    Food and service was first rate. I had dinner and had the steak and roasted avocado. The steak was very tender and flavor was excellent. The service at the bar was just as good.

    Food is excellent. Servers and manager are very kind. The bar tender, MC knows how to fix your drink. Spacious place and lots of room to walk around. We all enjoyed our dinner.

    Food is excellent It can be a five star restaurant if they get professional seasoned staff. Chef eating while he is touching your food, staff removing plates you haven’t even finished or asked to remove, and the waiter begging for extra tips are all a real turn off.

    A hidden gem, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food, the ambience, the service were all exceptional. Fantastic place, also you don’t have to worry about parking there’s plenty!!

    Exceptional service and experience. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. Our host, Richard, was incredibly attentive from the moment we walked in and went all out to give our group a fine dining experience. Our mixologist, Daniel, crafted delicious drinks based on flavors and tastes we liked. We dined in the tequila library where the ambiance was sophisticated and classy. Toro is perfect for celebrating a special event or just having a night out for dinner and drinks.

    The food was Delicious I had the chicken , and I really enjoyed it . The drinks were great I had two Martinis and a light beer i over did it just a little, I wasn’t driving so I just let my hair down . The overall meal was truly unforgettable!!!!

    Highly recommend Toro. My wife and I had two of the best tequila-based cocktails we have had in a while. Then the food was outstanding. I had a nicely spiced chicken with delicious mashed potatoes and veggies. My wife raved about her (enormous buger). Then we had the churros for desert and they were the best I’ve ever had. The service was quick, efficient and very friendly. The only downside is that the restaurant was steakhouse-level pricey, but probably worth it.

    Last night's experience at the restaurant was not the best. The waitress never inquired if we wanted water and instead repeatedly brought us the priciest bottled water. We only ordered two dishes, a hamburger and a lomo saltado, yet the bill totaled $160 without any drinks. The quality of the food didn't justify the steep price, leaving us feeling like we'd been taken advantage of. I won't be returning to this restaurant. I have been there many times previously was good but last night was not great.

    What an amazing surprise! We were booked at the hotel for one night and having arrived late we did not want to go out so we decided to have dinner at Toro. So fortunate! This turned out to be one of our best dining experiences ever! How is this restaurant not Michelin rated? The Peruvian/ Asian fusion flavors were incredible! Service was great and I had an incredible smoked Old Fashioned! Please try it! I would hate to see this great restaurant close out! We were there on a Saturday night and it was, sadly ,kind of empty!

    Found that Toro was participating in the Fort Lauderdale Restaurant Month and I do not regret it! The ambiance is very cute and cozy, the bartender was funny and made my drink perfectly. I decided to try out their tequila library so he made me a passionfruit mule using tequila which was delicious. I'll definitely be going back! I really enjoyed the smoked swordfish dip with the plantain chips. The restaurant is connected to a hotel and does have a parking fee so be conscious of that when visiting

    Keep coming back to this place! Such nice vibe and staff couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating. Manager is present and on top of everything. Food is good. Never have had a bad meal.

    Incredible experience for the foodies, tequila lovers and new to tequila. We shared a family style dinner (no individual plates) and sampled many of their delicious dishes. Calamari, octopus, corn arepas, ceviche, guacamole, beef, pork, chicken, fish and plenty of sides. The churros were fresh and simply melt in your mouth. Danny, the mixologist, gave us a twist of our favorite drinks but made with tequila. The place is very nice and felt like we were having a family meal at home. Everything was delicious and no one was left out.

    We had a great time at the Tequila Tasting last night. It was very informative. Danny was the MC and did a great job filling in for some of the presenters who were unable to make it due to the weather. Eric, from NueveUno, did a great job of presenting his tequila. The food was mostly fantastic, with our favorite being the Halibut Tiradito and the Posole Rojo soup Both should be on the permanent menu! SO GOOD! The reason I only gave 4* on the food was both of our lamb chops were way over cooked. It was a tough juggle for the chef as each course had a tequila pairing and a presentation. Overall we highly recommend Toro and specifically these tasting events.

    It was a birthday dinner last night for myself, where my close family and friends were invited. Simple to make the reservation for 7 through OpenTable, and when I needed to add a person, that process was a breeze as well. When we arrived at the restaurant, finding parking was a little confusing as it is in the same lot as a hotel, but was ultimately easy to actually get a spot, as there were plenty available. The table was held for us even though we had run a few minutes behind schedule, the host took us to a whole privately cordoned off area that was solely for our family, and we sat down. (I might add, this is likely not the standard procedure, they were not too busy and therefore had the time and space to seat us in a whole separate room that would be normally sat with 10 or so small tables near the tequila lounge). The food was excellent! Our host suggested for our party of 8 to order a few appetizers, two of the kebabs, and the sides that come along with it in addition to our beautiful craft cocktails they served us. It was served family style and was all delicious. So good and such a nice environment in fact, that for a special occasion, we entirely forgot to “capture the moments” and take pictures of the food, the restaurant, or even our dinner party. Once I find a great spot, I recommend to everyone- and I can say I’ve already mentioned it to about 10 different people today alone.

    Toro is a must for any one seeking a great meal for any occasion. whether you are seeking a romantic meal, business meal or a bar for cocktails, Toro is a great option in the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area. The food and service were exceptional. The bar and the bartenders excelled with their tequila options and creativity.

    Arrived on a Friday night and the restaurant was not crowded. Drinks and appetizer were all very good. Ordered the Salmon and the Lomo, both were cooked to perfection and in generous quantity. Passed on dessert but were given something sweet on the house anyway. Our waiter, Aba, was on point all night and could teach the "How to be a perfect waiter" course. First time visit there but definitely not the last.
