Everything was great . The food was well prepared and delicious and the service impeccable. A great DC Italian dining experience. I'm from out of state but will definitely dine again when in the Capital.
Great food great service. The best in DC
Attractive bar and dining area, attentive staff. Excellent service and food. Wine list covers a wide range of tastes and pocketbooks.
This meal was a beautiful escape
Excellent food, authenic Italian with ambience to match. Waiter was engaging and left us with a memorable meal.
Efficient impersonal service in a boring space. Imagine dropping $ 125 pp to eat at the airport. The menu is available online, so no surprise that everything is a la carte. But come on, five button sized pieces of zucchini and a smear of root vegetable paste to accompany a $52 steak. A side dish of pasta finally showed up after half of the meal was eaten.
Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable also happened to be Italian so he enhanced our overall experience. The food was superb and the service was perfect.
Great food, service but expensive. Well located close principal hitoric sites , no parking
Tosca never fails to exceed expectations. From top-notch service to inventive and tasty menu items. Fresh fish are spectacular.
First time there- absolutely amazing!
The food and service was excellent . We were placed as a table of 2 across from each other and if we did not scream at each other we could not be heard because of the table of six behind us . It appeared he who buys the most wine can speak the loudest .
Umberto provided excellent service and I returned for another meal within a few days. His wine recommendation was spot on too.
Lovely staff and fantastic food. Tagliatelle (home made) with wild boar ragù one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had.
Great, very tasty food! Great location and decor! We would recommend it!
We had an early dinner at Tosca before a theater performance at Ford's. This was an excellent choice. The food and service were excellent and our server was mindful of our time commitment. Highly recommend Tosca, especially if you are going to Ford's Theatre before or after dinner.
Great food, quite environment
Wonderful food and service. Pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
It was my family’s first time in DC and everybody loved the restaurant and the pasta. My favorite part was the chocolate cake desert! Loved this place.
I often dine at Tosca for lunches and am always very impressed. I chose Tosca for dinner as it was my wife's birthday. Outstanding food and service. We were provided with a great booth and Pavel was helpful and entertaining. Tremendous food and service will keep me coming back.
Service and food were great
Tosca is the place for refined Italian cuisine! It's a bit pricey, but worth it for a splurge evening. Love their pastas--and you can get a half-order as an appetizer. If the ravioli stuffed with short ribs is on the menu, go for it!
Best Italian restaurant in DC- hands down. Great intimate atmosphere, perfect dimmer lighting ... and the food.... it’s out of this world. Italian chefs and staff make you feel like you are eating authentic food in Italy!! Hard to find in DC.
This is what service is all about. Dined with my wife and 12 year old. Old world all the way. Food was superbly prepared; very knowledgeable and attentive server. Great wine list. Cannot recommend more highly.
Pricey, but not overpriced, considering the impeccable service, and excellent food.
Very good Italian restaurant with excellent service and a nice ambiance.
Tosca remains excellent year after year. Delicious food, impeccable service, and conducive to a conversation.
Friendly good food and excellent service
Very accommodating to our special requests
Food, wine and service...Fantastic
High end Italian, but well worth it both in terms of food and service quality. Perhaps best pappardelle ever. Many pasta and meat and always fish choices. Wait staff has excellent knowledge and training. Relax, enjoy.
One of my favorite DC venues —always delicious and excellent service .
Perfect pre or Post theater as it is close to Ford’s, Warner and the National Theater .
Butter sage ravioli is amazing !!
Food was great. Service a little slow. But fun night.
Tosca's has changed for the better since my last visit in 2017. No more rude Maitre d', no more mediocre pre- theater dinner. The menu is classy and the well served. My only complaint is the lighting. It is not low and romantic; it is not bright and cheerful. It is simply dull even after the renovation.
Great dining experience. Food was wonderful! Service excellent!
Delicious Italian dishes and sauce flavors. Excellent service and nice quiet ambiance. Very good value for excellent food.
Great elegant service with personable waiters who make you feel comfortable. Excellent meal choices with knowledgable staff.. Great wine list with lovely port selection.
Delicious meal filled with interesting specials only surpassed by the wonderful service. Looking forward to next time.
Consistently good food. I go there fairly often for lunch for special occasions, but had never been with my husband. He really enjoyed the Fois Gras and pastas.
The tiramisu is ok. It has changed over the years (was off the menu for a bit). The new version is not as good as the previous one. We felt this one has too much liquid.
Outstanding food and service. Great place to celebrate all occasions.
Fantastic food and service! Excellent expedience albeit pricey.
Food was delicious but not really worth it, IMO. Brussel sprouts for app, two drinks and two pasta entrees for $160 w/ tip.
