Great margaritas and food for bottomless brunch!
Top notch experience.
Very friendly staff. Thanks for a good dining experience.
It was horrible, the waiter never came to our table. The guy that sat us down originally had to be our server we didn’t get service until 25 mins after sitting there. Our whole table was starving and we all ordered bottomless brunch and the drink service was very poor. After the first hour we had to go get up and ask where are the drinks and we wanted more food and got the check instead. We basically all felt rushed to leave and it didn’t even feel like a brunch experience at all. My friends and I were pretty excited about trying brunch at this location but after this experience we will not be coming back for brunch.
One of my favorite places in DC. Service is always friendly and engaging. Food is always amazing. They do have HH until 7pm so you get get drinks and small plates for $6. Highly recommended.
Really high quality food ingredients, and amazing flavours :)
It is hard to find delicious and healthy food inside the USA, this restaurant transports you as if you were eating directly in a South American restaurant.
Service was amazing, they explained everything so thoroughly, answered all our questions and made our brunch so much more enjoyable.
Manager was great and even gave us free churros
A friend and I came to toro toro to celebrate our birthdays which are a week apart - the food was amazing and the bottomless tapas was a really fun way to chat and enjoy and now have to think much about what we wanted - and was SO reasonably priced! We also got bottomless drinks which were delicious and free flowing. And to top it all off our server was so sweet and brought us both a glass of champagne to celebrate! The service was great, social distancing was appropriate, amazing price for value and delicious food! What more could you ask for?! 10/10 would recommend!
Nice atmosphere, Had a very good and attentive waistress. Menu is severely limited but was tasty
I haven’t been here in years but the food was delicious as always
Terrible service terrible management please save your money
Food was amazing and our server was amazing! We tried the family shared meal. It was a great experience!
pression was HORRIBLE
We had a reservation for 4 at 1:45pm. We get to the place a couple of mins before and the young host ask us to wait 10 mins because there was not table available. He said we can wait at the bar area but not at the bar or we can wait OUTSIDE. Which I replied of course not. I mean it was 44 degrees at the moment.
After 25 mins of wait we asked him, what is going on and how long? He went around the restaurant and came back and said that they didn't have a table for us, like WHAT?? So we tell him we didn't just walked in, we have a reservation and came here in time, call the manager (which never showed up by the way). After a couple of mins the host informed us that he might have a table and proceeded to sat us down, finally!!!
Brunch is $39, bottomless. Options are very limited and portions are tiny (i guess normal for brunch???) the waiter Daniel tried his best but they looked over crowded and not enough waiters. They brought everything on the menu and then you re order what you like. They messed up everything and brought whatever
We asked Daniel for a Bday tres leches for my friend and the put a candle in it, which they never turned on .
Time is supposed to be limited to up to 2 hrs, there were people there from the time we got there, left and they were still there. No wonder why they didn't have tables available.
I don't think I would come back honestly
We enjoyed our visit to Toro Toro. We arrived early and they were able to seat us. We ordered the ceviche and pisco sours to start. I was surprised that chips came with the ceviche but it made it easier to share. The drinks were slightly sweeter than we were used to. The entrees came out quickly. We had lomo saltado and chaufa rice. They both tasted great and we received large portions. The inside was decorated nicely with cowhide accents and steer skulls.
I always enjoying to Toro Toro for brunch & I did not know what to expect since the pandemic. Let's just say, my Husband was pleasantly happy about our anniversary brunch date. I've taken him there for happy hour, but this experience was different and more enjoyable for him. I love how they have incorporated social distancing & serve the food to you. I truly enjoy the unlimited menu items & the creativity the staff and managers put into it. I cannot wait to go back, because whoever they had on the bar for the margaritas, had a nondrinker, drinking up a storm! EVERYTHING was satisfying!!
Wonderful food and atmosphere for brunch. Not full pre-COVID menu, but great variety and so happy to be able to come back!
I had the sweet corn empanadas (okay, not great - I'd pass on this one), Black bean soup (really nice, topped with cheese), plantain (okay, not great and I really like plantains), 2 short rib tacos (these are excellent), 1 fish taco (these are excellent), salmon ceviche (it's really good but you have to visually hunt for the salmon), and chicken skewer (it is good). This was all included in their Family Deal $39 a person. If I did it again, I have more tacos and skewers.
Very quiet at this time.
Thank you for your 4 star review. We appreciate your honest feedback and as always we will use it to make adjustments in our experience. We look forward to welcoming you back soon and thank you for your support during this challenging time for our industry. Toro Toro Management
I have always loved Toro Toro and believe it serves a quality brunch. However, the last time I attended brunch it was loud...very loud. The quality of the food was great (although I miss all the options that were on the buffet). The bottomless mimosas are always a plus for me when it comes to brunch and I love the fact that they offer 3 different kinds (mango or passion fruit are a hit). Overall, I love the brunch but I wish the other patrons weren't so loud and disruptive.
Thank you very much for your review and the feedback on your brunch experience in terms of the ambiance. We will be sure to address this in our pre-shift and manager meetings. Thanks again, and we look forward to welcoming you back. Toro Toro Management Team
ToroToro is taking amazing precautions balancing the COVID-19 Pandemic. Tables are spread out and food during brunch hour is bought to you. I wish they took temperatures at the door however they are asking you wear masks until seated. This was my first time going and I'd rate it a 10/10.
Overall the food met our expectations. I have a gluten allergy and Toro Toro was very helpful in ensuring the items I ordered we're GF. Guac, Ceviche, Black Bean Stew and Fried Rice were excellent! Fried Rice was not GF so I didn't try, but I was told it was great. We also ordered the Chorizo skewers, which was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. We really enjoyed our drinks. Overall atmosphere was great, and service was good.
Thank you for the review. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience at Toro Tor. We hope to see you in again soon, cheers!! Toro Toro Management Team
The male bartender was the only person who seemed like he wanted to be there.
I felt forgotten after my host took a while to take my order.
It's a good food.. Amazing server and Environment was perfect for my date.. My wife loved it.. Coming back soon
Thank you for your five star review! We are thrilled that you had a wonderful experience and look forward to welcoming you back very soon. Toro Toro Management
I really enjoyed Toro Toro this passed Sunday. This is my first time going there since the pandemic. I feel that Toro Toro had done a great job adjusting. I can’t wait to go back again.

Great spot for bruch. Staff was amazing and very professional. They were respectfully the COVID 19 protocols and your personal space. Everyone was in masks and gloves the whole time. The food was delicious. I didnt know where to start so i had a little bit of everything and it was... Totally worth it. I go back over and over again!
Thank you for the 5 Star Review
Food and service was great. Definitely recommended it
Took my husband there for his birthday. Ambience was nice, low light, very romantic...drinks were good, dinner was great, and dessert was amazing...our waiter Daniel was excellent.

I have eaten here for my birthday dinner and now for brunch. One of my favorite spots in DC. Great food and great drinks! Always recommend, I will say it is very lively during brunch (i.e. lots of sound in the restaurant). Overall loved the experience and our server and all other servers were kind and well informed
Excellent restaurant with friendly staff and incredibly accommodating especially during a pandemic. Always a joy coming here for their bottomless brunch.
Celebrated my 38th birthday with a few of my neighbors and everyone had a great time. The waiter was great and was on top of everything. I've been twice before and loved it so I was glad that my friends could experience it since it was all their first time. I wish I had gotten the meats but didnt. We all got the la familia and unlimited cocktails and of course, it didnt disappoint.
I had a 2:00 reservation for a party of 2, we did not get seated until 2:30pm. I was there for the bottomless brunch until 4pm god 39.00. I did feel rushed since we were not seated right at 2, but the staff was accommodating and around 4:30 a server did come and ask if we needed a refill . I really liked the place and would definitely be coming back . I enjoyed the ambiance and the entire vibe . Next time I will get there earlier just in case there are any delays
We arrived at 11:47 to my 11:45 reservation. Our server was excellent the food was great until 1 pm our server tells us it’s last call for what is supposed to be a two hour service. Apparently according to the host we have exceeded our two hour limit and proceeded to give us the check. As we see there crowd out front getting larger I can only assume they over booked their reservations. I tell the server what time we arrived and that there have been other tables there longer than we have. After another person came to confirm if what we were saying was true we got to finish our two hour time frame. After feeling rushed to leave I don’t think the food was that spectacular and awesome for me to experience that again.
Restaurant Week
The Food was on point ,the place was nice ,service was great and the employees were very friendly and helpful. was a great experience and I would highly recommend the restaurant .
I’m finding that restaurants are not the same as prior to the pandemic. Food and service have declined. Unfortunately, many factors may be the cause but I look forward to when things return to a pre-pandemic state..
Went there for restaurant week. Endless tapas for $40 that kept blowing us away. My girlfriend and I had almost everything they had available. The ceviche and all dishes with pulled pork were so, so delicious.
More food could be given at once and the options are very limited for the amount paid.
Spectacular brunch......! The lime wheels in the Margaritas were a nice touch......
The service and our waiter/bartender was excellent. I have never been taken care of at a weekend brunch the way that Toro Toro and staff took care of us. I will continue to come back for many times more. Thank you for making us feel like a million bucks!
Went to go celebrate our 4 year anniversary, and it was great. The food was delicious and the server Lorena was very helpful
