Toro Loco Igloos

My whole party was freezing lol, we did assume this and prepare but it was just so cold still. However I’m more upset about the surprise that we were having a set chefs menu for the night. The food was very good and it was a great price for the amoint we got ($200 for 4) I will admit.... but not being able to pick and order what I wanted to was kind of annoying especially not being given any other option....It was not a pleasant surprise as that was not mentioned on the website or in the reservation booking. That being said though I did enjoy most of the food brought out but I cannot say the same for my whole party. Just a heads up would have been appreciated

Wonderful dining experience at the Igloo’s at Toro Loco! We were celebrating my son’s birthday, and we had a really great time in the Igloo. The food was excellent, one delicious serving after another, not to mention the awesome Sangria & La Casa Margarita carafe. Jake our server was top notch, he was so gracious, and really made our son’s birthday celebration special. Thank you Jake, and the great staff at Toro Loco in Farmington, CT!

Eating in an outdoor igloo was fun. The carafe of Margaritas was orangey delicious. Dallas and the rest of the staff were attentive and kept the food coming. The mango salsa, queso, guacamole, chips, and fried cauliflower were all delicious.

The garlicky shrimp was well seasoned, the carne asada Pinchot was tender and delicious.

So much food we took most of the paella home for some tasty leftovers.

The kids loved the cookie ice cream sandwiches, the chicken taco and the hamburger inside a tortilla covered in cheese. Wish the chicken taco and fry serving was as big as the burger and fries. One of our kids was so full but just had to try everything.

Love this little gem in Farmington. Great food, great atmosphere and great service.

Food and service was outstanding. Would absolutely go back and cannot say enough good things.

Even though it was cold... bring a throw blanket and bundle up... there are heaters but on cold nights you need that extra. Super romantic , you can bring your own beats for music or use your phone. Food is AMAZING and so is the staff! Deff going back ! Loved it!

Absolutely amazing experience. The food was delicious and the igloos were so much fun! Loved the idea that it was a chefs menu and our server picks out what we eat. Only suggestion would be to put a larger rug underneath table and chairs as deck is very cold in the winter. Hoping to be able to do this again next year.

Everything was wonderful! It’s hard to find a safe and warm covid dining experience Our igloo was so cozy and Covid friendly! Our server really took care of us and was super friendly (Thanks Dallas!) The igloos had a chef’s menu with 4 courses and a carafe of margs yum. The food was tasty and just kept coming — I’m still eating leftovers 2 days later! Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

So fun eating in an igloo! great experience. they are heated and you can play your own music. food is delicious. highly recommend.

Amazing food, atmosphere and service!

This was our first meal out at a restaurant in a year and Toro Loco Igloos made the trip more than worth it. Thanks for everything!

Had a great experience for dinner in one of the igloo's, safety is clearly their #1 concern. The food and service were both outstanding, exceeding all expectations. The ambience of the igloo's has to be experienced- it's so awesome, and the pre-fixe menu is top notch. If you are reluctant to do much right now but really miss dinner's out, don't hesitate to make a reservation. You will not regret it and will be making another one soon after!

This was the best experience I've ever had! The Igloos are such an amazing atmosphere to relax and enjoy your company. They supplied a blue tooth speaker to listen to your own music. It had heat and was sanitized very well.
The chefs tasting was 4 shareable courses with a carafe of your choice of margaritas. Sooooo good!! All of it was outstanding.
And then there was our waitress, I believe her name was Megan. The best waitress ever! One of my party members has a special diet and Megan went above and beyond to find food for her as well.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something completely different. Worth it to try at least once!!

Our waiter was Tom he was great ! Went at 730 pm , it had snowed the day before so the igloos looked really cool with the lights and the food was great so much of it

Fun atmosphere and food was impressively fantastic! We had the Igloo "chefs choice" which for us included a salsa/guac flight, corn salad, avocado salad, tacos, and seafood paella (and more!). Definitely would recomend visiting Toro Loco!

The food was amazing and the experience was better then expected. Just dress very warm.

The igloo was a nice experience. It was 20 degrees outside and even though there were 2 small electric heaters are feet were frozen. Dress warm. Food and aviance was very nice.

Such a fun experience eating in one of the igloos. Food was amazing, Chef's Choice Menu was perfect, and service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!
