   Fly from San Francisco to experience this. Not disappointed. Food served with moderate speed & excellent quality. Service was outstanding.

   It is no kokekoko but very close. easier to get in now for a non conosuier of yakitori it is more than sufficient still better then most and the best torisoborro

   Authentic yakitori in LA... what not to enjoy .. Like being in Japan. Food is really good, corkage is reasonable if you want to bring your own wine. Wide selection of beer, Saki and shoju. Really nice staff.

   Great Yakitori restaurant-- totally authentic Japanese food. The staff are wonderful, good place to take friends for leisurely dining. A fun place to go. Good sake and shochu selections.

   A perfect experience, I have been here twice since they changed locations and this time they have a new name as well . I'm always astonished at the of customers considering that the food is superb. Cooking and waitstaff also on point, i cannot wait to come again.

   The chicken was prepared beautifully and cooked to perfection. Better than the other Yakitori bars in the same place

   I made a 7pm reservation on 04-01-16 through open table for a party of three. I received confirmation that I had a reservation at 7pm from open table for a party of three. However, when we arrived at 7pm we were told that they over booked the 7pm time slot and we could not be seated, even though the restaurant was half empty. They said it was there fault because they did not check open table and did not see our reservation??? They gave me the following options: 1. We could wait to see if the larger party with 7pm reservations showed up, and if not they could fit us in??? 2. We would be Allowed to place a order to go??? 3. We could leave our phone number and we would receive a call sometime later in the evening if a table became available??? Since we had a show to catch at 8:30, we decide to just leave. I have been going to Kokekokko for many years now, however, after this last unprofessional, very embarrassing experience, I will never go back. I am also very amazed that Open Table would allow restaurants such as Torigoya to make a mockery out of there own business undermining the reservation process Open Table provides. I will be hesitant and more cautious next time using Open Table, especially when reservations made through Open Table are not being honored.
