First time visit for my 34th birthday. I had high expectations given the vibe and price. Unfortunately, the stellar service by Evelyn and classy Frank Sinatra tunes didn’t save the blunders from the kitchen. My petite filet mignon was medium-well instead of medium-rare, took forever for not being that busy, and the Cacio e Pepe I ordered to make up for the steak was not up to snuff, either. The noodles were undercooked and the sauce was bland and watery. Also, my server said I could sub mash for the mushroom risotto (which was the only noteworthy dish!) but I still got charged for a full side, so I got snubbed my full value. Thankfully the Zeppoles were phenomenal and it salvaged a mostly-sunken ship of a fine-dining experience. Way overpriced for the flavor. I’m usually not disappointed but this kitchen was a flop.

Wow!! From the moment we got there til we left we had the best service and felt so at home. The atmosphere was very intimate but not so much that we felt out of place. Our waitress was on top of things. The drinks were perfect and the food was out of this world. Hands down the best restaurant in Amarillo serving up some delicious meals. I can’t wait to go back and try more entrees! You won’t be disappointed one bit!
