Amazing brunch. Lots of food to choose from. We got the bottomless brunch. Way to much food but was nice to try everything. Service was great too
I have had awesome time as always. I would request that you add more Vegan options on the menu.
Wish the restaurant was open later!
I would recommend Toro Toro if you like out of the ordinary food. This is not the type of restaurant you want to go to if you aren't willing to try some different foods cooked in different ways.
Great small plates, excellent for sharing. Interesting cocktail selections. Very accommodating when we called to push back reservation. Great for large groups.
What great food! Beet salad to die for, tempura fish/and short rib tocos spectacular. Sout out to assistant general manager, Ivana for her personal service. Couldn't ask for a better evening. Highly recommend!
Saturday Brunch at Toro Toro was relaxing and the food very tasty. It isa great variety of brunch favorites with unique flavors. Loved the unlimted mimosas and other drink specials and dont forget to try the tres leches cake and my fav chicken and waffles
The service here was amazing! Best bottomless brunch service I’ve had in DC. Before our drinks were empty, our server was asking us if we wanted another. The food was great as well! I will definitely be going back!
Brunch was AMAZING! The food was amazing and they took their time to create each plate. They seemed to have really kept the quality of food although everything was bottomless. The service was also amazing! I never knew brunch could be that organized. LAURA was a great server and very attentive. We literally could not get to the bottom of our drinks Or food if we wanted too haha. My group eats and drinks a lot and she was able to keep up quite nicely. Can’t wait to go back! Nice job TORRO TORRO.
The evening was very pleasant and fun. The food was excellent and music inviting. My husband and I had a great evening.
Valentine’s Day understaffed.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Will come back again!
Everyone was so friendly! Perfect for a date, birthday or girl's night. Love love loveee the brussel sprouts!
Though the tapas selections are not as plentiful at Toro Toro as at other restaurants, the dishes I tasted were excellent. I guess the chef wants to specialize and perfect a few dishes rather than have many that are mediocre. Definitely try the empanadas. You won't regret it.
I went on a rainy Monday night and the restaurant was calm and quiet. I suspect that it can get noisy at peak meal times.
They were clearly understaffed. Our reservation was at 2:30 brunch is over at 4pm it was not stated when I made the reservation. 2:30 shouldn't even be an option. They sat us at 2:40 watched the staff ask each other for 15 mins who is taking our table then a waiter felt sorry she came over to take our drinks by that time I had gone to the bar to ask for a manager. He was very busy so he just said sorry what do you need. Asked for a few of everything seeing that it was 5 adults, food took forever to trickle out, coffee took 15mins creamer I had to go ask someone else and take silverware from other tables. The noise was horrible I get its busy but other places are built to handle that amount of noise I heard ringing and left with a headache. The food was ok nothing great and we requested certain things before 4pm that didn't come out the manager not wanting to brought out the food and after saying the 2 mamosas we ordered we on the house tried to charge us for them after I requested we get our 2 dishes seeing we barely got any food. For sure not going back for brunch and that is we have a party of 15-20 that normally brunch a few times a month.
Brunch options were stellar and the bottomless cocktails were tasty and not watered down. Will definitely go again!
Very great food! And drinks!
we sat at the bar and service was very good and attentive, without being in-your-face. we had some good small plates, nothing really special but enjoyed the crispy brussels sprouts, short-rib tacos, and grilled chicken skewers.
We had a wonderful experience for a friends dinner out. We did the bottomless dinner and drinks and most definitely for the most bang for our buck with this option:l. We worked our way through every dish and the drinks were delish. Matija our server was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed.
Amazing food, outstanding value but wayyyyy too loud
The food was good but the server Martin kept forgetting to order our food and drinks, we had to order churros 4 times before we got them at the end of the meal. There was a lot of food that we didn’t even get, but we got really annoyed of asking again and again so we decided to just pay and leave.
Brunch!!!! You must go! Try everything. You can with the offer. The mango mimosa was everything.
The unlimited brunch is so good. You could either order the dishes or you can ask them to bring them to you-- which I think is the best way to enjoy their brunch. We didn't like our seats at first and they were so patient with helping us find a seat that we liked. Also the bar that has the garnishes for the bloody Mary's is AMAZING! Definitely going back there soon
Went for brunch with a large group. They were very accommodating--went above and beyond--and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend Toro Toro for the unlimited brunch.
Very tasty and the tapas were just the right amount to please but not overstuff. I enjoyed the entire meal from start to finish. We got short rib tacos, masa fries and swordfish dip. The masa fries had a strange but tasty peanut sauce. The other two were amazing dishes. I also got a ceviche that was perfect. My hubby got the filet main dish and I thought it was awesome but he felt it was a little salty. Service was spot on and the ambiance was lovely too. Would highly recommend!
All of our small plates were top notch. It's definitely a little noisy even when the room isn't full, so it was hard for some people in our party to hear others speaking to them - had to shout a bit. But the flavors were fresh and varied and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Great service, very attentive. Would definitely recommend
Delicious food! Great for a group dinner!
It's very convenient to the Silver/Blue/Orange Line and a real 'find'. Toro Toro is not overcrowded and has a reasonably priced menu with plenty of choices. I'll be back very soon.
Great service and delicious food!
I dined with my mother, sister, and daughter for brunch. The food was excellent as were the drinks. I love the unlimited tapas and drinks concept. We tired a number of different items which we enjoyed. My biggest complaint was for the lack of parking in the area. It might help their business if the restaurant provides valet parking given how tight street parking is in the area
We came here with two couples. It was a nice lively atmosphere, but we all agreed the food was just okay. We ordered every ceviche on the menu, plus a few other dishes including beef skewers and short rib tacos. The dishes were fine, but uninspiring. Even with all the ceviches lined up, there wasn’t a significant distinction in taste between them and hardly any seafood in them at all. And the taste of each was bland. The drinks were also just okay. All in all, there was nothing that we tasted which was particularly special.
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT
The best restaurant in DC for an event, party of 10+ Unlimited tapas and bottomless drinks at a fixed price - way to go!!!!
Nice dinner before catching a show. Did the family special with unlimited dishes. All dishes were awesome. Didn’t meet a single one we didn’t like. Excellent cocktails.
The menu isn’t what it used to be, hair was found in the food, and the drinks took a really long time to come out.
Meeting with a dear friend
Pork Belly Benedict is not as good as it looks. The hard-boiled eggs destroy my experience. Churros was too soft to be like a stick shape，which is over sweet.
The food was good, however the drinks were not the best. The margaritas are not fresh made and the beers menu a little poor.
The waiter and the bartenders were nice.
The host not so much. We asked for a different table and she looked unhappy to help.
The beef short ribs are the best I have ever had. Lean tender full of flavor. The traditional guacamole is a must-have I could eat my weight in that
Took my mom out to lunch. The good was great! The waitress was great. We had the endless brunch. Everything was great. My suggestion would be for them to create and have more vegetarian options.
