   The food was incredible, amazing rolls and great fish. We were stuck in a corner seat with hardly any room to get in and out. 10+ mins for server to come around for drinks order. Server also broke a bottle off of our table. Drinks orders took a while to come out. I would go again and sit at the bar, but I don’t think it is worth it for a date night.

   We were expecting hibachi with the chefs cooking in front of you which is why I’m giving it 4 stars because of our expectations. The food was good. Pretty tight with seating, you can hear your neighbors conversations.

   The menu was very complete for the various Japanese foods Americans expect including habachi, Raman and sushi. They had a good sake selection. Service was fast and everything tasted great.

   Needed a quick dinner place near GWU and decided on this restaurant for convenience. However, food was so bad that we ended up walking out without touching most of the sushi and grabbing fast food for dinner. Sushi quality was so bad, salmon seemed old, tuna was dark purple, and king salmon was just greasy - all raw fish. Hamachi was falling apart in the ponzu sauce. Ramen is probably the safest choice - we ordered both the spicy and the non-spicy ramen. Spicy ramen was the only dish we ended up finishing. Very disappointing for a +$175 meal. Our server was attentive, but it didn't make up for the disappointing food quality.

   Staff was friendly. Food is delicious but overpriced I think. Rice in rolls was sticky and a bit dry. My friend liked the pork ramen. Overall I had a good experience

    Good food I recently dined at Toryumon and had a great sushi experience. The calm atmosphere matched the delicious flavors. The fish and rice were prepared just right. The special rolls were creative and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the meal even better. Toryumon is a good visit for anyone who loves sushi and wants a pleasant dining experience. It is a spot I will be returning to for more sushi and Japanese food.
