   Food was excellent although there were quite a few items on the menu which were not available. Very relaxed atmosphere although sometimes a bit too relaxed and getting the waiter’s attention was difficult. But overall the ambience was lovely with little background noise so we could actually hear each other speak. Word of warning, bring your own booze as it is alcohol free in terms of the menu. We had to rush out to buy some wine. Overall we had a good time and would definitely go back.

   Delightful halal restaurant. The large mezze was delicious, with fresh baked naan to accompany several full-size appetizers and a mountain of olives. Lamb shank was a big hit, along with the lamb kebab main. Everything is homemade and delicious.

   Deserves more than 5 stars - absolute gem of a find! Freshest of food cooked to perfection. Chicken wings starter - hubby still talking about it! Babaganoush delish and the nan bread is exceptional, mains were outstanding and grand-daughter polished off a plate of homemade baklawa even though she had never tasted it before in her life - a thumbs up from the 8 year old too. Would definitely recommend.

   We have eaten here several times and have always found the food to be delicious, the service very friendly and efficient and the value genuinely outstanding. It's not pretentious or fancy, just beautifully cooked, aromatic and flavoursome food. And you can bring your own bottle. Just love it at Toranj.
