I had the veal Marsala and my husband the pasta w/meatballs. Both delicious. Blueberry pana cotta outstanding. Lovely decor.
As always, food is consistently good, service is polite, knowledgeable, attentive. We took guests and they were very impressed.
Celebrating a graduation
Presentation on everything is just fabulous
Salad so fresh - ravioli was outrageous the sauce and delicate pasta delicious
Coconut flan for desert. So good
My new fav restaurant!
Beautiful restaurant and beautiful food presentation.
Ambiance is just lovely, this is a gem in an otherwise underserved community. This was our 5th visit, each time bring family and friends to enjoy. The service is handsprings beyond what is expected. Absolutely fine dining care without the pretentiousness that comes with some noteworthy restaurants in Fauquier county.
Food was spot on.
Our grand children needed a speedy plain cheese pizza while we decided on drinks and apps. It came shockingly fast and was gobbled up just as quickly.
We ordered prosciutto and melon, son had a tuna tartare with sweet potato crisps.
Lunch was tagliatelle bolognese, so fresh and flavorful. Husband enjoyed a smallish serving of veal Marsala with whipped potatoes. No problem, he finished my large pasta. Son ordered rockfish with potatoes and wood grilled asparagus, daughter lived her pizza marguerita all accompanied yummy a great Pinot Grigio and Peroni. Perfecto!
We will be back!
We asked the duck to be rare but came well done.....otherwise everything was fine
This restaurant is a Manassas hidden gem. I'll definitely be going back!
Exceptional quality- exquisite presentation- staff works together- hidden gem. Dined the night prior to a wedding a bristow manor.
Nice place, in an odd area.
Service was great but the food portions were extremely small and just not worth the price paid.
Food was outstanding! A hidden gem in Manassas. The server was pleasant and friendly, she appeared to be the only server working. Dessert menu should be brought up the level of the food.
Enjoyable Fathers Day dinner, good food and great service.
Tucked away in the older part of Manassas Park across from a newish police station, there is a little restaurant in a strip mall called Tortino Mare. I was surprised to find the inside very beautifully decorated and spacious.
The food and service were professional, and had all the makings of a true Italian restaurant experience. The server seemed new at this type of dining as I let her know we wanted to have appetizers before we ordered our dinner. It seemed to dwindle as the meal went on - having to ask other wait staff for the check, but that wasn't a deal breaker.
The food was superb - I had the veal marsala, delicious!
Unfortunately, I don't think I'd come here again - mostly due to its location. But I'd let others who are foodies know that they have excellent food.
The prices are about the same as they'd be in Tyson's area, and for that I would have liked a more comfortable experience.
One big red flag, besides its location was the restaurant was extremely, uncomfortably hot - and took about an hour to cool down, which made drinking red wine less appealing as sweat was evident.
Loved it plan on going back. Do not need to go to DC or anywhere else.
Beautiful dining area and the entire wait staff were absolutely perfect. I am from North Carolina and i will dine here again when i come back to Manassas. The food was outstanding i highly recommend this restaurant.
Best kept secret in Manassas! The restaurant is a gem, don't let the outside fool you. Pasta is home made and heavenly, service is 5-star all the way.
Nice little restaurant in a very surprising location in a strip mall. Excellent Italian food and great service. Servers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a little pricy, but the food is worth it.
We showed up for our reservation and the restaurant was closed. They may be out of business.
Outstanding food in a pleasant, quiet, gracious setting. A bit of a surprise given it’s location but definitely worth the trip. Portobello mushrooms, veal Marsala, lamb ravioli and tiramisu were all excellent. Highly recommend.
I enjoyed a wonderful homemade pasta was good fish and my husband had veal masala that was perfectly cooked and not overwhelmed by sauce. Prices were reasonable for the quality.
Excellent service and food every time.
The food and service was terrific. Have referred the restaurant to my clients and friends.
Great experience in a modest but well run gem or a place. Interesting Northern Italian menu, excellent service, attentive without being fussy. We enjoyed our meals and the semifreddo dessert was superb. We dined early on Sunday evening, the dining room was not busy. Glad we visited, our comment was we would need to return to explore more of the very interesting menu.
The service and ambiance were excellent. The specials are always a winner, and they didn’t disappoint with their Cavatelli with Lamb Ragu. Amazing dish.
This is a great restaurant for a special occasion or just a night out.
The food here is always great, but the prices keep us from going regularly.
Great food and great service. Prices very reasonable for the quality.
Amazing food and great service. We will most certainly be back!
We had the tricolor salad, the calamari, and each of us tried a different main dish. Everything was perfect.
Fantastic meal! Superb from start to finish! The wait staff was attentive without hovering and allowed us to enjoy our meal without a lot of interruptions. I highly recommend this quaint, unassuming "gem" in the heart of Manassas Park.
The food is prepared by a professional chef. All the dishes we had were delicious.. and attractively presented. Definitely would recommend this restaurant!
We had a wonderful dinner with our large family all together for a special celebration for our son. The staff, servers and chef were all so great and personable. The chef personally came to our table to help answer any questions about the menu and accommodated several of us with serious food allergies.
The food was spectacular. I lived in Milan, Italy 20 years and am somewhat of a foodie snob. The linguine al’frutta di mare was authentic and perfectly al dente as we requested. There is always original and seasonal items on their menu. It’s probably the most unlikely place I’d expect a restaurant of this caliber and worth going for even the pickiest foodie looking for a fabulous meal.
I’m hooked. Maybe we’ll see you there. :)
Food was excellent. Hidden gem.
Great food and service!
Great food, good ambience, nice outdoor area, great service, reasonable price, gotta go back
Chef Franklin and the staff are amazing. The food is incredible, and the servers make you feel like family.
Wonderful food and service. I highly recommend it!
Almost immediately upon being seated we were greeted by staff and even the chef who came out intentionally to do so. The staff was most accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our lead waiter went out of his way to provide great service and information about the menu; even with an adjustment with a mixup with one desert. The food was great - branzino, not farm-raised, moist, buttery taste even though de-boned as requested. So also was the rigotoni meatballs. On prior visits we have enjoyed duck breast’s, maiale and New York steak.
Great service & delicious food. Nice not to have to go all the way to DC to get this level restaurant, food and service
